RACE REPORTS

 

1.

UBET – DOWNLOAD THE APP MAIDEN 331M

Even start with the exception of DEMOLISHMENT which was marginally slow to begin.  Entering the back straight ANDROID SOCIETY was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  Leaving the back straight MOJO DUK shifted out and collided heavily with BUSY BREEZE resulting in BUSY BREEZE to be severely checked and fell taking no further part in the race.  Rounding the turn into the front straight DEMOLISHMENT improved onto the heels of MASTER LODA and was checked as a consequence.  MOJO DUK raced wide rounding the turn into the front straight and again raced wide in the front straight.

 

The greyhound BUSY BREEZE underwent a post race veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found.

ZILLMERE SPORTS CLUB MAIDEN 331M

Even start with the exception of BAYOU BUZZARD and REGAL LEN which were both slow to begin.  Leaving the back straight GLORIA’S CHOICE was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  In the front straight during the latter stages of the race COLLIE ROSE HI turned its head in the direction of ULLO BELLS which was racing to its inside and failed to chase the lure with due commitment.

 

Stewards advised trainer Mr. T Thompson that the greyhound COLLIE ROSE HI would be charged under Rule 69 (A) Failing to Pursue, 2nd offence, 3 months plus a satisfactory stewards’ trial 331m all tracks.

GARRARD’S HORSE AND HOUND NOVICE FINAL 331M

Even start with the exception of JOJO BELLE which was slow to begin.  In the back straight PINK TRICK was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  Approaching the turn into the front straight PINK TRICK checked across the heels of HARA’S HORNET.

THIRTY TALKS @ STUD NOVICE 331M

PINK COLLISION and HUBCAP WILLY were best to begin.  Rounding the turn out of the back straight SPUDTASTIC improved onto the heels of KASHED UP LADY resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and lose ground.  RAVEN IZMIR and DARYL’S HOPE which were trailing were both checked as a result of this incident and raced wide.  Rounding the turn out of the back straight PATRONAS was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.

Even start with the exception of COLLECT FOUR which was marginally slow to begin and SHOW LEE DOLLARS which was slow to begin.  Entering the back straight PARIS QUEEN was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  In the back straight SENOR IZMIR was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  Rounding the turn out of the back straight DOUBLE OAK shifted out and collided with BENNETT which in turn shifted out and collided with SENOR IZMIR resulting in DOUBLE OAK to be severely checked and lose considerable ground with SENOR IZMIR and BENNETT losing ground.

 

The greyhound DOUBLE OAK underwent a post race veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the off fore leg and was stood down for a period of 28 days.

 

The greyhound SHOW LEE DOLLARS underwent a post race veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the off fore toe and was stood down for a period of 28 days.

Even start.  Rounding the turn out of the back straight BENEFICIARIES shifted out and improved onto the hindquarters of ROSE OF INDIA resulting in both greyhounds to be severely checked and lose considerable ground.  Rounding the turn into the front straight SPRING PARADE improved onto the heels of HESA REBEL and was checked as a consequence.

Even start.  Through the 1st turn KAMILAROI DUK was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  Shortly after JIGGLE SPLAT was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  Entering the front straight KAMILAROI DUK improved onto the heels of HA HA CLASSY and lost ground.

Even start.  Through the 1st turn GRAND ROSIE was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  Approaching the turn into the back straight CLASSIC CHA CHA and KAWAIT SON collided resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and lose ground.  Leaving the back straight BLACK SCORPION improved onto the heels of MAM’S MAGIC resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and lose ground.  ADHARA STEEL which was trailing was checked as a consequence and lost ground.

Even start with the exception of GEORGIA CAN DO which was marginally slow to begin.  Through the 1st turn ANOTHER RED was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  Shortly after PETER PERFECT and NINA ROSE HI were tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.

 

The greyhound PETER PERFECT underwent a post race veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the off hind foot and was stood down for a period of 28 days.
