Boody regarding the greyhound’s seemingly below market expectation performance.  Mr Boody stated that the greyhound was returning from a spell arising from a kennel wide sickness at his property.  In his view the greyhound did not warrant favouritism given that this was its first start returning from the spell and he did not support the greyhound himself. Mr Boody advised stewards that he expects an improved performance from DAY TIME FRIEND, and all of his greyhounds going forward.  Stewards alluded to the fact that another of Mr Boody’s greyhounds PARCHMENT performed well in race 6 on this day and Mr. Boody attributed that win to the greyhound’s favourable draw in a weaker field. Stewards noted Mr Boody’s comments.
