RACE TWO

HANOVER LECTER (1) will take good benefit from her return from a spell when looming up and looking to score over the Redcliffe 2040m. Starting in red figures, she was unable to withstand the closing power of OCTOBER RACKETEER when beaten a half-neck. Fitter and back to the mile gives her every chance.

OCTOBER RACKETEER (8) showed the benefit of race experience and fitness when finishing best to nan HANOVER LECTER last start. With the narrow margin, the pair cleared well out from 3rd. Likely to get the perfect trip on the back of the speed, he can be ready to make the closing shot a winner once again.

BELLAVICTREE (2) has placed in 2 of her 3 career starts, the latest when holding on for the bronze behind GIDUP CAPTAIN after securing the pocket trail. Settling handy again here she can feature.

DATSINAHURRI (3) returns from a spell following 4 starts to kick-off her career. Last seen in the Consolation of the Redcliffe Sales Race when down the line behind JUSTA LITTLE BIT, she was given an easy time in a recent trial.

SELECTIONS: HANOVER LECTER (1), OCTOBER RACKETEER (8), BELLAVICTREE (2), DATSINAHURRI (3)
SUGGESTED BET: HANOVER LECTER (1) to win

RACE THREE

HIGH ON MONTANA (5) arrived for the prize here on Friday night over the mile after settling in the 1x1 in transit. Moving up in the stretch, he hit the front to hold on for a narrow victory. Doing it the tough way when runner-up the start prior, he strikes a winnable race to go back-to-back.

SUNNY RICE (3) only has the solitary win to her name yet she has never been far from the action in her career and met some seasoned competitors along the way. 4m from the winner via the passing lane last start, she will strip fitter from that run, her 1st in 8 weeks. Settling handy can see her throw down a challenge.

IMA BEACH BABE (9) speared out before taking cover from gate 3 on Saturday night in the Marburg to Albion Final. The early move was the winning one as she went on to claim a big 10m victory. The 2138m is the query.

LANCELOT BROMAC (6) keeps on keeping on and the veteran can certainly make his presence felt in this. Runner-up over this trip 4 starts back against similar style line-up can see him be thereabouts.

SELECTIONS: HIGH ON MONTANA (5), SUNNY RICE (3), IMA BEACH BABE (9), LANCELOT BROMAC (6)
SUGGESTED BET: HIGH ON MONTANA (5) to win

RACE FOUR

VIEWBYTHEROCK (3)
should appreciate the improved gate after facing some tough alleys of late. Too far back in a 2nd division qualifier last start when down the line behind CONVAIR HUSTLER, the start prior he was game when only beaten a neck behind VENUS JUJON when never looking comfortable at Redcliffe from the 2nd line. From the gate, he looks hard to stop.

MISTER FINNIGAN (6) has hit the board in all 4 starts since arriving in Qld, the latest when 2m from the big-price winner COULDNTELLYA. The start prior he was stuck in traffic over the Redcliffe 2040m and when sighting space, savaged the line the last 100m when 1.5m away. The gate stings, but the tempo looks strong which will fall in his favour.

JAGGERS SWAGGER (1) is a 3YO American Ideal gelding on debut for Ian Gurney that ranks as a half-brother to the smart CARDLESFROMHEAVEN. The gate suits 1st up after a strong trial in readiness for his 1st appearance.

MISTER COLE (2) has been locked away on the poles at his past 3 starts at Redcliffe where he has landed inside the 2nd line at each. Making late metres after unable to hold the leaders back last start, the move to the front line can see him settle in a prominent position.

SELECTIONS: VIEWBYTHEROCK (3), MISTER FINNIGAN (6), JAGGERS SWAGGER (1), MISTER COLE (2)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-3-6

RACE FIVE

The opening leg of the quaddie looks wide-open with a number of these having genuine chances of victory. Despite a 2nd line gate REMEMBER ME NOW (9) might just be able to secure the right trip to get the chocolates here. Grabbed in the closing strides last start by VIRGIL, he was tough in the breeze 3 back when only a half-neck from MACH LE MORE. In top touch, he can take this.

MAJOR MUCHA (10) franked his effort mid-week when scoring a smart win in a 2nd division qualifier on Saturday night. Making a closing play when only a head away from VIRGIL in that mid-week outing, he then was strong to the line after a sustained run to arrive for the prize. He can repeat.

MAN OF ACTION (4) has been runner-up at both Qld starts since arriving, with both over the mile. The distance should not be a concern with solid NZ form over the longer trip and positioning cheaply can see him right in the mix.

SOHO TSUNAMI (6) finished best here last week to claim victory at the mile when returning from a spell. Tightened from that run, he can be in the mix again from the tough gate, with a slight query over the trip.

SELECTIONS: REMEMBER ME NOW (9), MAJOR MUCHA (10), MAN OF ACTION (4), SOHO TSUNAMI (6)
SUGGESTED BET: REMEMBER ME NOW (9) to win

RACE SIX

This is one of the strongest races on a Tuesday card for some time with some very progressive types lining up to do battle. Undefeated in both starts since arriving, KIWIS ARE FLYING (5) has been exactly that withs wins at the mile and the 2138m. Given a sharp trial at Redcliffe to keep ticking over, he can look for three on the run.

DELIGHTFUL MAJOR (9) was equally impressive in his only start in the Sunshine State when claiming a Redcliffe victory. Content to sit outside the leader, he was in cruise control in scoring a smart 4m victory through a slick last 800m panel. The 2nd line might suit here with some good tempo off the front and he can throw it down.

HAVING THE FAITH (4) is on the back-up from Saturday night where he took on a strong qualifier and was game in defeat when runner-up to NURBURGRING. Closing nicely behind CAUTIVAR 2 starts back, he can be chiming in.

NIMAH FRANCO (3) returns from a freshen after hitting the board in all 3 starts since arriving from the Shaky Isles. Within 3m of HAVING THE FAITH last start, she was gunned down after setting the tempo over the 2138m 2 starts back with WILL THE WIZARD arriving. She can place again.

SELECTIONS: KIWIS ARE FLYING (5), DELIGHTFUL MAJOR (9), HAVING THE FAITH (4), NIMAH FRANCO (3)
SUGGESTED BET: KIWIS ARE FLYING (5) to win

RACE SEVEN

PACIFIC DRUMS (4) was returning from a freshen last time out when soon buried in the run from inside the 2nd line. Closing out soundly to be 4m from the winner JUST ROKIN, he will take good benefit from the run. With early speed off the arm, he can gee forward to make a strong claim for victory.

DAPPER (6) backs up from the FFA on Sat night where he was far from disgraced behind the big-hitters in running 4th. The gate is not ideal but back to this grade in his current form, he is a podium player.

CARDLESFROMHEAVEN (10) resumes from a spell, last seen back in February when landing a half-neck victory after leading throughout. With a smart trial in preparation, he can chime in late.

STOMPMEM (8)made the most of gate 1 last start when able to dictate in front in landing a narrow victory. Was under siege at the home turn yet rallied strongly to score. Will need a slice of luck.

SELECTIONS: PACIFIC DRUMS (4), DAPPER (6), CARDLESFROMHEAVEN (10), STOMPEM (8)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE EIGHT

LETS GO BETTER (3) will be further tightened from his latest appearance when 3rd up in Qld off the back of a spell. Forced to work hard in the breeze last start over the Redcliffe sprint trip, it was tight racing when finishing 4m from the winner SPECIAL RESERVE. With his best gate since arriving, he can fire early bullets here.

THATS HOW WEROLL (10) was sent to the pegs from this gate last start when looking for the short-cuts home and grabbed the bronze when 3m from the winner STOMPEM. From that same position he chased late behind HANDSOME HERO the start prior and if there is some tempo here, he can swoop.

LTTLE CHANGE (6) landed the 2nd line last start at Redcliffe and would have been closer with a clearer passage when 7m from the winner LA PLAYER. Too far back over the 2138m 2 starts back, he has podium claims.

ARTHUR LOWE (1) was snagged back from gate 7 last start when chasing hard and making some good closing metres off the leader and winner STOMPEM. A big winner from the draw, he is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: LETS GO BETTER (3), THATS HOW WEROLL (10), LTTLE CHANGE (6), ARTHUR LOWE (1)
SUGGESTED BET: LETS GO BETTER (3)
