RACE TWO

CHEYENNE AUTUMN (4) is on the back-up from Thursday where she was buried away against the poles in the run and when the gaps arrived was attacking the line strongly to be within 2m of the winner. Tough in the breeze 2 starts back, she can roll the sleeves again here and out-tough them.

GIGANTIC JASPER (2) will take good benefit from his run last time out when returning from a freshen. Finding the front from gate 3 over the 2040m he was headed in the stretch, fought back again before going under a half-neck. Back in distance is a big plus here and he will be gripping on.

LIVING FREE (8) started from gate 5 in the same contest as CHEYENNE AUTUMN on Thurs when sent forward for the front, before having to ease back. His Marburg record can see him place in this.

PRIVATE JUJON (1) eased back from gate 4 last time out at Redcliffe and was then just too far back to get into the contest. From this gate he can be bottled up behind them looking for space.

SELECTIONS: CHEYENNE AUTUMN (4), GIGANTIC JASPER (2), LIVING FREE (8), PRIVATE JUJON (1)
SUGGESTED BET: CHEYENNE AUTUMN (4) to win

RACE THREE

DAY TOURER (2) may only have the 1 win to his name here at Marburg, but his form of late is consistent and from the front tape looks to get conditions to suit. Stepping to the front from the 10m impost last start, he was only collared in the latter stages. He can see them off this time around.

NO TRANSACTIONS (1) resumes from a break following his last start at Redcliffe when taking control from the 10m over the sprint trip and then grabbed near the post by MONORAIL. With good manners from the tapes, he can get the right trip here and be looking for space in the stretch.

STONED AGAIN (5) can fly away with cannons on every hoof at release. Grabbed late after working to the front last start from the 40m, if he happens to find the front off 10m, he can capitalise.

ROSEHILL MAGIC (6) worked home to grab STONED AGAIN near the post last time she raced here and then at Redcliffe on Wed was just too far back to get into the contest. She can be sharper here.

SELECTIONS: DAY TOURER (2), NO TRANSACTIONS (1), STONED AGAIN (5), ROSEHILL MAGIC (6)
SUGGESTED BET: DAY TOURER (2) to win

RACE FOUR

REDDY FIRE (1)
found the leaders back from gate 5 at Redcliffe on Wed night and then using the passing lane was 5m from the winner in grabbing the bronze. A winner here 3 starts back when leading throughout, he can make the most of the gate, the only concern running out the trip.

KAY NORA SHANNON (6) will be stalking the 1 every step of the way and sweating on it getting her into the stretch. Only 4m in arrears of MADAME LEZA last start in a mares qualifier, she will get the easy trip here and be probing for space to issue the challenge.

ARES (8) started from inside the 2nd line over the sprint trip here 2 starts back and couldn’t get a crack at them when only beaten a head. Fitter from 2 runs back, he can be thereabouts in this.

WHERES TASCOTT (4) eased back from gate 7 over the AP mile last start and working into the race nicely arrived for the prize. Retired from a gear issue when the fav here 2 starts back, she has claims.

SELECTIONS: REDDY FIRE (1), KAY NORA SHANNON (6), ARES (8), WHERES TASCOTT (4)
SUGGESTED BET: REDDY FIRE (1) to win

RACE FIVE

This looms as a good contest with a number of these finding some form, including DOLLARBILL (8) who worked hard in the run when facing the breeze from the 2nd line here 2 starts back. Franking that with a victory over the 2040m last start at Redcliffe, he can sneak away with this.

DOMESTIC ART (3) was a winner here 3 starts back when taking them all the way in a Marburg to Albion heat from gate 4 and followed that with the bronze in the Final when 5m in arrears. Fading in the stretch last start when in front, he will be gripping on again in this.

RAGING INFERNO (7) started from gate 9 here 2 starts back when wide off the track in a new track record set in front. Making the most of finding the poles over the 2138m at his next start to score, he will be thereabouts again.

TAPTHEKEG (4) makes his debut for Narissa McMullen and was last seen on Oct 14 at Globe Derby when beaten 8m. With fair speed out of the machine, he stays under notice in this 1st up.

SELECTIONS: DOLLARBILL (8), DOMESTIC ART (3), RAGING INFERNO (7), TAPTHEKEG (4)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SIX

ARTFUL MAID (7) has been in good form since returning from almost 12 months on the sidelines and under the care of Richard March. Finishing top-two in all 4 appearances, including a smart Redcliffe win 2 starts back, she was strong to the line there on Thursday. Despite the 2nd line she can take this.

FLYING WINGARD (9) was shooting for a hat-trick of victories at Redcliffe 2 starts back when sent to the post as fav from gate 5. Sent forward he was forced to roll the sleeves and race tough and went within a half-head of the prize. He took on a much stronger qualifier last start and can challenge.

TWITTER BROMAC (5) has the wide gate to negotiate but finds her easiest assignment this campaign. Forgive her Redcliffe run n Thurs where it didn’t go to plan, she can be sharper in this.

CAESARS ASTRUM (4) took on the Rising Stars Final last start and wasn’t suited when snagging back from gate 7. Placed her previous 6 in succession, she will be around the money again in this.

SELECTIONS: ARTFUL MAID (7), FLYING WINGARD (9), TWITTER BROMAC (5), CAESARS ASTRUM (4)
SUGGESTED BET: ARTFUL MAID (7) to win

RACE SEVEN

RUN BOY RUN (6) started from gate 6 in the Rising Stars Final and was hitting the line in good order from back in the pack when 8m from the winner. 3 starts back he went within a half-neck of TOMMY UNDER FIRE and then wasn’t far away in a qualifier next start. With a great stand record, he can pinch the prize here.

CLINTAL DO (8) resumes from a spell and faces a tough ask over the marathon 1st up. His form was good without having much luck heading into the 2613m Redcliffe Cup 2 starts back. Settling with the perfect trip he arrived on the line for the win. With a mile trial to open the pipes for his return, he must be respected.

THE SHADY ONE (9) is a two-time winner from the stand and in 3 appearances here at Marburg has a pair of wins and a 2nd. He has been good in recent starts at AP from bad gates at his past 2 and a bounce back here is within reach.

WEE JIMMY (4) has a handy record from the tapes and from the front line can look to find a handy position in the early stages. Finishing best in claiming a passing lane win last start, he can be thereabouts in this.

SELECTIONS: RUN BOY RUN (6), CLINTAL DO (8), THE SHADY ONE (9), WEE JIMMY (4)
SUGGESTED BET: RUN BOY RUN (6) to win
