SUPPLEMENTARY REPORTS:

EMERALD, 21st November 2015

Stewards investigated Trainer J. Manzelmann's scratching of MANZANITA from its engagement. Subject to any further submissions, a fine of $200 will be imposed under A.R. 114 for failing to scratch the horse by the prescribed time, which resulted in an emergency failing to obtain a start.

ROCKHAMPTON, Thursday 3rd December 2015

Stewards inquired into BOOMTOWN BOY leading in the event. Trainer T. Button explained that his instructions were to ride the gelding positively and be positioned where comfortable. Mr Button said that these instructions were similar to those give at its previous starts however in races with more pace. Jockey Butler explained that the horse began well and due to the lack of early pace he pushed the gelding along for a short distance at which time it obtained the lead.

Trainer T. Button informed stewards that ITHAKOS had pulled up without any abnormalities becoming apparent, however it will now be sent for a spell.

Stewards addressed with Trainer Z Hohn the condition of the hind race plates on FEELIN THE HEAT. After consideration of her explanation and the circumstances, Stewards reiterated to Ms Zohn that race plates must be in a condition fit for racing.
