Trainer - Jason Edwards

"He had a jump out and two trials the first of which wasn't great on paper, but it was in quick time and he got through the line well, so I thought he could race well fresh."

"His first up run was really admirable over an unsuitable distance and the 1800 at Eagle Farm today with a good tempo suited him down to the ground."

"Mick (Michael Cahill) kept telling me during the week this is his race, he rode him perfect of the muddling speed and he'll only get better over more ground."

Jockey - Michael Cahill

"He's a versatile horse and when a few went forward early it gave me the ability to go back on him and wait to run on and he only goes better the further he travels."

"The track is holding up really well, I'd say slightly worse than a Good 4, but considering the rain we've had it's in good shape."

Stable Rep - Tom Quinn

"We brought him up on Wednesday and he couldn't have travelled any better he held his conditioning brilliantly and was on his toes today."

"He's a full to Boomsara so he has the bloodlines and his trial in Sydney was very forward, we were hoping for a performance like this and he's done it."

"He's a QTIS horse making it well worth our will to come up here and chase the bonuses."

Jockey - Jim Byrne

"He's not the best out but I just wanted to make them work a bit to get around him."

"In his trials it looked like he got a bit keen, but he relaxed nicely today and we just had to come off their heals and givr him plenty of room in the straight."

"It can do wonders for two-year-old's going away from home winning on a foreign track I think he will be a handy one."

"I can't thank Ben Walker and the other boys for bringing this filly to me, she started at Toowoomba and showed promise and I've been the lucky trainer to get her as a three-year-old."

"I think the race at the Sunshine Coast really helped her. She had to race off the fence up there and wandered around, when The Odyssey got up to her today she kept kicking to the line. Had she been there on her own she may have thought about it too much."

"She's Magic Millions horse so I obviously want to get her there, what path we take I'm not sure."

Jockey - Baylee Nothdurft

"She's still got plenty to learn which is the exciting thing, I've ridden her since she first came on the scene and I was rapt to see her in Tony's stable and look forward to keeping the ride."

Trainer - Kelly Schweida

"We just put a line through his last start he got into and awkward spot and was never able to work into it."

"His first up run was really promising and it's good to see him bounce back to that sort of form today, I think he's in for a big preparation."

"We were a little worried with the inside draw and a lot of the jockeys wanting to get off the track today, but Jackson Murphy is riding with real confidence and didn't go around a horse,"

Jockey - Jackson Murphy

"Everyone was steering away from the fence, but with the run we had pocketed away it was the only way home for us."

"He travelled really nicely throughout it was just whether he would get a run and when they all went to the outside we had a free run to the line."

Trainer - Rex Lipp

"She's all heart a very strong filly and hits the line nice and hard, it's hard to knock a record like hers."

"She's got plenty left in the locker I was going to spell her last start but we went home and looked brilliant and I thought we have to give her another go before we tip her out."

"I don't think I'm going to worry about Magic Millions with her, I think she'll do her best work as a Winter Carnival horse and that takes precedence."

"She might come back for one run in the three-year-old's race in the summer carnival, but that'll be it."

Jockey - Jimmy Orman

"We got into a nice spot one out one back and I wanted to make sure she wasn't too far off them with the 59 kilos, so I just let her amble up as we reached the turn before she got into her work."

"I think that's my fifth win on her in her short career and it won't be her last, a big thanks to Rex for sticking by me."

Trainer - Tony Gollan

"He's a really improving stayer, back up in a grade he failed two starts ago, we put the ear muffs and the blinkers on him since and he was well ridden by Baylee Nothdurft today."

"We're going to have a bit of fun with him despite the fact he's a bit of a quirky breed (Lucas Cranach) that can be a little be difficult early but once they start to get in their groove and learn what racing is all about they turn into really nice horses."

Jockey - Baylee Nothdurft

"He's a bit of a tricky horse, all credit goes to Tony he's been patient with him, put the earmuffs on him last start and he won and now he's stepped up to Saturday grade and won again."

"I'd just like to send a big cheerio out to Tegan Harrison who had a fall on Monday, that win's for her."

Trainer - Gary Doughty

"She's been in a rich vein and that's why we've kept her going, she got beaten a nostril two starts ago and has come out and won her subsequent two races, when a mare is in form you keep them going."

"That was her eleventh run of the prep but I ride her at home everyday and she's travelling as well as ever, she'll let me know when she needs a rest."

"You look at her she looks absolutely brilliant and she's backing it up with her racing."

Jockey - Nick Keal

"She's been up for a long time but when mares and in form they're in form."

"I said to Gary before the race I don't think there's anything wrong with the fence she got some momemtum around the turn and nothing was near us."

"She doesn't have a long sprint but she has a good sprint which we were able to save for the last furlong."

Trainer - Lindsay Hatch

"It was a nice ride. We planned to ride him in the way it unfolded and it's just great to have him back from a knee operation and winning in town at his third start back for a loyal group of owners."

"He's been placed a lot throughout his career, with a few little hiccups on the way he really hasd to dig to get that done today I was impressed with his will to win."

"Tracy (Hatch) owns thirty percent so it's always nice to go home to a happy wife."

Jockey - Corey Bayliss

"He really knuckled down that last hundred and kept surging with horses all around him he wanted it most."

"I rode him last start where we were a little unlucky copping a check on the turn, but he finished off nicely and new he could bounce back if things went our way."

Jockey - Jim Byrne

"It's probably not the way you want two dollar favourites to be racing, but there looked to be a fair bit of speed in the race and I just came out neutral on the horse and let him get into his stride."

"We had a few arguments in the run where he didn't want to do what I wanted him to do."

"He's a nice horse and has always shown ability he just gets a little bit excited and tries to travel a little bit heavy."
