Race 1: Almost Anything Web and Graphic Design Class 3 Plate - 1500 metres
1st COVENTRY 2nd GAS BURNER 3rd ALPINTORO 4th - MONSIEUR HUGHES
SEVVA NIGHTS - Slow to begin.
GAS BURNER - Slow to begin. Raced 3 wide without cover until near the 900 metres, where it assumed the lead.
COVENTRY - Near the 1200 metres raced in restricted room, raced ungenerously and had to be eased. Near the 300 metres was awkwardly placed on the heels of another runner until obtaining clear running.
MONSIEUR HUGHES - Slow to begin.
Race 2: Mel Slade Winter Prov. Stayers Series - Heat 3 BenchMark 70 Handicap - 1828 metres
1st FASTNET FLYER 2nd WHITE TURF 3rd HARADIFY 4th - LOGICAL OUTCOME
FASTNET FLYER - Began awkwardly.
SANOSUKE - Over-raced in the early stages. From the 1400 metres was allowed to stride forward, and assumed the lead near the 1200 metres. A post-race veterinary examination of the gelding revealed it to be suffering from heat stress.
Race 3: Ulton QTIS 3-Y-O Maiden Handicap - 1100 metres
1st KATCH NICCONI 2nd BAGGER MUSCLES 3rd AMBER'S GIRL 4th - HIDDEN THUNDER
HIDDEN THUNDER - Slow to begin.
DAZZA'S REWARD - Shifted out at the start, taking PEGUNNY PLAYBOY out onto CAPELLA GIRL, which was hampered and lost ground. Raced wide with cover.
PEGUNNY PLAYBOY- Taken wider by another runner at the start. A post-race veterinary examination revealed that the gelding was showing a poor post race recovery.
CAREFILLY - Raced wide with cover.
CAPELLA GIRL - Hampered and lost ground at the start.
Race 4: City Printing Works Class 1 Handicap - 1050 metres
1st MYSTIC LAD 2nd HOWZAT FOR LUCK 3rd TURKEY BEACH 4th - JUST ONE WISH
SOLO SOPRANO - Bounded in the air at the start and lost ground.
JUST ONE WISH - Jumped outwards at the start and hampered another runner.
RAGE WITHIN- Hampered at the start.
SCRATCHY - Raced 3 wide without cover throughout.
Race 5: Tropical Pool Maintenance Maiden Handicap - 1300 metres
1st THAT'S WOODY 2nd QUIET REFLECTION 3rd THE CLANG AFFAIR4th - 4th - NOVA PRIME
EASY AS PYE - Stewards ordered the late scratching, at 12.50 p.m., acting on advice that the gelding had injured itself in the float en route to the course.
TRIGGER LAD - Slow to begin. Rider dropped his whip inside the 100 metres.
WILDLING - Raced wide without cover throughout.
Race 6: Hartecs Group QTIS 2-Y-O Classic Handicap - 1100 metres
1st - UNCANNY REASON 2nd - SECURITY BELLE 3rd - PARTY PARDEE 4th - PERSISTENT SHADOW
MISTA BUSY - Stewards ordered the late scratching of the gelding, at 1.22 p.m., when the trainer advised that it had injured itself in the float en route to the course. Veterinary inspection confirmed and treatment was administered.
PERSISTENT SHADOW - Slow into stride.
VIRGIN TERRITORY - Near the 900 metres commenced to race keenly and hung outwards in the middle stages.
Race 7: Button Brothers Racing Class 1 Handicap - 1300 metres
1st STAR FURY 2nd FONDUE 3rd SAINTLY PRO 4th - CORNISH TALES
HOT LOVE HIGHWAY - Began awkwardly.
SAINTLY PRO – Jumped out at the start. Raced wide without cover.
ATLANTIS CITY - Slow to begin.
FUKU RIO - Raced wide without cover throughout.
RISE TO FAME - Slow into stride and then raced wide with cover.
TREMENT - Buffeted between runners at the start.
