Racing Queensland confirms that following a track inspection at the Lockyer Valley Turf Club tomorrow’s race meeting has been called off.
The heavy rainfall experienced in the area today has resulted in surface water pooling on the racing surface with there being no likelihood that it will recover in time for the November 12 race meeting to proceed.
Trainers and riders with engagements at the meeting will now be advised via SMS.
RQ is currently looking to reschedule the meeting to Monday, November 15. A decision as to whether this can be facilitated will be made at short notice.
