RACE TWO

LUCKY UNLUCKY (1) takes his 1st shot at a qualifier and after some tough gates in the past few months, he lands the ace for the right contest. Obliged to do it the tough way from gate 6 last start, he held on for the bronze behind the clear out winner THE FORTUNATE SON. Only a head away 2 starts back, he will need to hustle, but can make the most of the opportunity here.

THEARTOFINFUSION (8) claimed a 2nd division qualifier here 3 starts back when buried away against the poles before charging home to score a smart 8m victory. Placing 3rd at each of his past 2 starts when landing gate 1 on each occasion, he can follow through here to look for the snipers shot.

EARL JUJON (9) is knocking on the door and a drought breaking win might soon be a reality and not a mirage on the horizon. Closing hard last start when 3m from MAJOR MUCHA, the pegs look a good option and he can be chiming in.

PINUP BOY (7) is racing in nice touch and is not far off claiming a qualifier when he can land the right conditions. Not far from the winner CAUTIVAR last time, he was runner-up his previous 2 starts and can chime in despite the carpark alley.

SELECTIONS: LUCKY UNLUCKY (1), THEARTOFINFUSION (8), EARL JUJON (9), PINUP BOY (7)
SUGGESTED BET: LUCKY UNLUCKY (1) to win

RACE THREE

IDEAL WORLD (6) pressed forward from gate 5 over the 2138m last start and was trying to fight them off when grabbed in a blanket finish, beaten a half-head. Back in the pack the start prior as STREET APPEAL forged clear in front, he can look to spear across again and can look to hold on.

COMMODORE JUJON (5) is knocking on the door to claim one of these qualifiers and added another minor to the tally last start when looming up strongly, only to fall a neck short of the prize. Gunned down up the passing lane by CAUTIVAR the start prior, he was only a half-neck away 3 back. Despite the sticky gate, he can throw it down.

SMITHSTARS LEXUS (8) was sent forward from gate 6 last time out and was obliged to work in the run when fighting gamely to be within 2m of the winner. With the cosy trip, he will be probing for some space to offer.

COPPICE (1) steps up a bit in grade for this contest but has the benefit of landing the good alley. Easing from gate 5 here on Tuesday, he was closing soundly, and he is a podium hope.

SELECTIONS: IDEAL WORLD (6), COMMODORE JUJON (5), SMITHSTARS LEXUS (8), COPPICE (1)
SUGGESTED BET: IDEAL WORLD (6) to win

RACE FOUR

Tying to launch a closing raid from a long way back in the pack last start as a short-priced elect,  SMART AS CAMM BE (1) just could not quite reel them in when finishing 3m shy of the winner. Too strong late when charging home over the top of them over this trip 2 starts back, she has the options to bounce back.

STOMPEM (3) set the tempo from gate 1 over this trip in mid-week company 2 starts back. Looking like his day was done as they swung for home, he dug deep to fight back and hold on for the win. Charging home along the passing lane here on Tuesday, he can look to be in the mix from this gate.

SAM IS PREFECTION (5) had been getting closer to a victory and franked that assessment here last week when securing a perfect trip and making the closing shot a winner up the passing lane. Despite the sticky gate, he can be thereabouts again.

HURRICANE ROY (7) started from gate 10 last time out and was attacking the line strongly in the closing stages when 6m from the winner. With the carpark gate again, he will be working home.

SELECTIONS: SMART AS CAMM BE (1), STOMPEM (3), SAM IS PREFECTION (5), HURRICANE ROY (7)
SUGGESTED BET: SMART AS CAMM BE (1) to win

RACE FIVE

WICKED AZZ (5)
was a real eye-catcher here last start when snagged back from gate 7 to find position. Looking to weave a passage, she hit a dead-end at the home turn before a gap opened but she went to the line without being fully tested yet not far in behind them. That was her 1st run back from a break and tightening from that along with what looks a strong tempo, she can arrive.

LOOKING FABULOUS (1) backs up from her effort at Redcliffe on Wednesday night where she was given the stink-eye in front and forced to set a strong tempo for the leading duties over the 2040m. Fading to be a 7m 3rd behind LISA LINCOLN, she will take benefit from the run and back to her own sex over the mile suits.

RNR WINDEMERE (10) will take good benefit from her outing here on Tuesday when 1st up since June and having her 1st appearance for Dan Russell. The return to mares only is a plus and she has podium claims.

MACH TORQUE (3) had a good shot and then maintained the rage outside of LOOKING FABULOUS at Redcliffe on Wed before fading after the tough run in strong time. Limiting the burn to find position can see her feature.

SELECTIONS: WICKED AZZ (5), LOOKING FABULOUS (1), RNR WINDEMERE (10), MACH TORQUE (3)
SUGGESTED BET: WICKED AZZ (5) to win

RACE SIX

LENNY THE LEGEND (7)
capitalised here last week when charging out from a wide gate to take control and once dictating, was able to claim an easy 4m victory. That ended a winless drought that had extended almost 2 years but did frank his form in recent outings where he had been knocking on the door. In this line-up, there is no reason he cannot go back-to-back.

CLARKEY (4) is a horse that needs factors in his favour during the run and he might just get them here coupled with the drop in grade to what he has been facing. Not suited here mid-week he faded when down the line behind PACIFIC DRUMS. Not that far from ROCK WITH SAM the start prior, he can be sharper in this.

OUTLAW FELLA (9) was sent straight to the front here last start over the mile. Unable to fight them off, he was 4m in arrears of the winner SAM IS PERFECTION. With the right early trail, he has claims.

FLAMING HERO (2) might not have the best numbers, but his effort exceeds the returns he has posted. Eased to find position at his past 3 starts, he is slowly getting more fitness after close to 12 months off the scene. He can be thereabouts.

SELECTIONS: LENNY THE LEGEND (7), CLARKEY (4), OUTLAW FELLA (9), FLAMING HERO (2)
SUGGESTED BET: LENNY THE LEGEND (7) to win

RACE SEVEN

COLT THIRTY ONE (7) has been in super form since returning from a let-up with 3 wins and a narrow 2nd in 4 runs back. Sent forward from gate 6 last start over the 2138m, he was too strong in a sub 55 closing 800m from the breeze. Charging home to score over this trip 3 starts back after retreating early, his class gets him home again.

JUSTALITTLE TORQUE (4) has early speed and can look to fire a shot across the bow to get into a handy spot in this. Too far back against the tempo to make ground after starting from the 2nd line last start behind COLT THIRTY ONE, she can be probing for late gaps to issue a challenge.

MAYWYNS BEST (5) did some early work last start to secure position before fading late when mid-field over his less preferred 2138m trip. Back to the mile he can get forward to optimise his chances.

ROCK WITH SAM (1) showed the benefit of finding the right conditions here 2 starts back when finishing over the top of them to claim a narrow victory. Angled to the pegs looking for short-cuts last start, he will not be too far off them.

SELECTIONS: COLT THIRTY ONE (7), JUSTALITTLE TORQUE (4), MAYWYNS BEST (5), ROCK WITH SAM (1)
SUGGESTED BET: COLT THIRTY ONE (7) to win

RACE EIGHT

JERADAS DELIGHT (3) was too far back and too wide when trying to work into the contest last start as the tempo was controlled in front. In the money at all 5 successive starts here at The Creek prior to that outing, she has been charging home from back in the field. Back to mares only company can see her arrive.

WITH THE BAND (5) started from this same gate last time and rolling the sleeves was able to do the work and pull clear for a 3m victory. Chasing gamely for the bronze the start prior behind ITZ MY GENERATION, she can look to put the heat on again here and a repeat win is well within reach.

GODDESS JUJON (8) has been kept fresh since her last appearance when only 9m from the winner TACT BESS in a similar mares event. With early options as the lone 2nd liner, look for her chiming in.

TUAPEKA LIGHT (4) will be further tightened following her latest outing when 2nd up from a break. Down the line behind WITH THE BAND from this same gate, she can be sharper this time around.

SELECTIONS: JERADAS DELIGHT (3), WITH THE BAND (5), GODDESS JUJON (8), TUAPEKA LIGHT (4)
SUGGESTED BET: JERADAS DELIGHT (3) to win

RACE NINE

DOUBLEDELIGHTBRIGADE (6) ended her undefeated streak since arriving in Qld when finishing 7m behind the winner UNCLE JORD. Tucked away on the poles in that event when returning from a break, it had followed 4 successive wins, each one impressive in its own way. Despite the tricky gate, with the added fitness, she can bounce back hard.

RUBIES FOR TASH (8) has charged home at each of her past 2 starts after settling back in the pack on each occasion. Eased from gate 5 to find position last start, she was trying to work into it late. The start prior her individual splits were super when7m from ROCK WITH SAM and she can swoop again.

DREAM TO SHARE (1) speared out from gate 2 when looking to take them all the way at Redcliffe 3 starts back and was only grabbed late by OUR UNCLE SAM. Beaten by tough gates his past 2, he should appreciate conditions here.

SIR JULIAN (2) will find this more to his liking after finishing down the line last start behind COLT THIRTY ONE. Settling handy to the action from this gate can see him featuring in the numbers.

SELECTIONS: DOUBLEDELIGHTBRIGADE (6), RUBIES FOR TASH (8), DREAM TO SHARE (1), SIR JULIAN (2)
SUGGESTED BET: DOUBLEDELIGHTBRIGADE (6) to win

RACE TEN

It has been tucked away at the back end of the card, yet this is a highly competitive trot with winning chances across the board. Leaning to MAJESTIC SIMON (4) who has had his races well-spaced and can be versatile. Sent to the front last start as the fav from a 10m tape, he kept an even tempo in front over this trip when only grabbed late. Back to the front line can see him capitalise.

SIR FAHRENHEIT (7) has worked his way back into some form and last start was beaten a whisker after making a closing play only for NROTHERN MUSCLE to blow them all out in the last stride. That made it successive weeks he had been narrowly beaten by the same runner and he can look to turn the tables here.

IM THE COMMANDO (6) is trotting cleanly and confidently at present after a long period where his manners were hit an miss. Hitting the board at his past 7 in succession, he was only 3m away last start under mobile conditions and can feature in this.

NORTHERN MUSCLE (10) sprouted wings in the closing stages last week to arrive on the line for a classy victory over the mobile 2138m trip. Back to a 20m tape under the conditions here, he will not be far away.

SELECTIONS: MAJESTIC SIMON (4), SIR FAHRENHEIT (7), IM THE COMMANDO (6), NORTHERN MUSCLE (10)
SUGGESTED BET: MAJESTIC SIMON (4) to win
