RACE TWO

LETTERKENNY BOY (9)
has not had anything go his way since resuming from a spell and although facing another tough draw, might just get things in his favour here. Snagged back to the pegs last start from gate 6, he was strong to the line when 3m away and the tempo looks right in this.

DAPPER (1) was resuming from a spell here 3 starts back doing some early work to find position and finished off nicely when 5m in arrears of the in-form CHASING THE WIND. Beaten by the gate second-up, his latest effort had merit behind LE TISSIER and from the gate he gets his chance.

WESTAR SAM (2) was sent to sit parked from gate 5 last start and griding it out was in for the fight when prevailing by a head margin. Settling handy from this gate can see him in the mix again.

GOLIGHTLY (5) should be close to full fitness now after 3 runs back from a spell, the latest when chasing behind the airborne KIWIS ARE FLYING. Just 3m away the start prior, he can feature.

SELECTIONS: LETTERKENNY BOY (9), DAPPER (1), WESTAR SAM (2), GOLIGHTLY (5)
SUGGESTED BET: LETTERKENNY BOY (9) each-way

RACE THREE

MACH TORQUE (7)
sat in the pocket trail last start from this same gate when using the passing lane to be within 2.5m of the in-form winner SHE OWNS THE DAY. Claiming the bronze on that occasion, she will need some factors in her favour here that look to prevail to give her the closing shot.

EAGLES RESPONSE (1) arrives in Qld at the state’s leading stables of Grant Dixon. Well beaten at Wagga first up when resuming from a long spell, this will be her second up effort and was a recent trial winner on this track in nice style. With early hustle, she has the gate for a first up challenge.

AYE AYE CAPTAIN (9) was eased for position over the AP mile last start and was deep in the pack against the tempo behind ONE LAST ROLL. This looks more suitable, and he is in the mix.

LIFEINHEAVEN (6) tackled a tough race at headquarters last start when midfield behind the progressive 3YO ITZ CHEROKEE JACK. A winner in 3 of her previous 4 here, she can feature.

SELECTIONS: MACH TORQUE (7), EAGLES RESPONSE (1), AYE AYE CAPTAIN (9), LIFEINHEAVEN (6)
SUGGESTED BET: MACH TORQUE (7) to win

RACE FOUR

DEVOUGED (5)
was defeated by gate 7 over the mile at headquarters last start but his effort in defeat was full of merit. Snagged back to the rear, he faced an interrupted run to the wire but still laid out some impressive sectionals. Not far away in recent starts, he can descend on them.

ONETWO THREECHEESE (8) started from inside the second line over the AP mile last time out and was eased away from the poles before making a wide run. Fading over the latter stages, it had followed a narrow defeat here when leading all bar the last stride. Despite the tough alley, he can bounce back.

DOLLARBILL (9) shoots for the hat-trick after successive wins since returning from a spell. First up and finishing best from the trail, he was too strong last start at Marburg and can feature again.

ALBION ARK (3) was making a closing play after retreating from gate 5 here last week and with one last dive was just a neck in arrears. The 2040m is not his ideal but he still has podium claims.

SELECTIONS: DEVOUGED (5), ONETWO THREECHEESE (8), DOLLARBILL (9), ALBION ARK (3)
SUGGESTED BET: DEVOUGED (5) to win

RACE FIVE

WOODLANDS ROSE (1) settled in the pocket trail last start from the ace at The Creek and sent to the post as the favourite, could not set out after the leader and winner ONE LAST ROLL. Using the passing lane when 3rd to DONNY JONES the start prior, she can get the trip to strike.

DON HESTON (2) will strip fitter from his latest outing where he was second up since resuming. Buried in the run from gate 8 when first up, he was in deeper against the poles last start from gate 10 over the AP mile. Back to a tight alley where he can utilise his early hustle can see him challenge.

CUZIN LYNDAL (5) was taking her first look at The Triangle last start when firing out from gate 4 to take control. Unable to see it out when 5m from the winner, she can be thereabouts.

MISTERRIODEJANEIRO (6) has no favours again from the carpark, but he has been performing strongly from tough gates of late. A strong Marburg winner 3 starts back and placed twice since.

SELECTIONS: WOODLANDS ROSE (1), DON HESTON (2), CUZIN LYNDAL (5), MISTERRIODEJANEIRO (6)
SUGGESTED BET: WOODLANDS ROSE (1) to win

RACE SIX

ABERCROMBIE TAB (2)
is nearing another win after placing at his past 4 runs in succession with all 4 at this track. Forced to retreat after unable to secure position from gate 4 last start, he was winding up in the closing stages last week when. A beaten fav the start prior, he looks to get every chance.

THE RAGNBONE MAN (6) was sent forward from this gate last start to sit parked. Putting the leader away, he looked to have established the winning break and despite getting weary near the wire, was able to cling on for the prize. With a similar trip in a similar field, he will be throwing it down.

SIGNOR JUJON (7) rolled forward early until cover presented and from the 1x1 trail, he was unable to go on with it as MISTY CREEK dictated. Placed his previous 3 in succession, he will be probing for openings.

DOOLITTLE DEXTER (1) is still a maiden but has placed at her past 4 in succession, finishing as the runner-up at her past 3. Best of the chasers last start behind ILLAWONG KIM, the cosy trip suits.

SELECTIONS: ABERCROMBIE TAB (2), THE RAGNBONE MAN (6), SIGNOR JUJON (7), DOOLITTLE DEXTER (1)
SUGGESTED BET: ABERCROMBIE TAB (2) to win

RACE SEVEN

WRITE TIME (6)
has been defeated just once in his five appearances here at Redcliffe, that coming when buried in the run from inside the 2nd line and never getting a shot at them. Pressing forward to lead them from gate 5 last start, he had enough in reserve to claim the prize and despite the wide gate looks the one to beat.

DATSINAHURRI (3) found the pocket trail from gate 4 over the sprint trip 5 runs back and with the economical run had the bullets to fire in the stretch. Buried her past 2 from inside the 2nd line, she gets the opportunity to be closer to the action to make her challenge.

TULHURST LOVER (5) faces the tricky gate but is racing in nice order, only fading last start after a tough trip when racing parked from gate 6. A winner 3 runs back, she is in the mix.

PRIVATE JUJON (2) settled back in the pack last start before finishing off in nice order when 5m in arrears of WRITE TIME. Settling closer from this alley can see him chime in again.

SELECTIONS: WRITE TIME (6), DATSINAHURRI (3), TULHURST LOVER (5), PRIVATE JUJON (2)
SUGGESTED BET: WRITE TIME (6) to win

RACE EIGHT

VALKYRIE HANOVER (8)
may have taken 70 starts to land her first victory, but it took her just another 2 starts to land win number 2. Runner-up in the only start in between, she can settle handy enough to the action here and look to have the fresh legs late to arrive in a tricky contest.

WEDDNG NIGHT (5) was trying to take them all the way last start from gate 2 when fired up in front. Giving to the line in holding on for the bronze, it followed a powerful finishing burst when claiming the prize from the 2nd line. The gate stings but she is in nice touch and is up to the challenge.

CARIBBEAN ROCKET (6) was a winner here 3 starts back when settling in the trail from gate 4 and making the closing shot a winning on. Despite the tough gate, this is no harder.

WILD ABOUT TOWN (1) took the trail from this gate last start and was unable to go on with it behind WRITE TIME, a flat tyre not helping his cause. He can take control early and looks right in the fight.

SELECTIONS: VALKYRIE HANOVER (8), WEDDNG NIGHT (5), CARIBBEAN ROCKET (6), WILD ABOUT TOWN (1)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE NINE

WHATABOYJACK (2)
should relish the chance to return to maiden company after meeting some wining performers in recent outings. Runner-up when just 3m of LETTUCEROLL 3 starts back, he has not been too far away in both starts since and from the gate looks to get every chance to open the account.

SENORA JUJON (4) fired out from gate 3 to take control here last week and from the front, the tempo was upside down with the opening half stronger than the closing. 6m from the winner SWINGING GEORGE, she can look to turn her fortunes around.

YARRAMAN ROCKY (8) will take some benefit and experience from his debut here last time out where he showed early hustle and then taking a trail held on for 2nd,

DIG DEEP (6) is slowly starting to put it all together and has now placed in her past 2 in succession. Working home strongly from the rear last start, she is a podium chance.

SELECTIONS: WHATABOYJACK (2), SENORA JUJON (4), YARRAMAN ROCKY (8), DIG DEEP (6)
SUGGESTED BET: WHATABOYJACK (2) to win

RACE TEN

PUSHINIT UPHILL (3)
lands the best gate of his short career after facing gate 5 at both his appearances. Rolling forward last start before receiving the 1x1 trail, he was trying hard when 4m in arrears of the winner JEREMES GOTTA GO. The gate and added experience look a big help.

O B LEGAL (6) looks to have a strong edge on his rivals here but is given no favours from the wide gate which is a result of his poor manners last start. Resuming from a spell in that event, he was buried in the run before charging home to be just 2m away. It was a smart return to the track and if class beats map, he wins.

THE HARRIS HAWK (5) was a winner here 4 starts back to break his maiden against the older pacers when finishing over the top. Placed at his past 2 starts, he can be chiming in despite the tough alley.

DANCING WITH MY EX (8) is another to have broken his maiden against the older pacers 4 runs back and has met his own age just once since. Making an error last start, he should appreciate this.

SELECTIONS: PUSHINIT UPHILL (3), O B LEGAL (6), THE HARRIS HAWK (5), DANCING WITH MY EX (8)
SUGGESTED BET:
