This race meeting
was abandoned at 4.45pm due to a malfunction with the air-conditioning in the
kennel building.
After being
advised by the Air-condition Technician that the system could not be repaired in
a timely manner, and after taking advice from the officiating Veterinary Surgeon,
stewards made the decision to abandon the race meeting due to concerns for
animal welfare.
