RACE TWO

This shapes as a great contest with some in-form, up and coming performers squaring off. After a strong debut victory ROCKNHOLME (5) followed that up with an eye-catching 2nd when making up strong ground from back in the pack to be 5m in arrears of the winner NIFTY STUDLEIGH. He can add another victory here.

BEE GEES BEST (6) has some ability but has some way to go on improving his tractability and manners to furnish into a nice type. Doing it all on raw ability here 2 starts back when scoring a big 35m victory, he followed that with a 2m defeat as the hottest of favs. He can throw down a big challenge.

DESTINY JANE (7) was a beaten fav in 2 runs back from a 12-month break but was able to hang on for a minor in each. With added fitness she found her race last start when blitzing her rivals in claiming a 23m victory over the AP mile last start. The gate stings but she will be probing.

GRETELS GIRL (3) returned from a spell for a new stable when closing out in good order from a 2nd line gate to grab the silver last time out. Settling handy to the action she can chime in again.

SELECTIONS: ROCKNHOLME (5), BEE GEES BEST (6), DESTINY JANE (7), GRETELS GIRL (3)
SUGGESTED BET: ROCKNHOLME (5) to win

RACE THREE

MOLLYS SECRET (6) took on a mares qualifier last start when chasing home behind the smart winner POWER SURGE. Darting along the passing lane to grab the bronze behind TORQUE ONETWOTHREE the start prior, she has the edge to overcome the impediment of the wide gate.

SIGNORINA JUJON (8) will strip fitter from her latest outing when 1st up from a spell. Pressing forward to find position before receiving running line cover, she was not that far from the winner LARRY LINCOLN. Back to mares only company, she can make career start 50 a memorable one.

BLACKJEWEL (1) was a winner here 3 starts back after receiving the perfect run in transit and finishing best to take the prize. Beaten by a wide gate last start, she can get the perfect trip to join in late here.

UTELLA (2) should appreciate a mares only contest after taking on experienced campaigners in all of her starts to date. Gate 7 was her undoing last start and the start prior an error ended her chances. From the gate she can be thereabouts.

SELECTIONS: MOLLYS SECRET (6), SIGNORINA JUJON (8), BLACKJEWEL (1), UTELLA (2)
SUGGESTED BET: MOLLYS SECRET (6) to win

RACE FOUR

APACHE WHITESOX (7)
will be relying on some factors in his favour here but if they eventuate, he will be dressed and ready to dance up the passing lane. Beaten by the wide gate last start when unable to find position and forced to retreat, he will be sweating on the opening arriving with momentum.

NEWMERELLA MOLLY (8) eased from gate 4 last time over the sprint trip to find position before trying to work into the contest wide out. Sent out as the fav, she could only manage to slide into 3rd. That followed a 2nd when working home late behind WILLSINTOWN and she can make a closing play.

GHOST GUM (1) looks to have the early speed to take control of this and then will be gripping on. Gunned down last start after setting the tempo, he finished hard here 2 starts back. He can place from the gate.

HESLUVABLE (6) started from gate 9 last time out when working home in good style wide off the track when runner-up to ASHLEE NITRO. The wide gate stings but with the right trail can chime in again.

SELECTIONS: APACHE WHITESOX (7), NEWMERELLA MOLLY (8), GHOST GUM (1), HESLUVABLE (6)
SUGGESTED BET: APACHE WHITESOX (7) to win

RACE FIVE

RITCHIE BEE (2)
faced a tough gate last start when forced to retreat and from back in the pack did not really make an impact. A winner here 4 starts back when leading them all the way over the 1780m, he followed that with a 2040m 2nd to MOLLYS SECRET. He can capitalise from the gate.

REGAL NIGHTSHADE (3) has been in good touch here of late as he works closer to ending a win drought that has now extended 12 months. Working home wide off the track last start when 3rd, it followed a tough trip from the breeze over the 2040m when not that far off them. He can press forward to throw it down.

ALLSTAR SEA (9) struck trouble last start at the 800m mark over the mile and ended his night. Placed in 8 of 12 on this track, if the pace is too hectic up front, he can chime in to break his Redcliffe duck.

WAVEDANCER (1) eased from gate 6 last start to find the running line before closing in good order when 6m from the winner BEEF CITY STARZZZ. With the benefit of a cosy trip, he can chime in.

SELECTIONS: RITCHIE BEE (2), REGAL NIGHTSHADE (3), ALLSTAR SEA (9), WAVEDANCER (1)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-3-9

RACE SIX

BETTOR SPORT (8) was sent to the breeze last start from gate 4 over the AP 2138m. With the power going on through the 3rd panel, he was game, and the tough run saw him fade in the closing stages. Runner-up to FIRE AND ICE the start prior, with even luck in transit, this is within reach.

IDEAL TIGER (2) made an error last start and was asked to work hard in the run when fighting hard behind the talented 3YO MAJOR FERNCO. Closing out in good order the start prior from a wide gate when grabbing the bronze, he can settle close enough to throw down a challenge here.

FAVOURITEHIGHLIGHT (9) was taken back from gate 5 last start where from back in the pack she was closing in good order behind GOJOE. 3rd the start prior behind the in-form FEEL LIKE DANCIN, she has podium claims.

MAFFIOSO GIRL (1) was beaten by gate 6 over the AP 2138m last start when closing soundly behind FIRE AND ICE. Strong in defeat from gate 6 here 2 starts back, the inside gate is a huge bonus in this.

SELECTIONS: BETTOR SPORT (8), IDEAL TIGER (2), FAVOURITEHIGHLIGHT (9), MAFFIOSO GIRL (1)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SEVEN

LIFES A JUNGLE (3) has been out of the winner’s circle for some time but that has not been through lack of effort. Out of luck and not finding the right conditions has plagued him but this looks a chance to turn that around. Settling handy to the action from this gate, he might just be able to sneak off with the prize.

WHOSTOLEMYPIGEON (8) went to the pegs from gate 3 last start and was strong to the line when 9m from the smart winner L L COOL J. Down the line the start prior after easing from gate 5 over the AP 2138m trip, he was chasing behind the power running THE FORTUNATE SON the start prior. This looks more within reach.

JUST JOSHIN (9) stayed out of any early speed last start before making a strong finish. Although 5th, it was a blanket finish when only beaten a neck. With the right trail he can be chiming in late.

JAY DEE BE ROLLIN (5) has not had much go his way in 3 starts since arriving in Qld where there have been genuine excuses on each occasion. The gate does not help, but he can be sharper in this.

SELECTIONS: LIFES A JUNGLE (3), WHOSTOLEMYPIGEON (8), JUST JOSHIN (9) JAY DEE BE ROLLIN (5)
SUGGESTED BET: LIFES A JUNGLE (3) to win

RACE EIGHT

DAPPER BESSIE (1) finally lands a gate after landing wide front-line gates at her past 3 starts. Working home soundly last start in a mares qualifier behind POWER SURGE, it followed a 4m 3rd behind VENUS JUJON. With all the options on offer here, she can breakthrough.

AMILLION PROMISES (6) has the terrible gate but that is offset by the fact she has a superb record here at Redcliffe with 5 wins in her 6 starts. Wide and chasing hard when hitting the line strongly last start, she arrived for a smart win here 2 starts back. Kept fresh, she can be closing out to challenge.

WICKED AZZ (4) had no luck at all 4 runs back and then at her next outing struck trouble. Strong in victory here 2 starts back, she finds the right type of race to be right in the fight here.

TUAPEKA LIGHT (5) is another mare with a 5 from 6 record here. Racing in strong Saturday night company her past 4 starts including a close effort behind JERADAS DELIGHT, she can feature.

SELECTIONS: DAPPER BESSIE (1), AMILLION PROMISES (6), WICKED AZZ (4), TUAPEKA LIGHT (5)
SUGGESTED BET:DAPPER BESSIE (1) to win

RACE NINE

SOME EXCUSESOMEWHERE (1) has 2 previous outings on this track where he drew poorly on each occasion. With great early speed he looks set to light the lamps, a position he took up last start when fading in the stretch. If able to pinch a panel in front, he can look to take them all the way.

BEE GEES BANDIT (9) will be requiring a slice of luck from the 2nd line but a genuine tempo looks expected which will play into his favour. Finding the line strongly last start when 6m in arrears of CLASSIE AMERICAN, he was strong late the start prior. Look for him swooping hard.

MUCH BETTOR (5) is yet to miss he board in 6 outings here on The Triangle and with even luck can add another to that tally here. Closing nicely behind STOMPEM 2 starts back, he is in the mix.

JAMES DEAN (7) did some early work prior to receiving cover last start when finding the turn and burn tactics not to his liking when mid-field to SMART AS CAMM BE. He will be searching for gaps.

SELECTIONS: SOME EXCUSESOMEWHERE (1), BEE GEES BANDIT (9), MUCH BETTOR (5), JAMES DEAN (7)
SUGGESTED BET:
