UBET – DOWNLOAD THE APP MAIDEN 331M

FAKE NEWS, LUNA BEACH and BROTHERS BITTEN were best to begin.  CYNDIE’S ANNIE was slow to begin and will be given one more chance to begin in the required manner.  Rounding the turn out of the back straight FAKE NEWS was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.

 

The greyhound KIMARI MARIA a post race veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Stewards questioned trainer Mr. W Elson in regards to the actions of CYNDIE’S ANNIE rounding the turn into the front straight where it may have turned its head towards another runner.  After considering all evidence, Stewards could not be comfortably satisfied that CYNDIE’S ANNIE breached any rule and was given the benefit.

ASPLEY LEAGUES CLUB MAIDEN 331M

Even start.  SPECIAL GRACE failed to muster speed in the early stages of the race.  Rounding the turn out of the back straight IMA TIPPA TOO shifted out which checked the running of ASPEN VALLEY.  At the same time SPECIAL GRACE shifted out and raced wide.  In the front straight during the latter stages of the race IMA TIPPER TOO collided with ASPEN VALLEY.

 

The greyhound SPECIAL GRACE underwent a post race veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the off side pin and was stood down for a period of 7 days.

GARRARD’S HORSE AND HOUND MAIDEN FINAL 331M

Even start.  Approaching the turn out of the back straight STORY OF US checked across the heels of BLUE JAY JAY, stumbled and lost ground.  Entering the front straight NOELA’S BOY improved onto the heels of BLACK OSPREY resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and lose ground.

THIRTY TALKS @ STUD NOVICE 331M

Even start with the exception of WHITE LINE DELL, LILLY PILLY LASS and HONG HA which where were all marginally slow to begin.  Approaching the turn into the front straight LITTLE LIVEWIRE checked across heels and lost ground.  Entering the front straight LILLY PILLY LASS improved onto the heels of HELLO BREE, shifted out and collided with LITTLE LIVEWIRE resulting in all greyhounds to be checked and lose ground.

Even start with the exception of SUDOKU DOLL and GUDERA KITTYHAWK which were both slow to begin.  In the back straight SPRING RUNNER was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  Rounding the turn out of the back straight GUDERA KITTYHAWK checked off heels.

WITHCOTT HOTEL 4/5th GRADE 395M

Even start with the exception of COOPOLLY BEACH which was marginally slow to begin.  Through the 1st turn PINK AXLE, TORNEY and ARABIAN GO GO were all tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  Entering the back straight BLACK SCORPION was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  PINK AXLE which was trailing was checked as a consequence and lost ground.  Leaving the back straight TORNEY was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  BLACK SCORPION which was trailing was checked as a consequence and lost ground.  Shortly after TORNEY improved onto the heels of PINK AXLE resulting in that greyhound to be checked and lose ground.

 

The greyhound BLACK SCORPION underwent a post race veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found.  When questioned over the performance of this greyhound trainer Mr. C Kadniak reported that he was disappointed with the greyhound’s overall performance and it would be his intention to send it for a short letup.

Even start.  Through the 1st turn CREAM WHISK was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  At the same time MOCHACHINI MAN and SHAKEY TANGO were both tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  Entering the back straight MINSTREL MAN raced roughly and lost ground.  CREAM WHISK which was trialling was checked as a consequence and lost ground.

 

The greyhound minstrel man underwent a post race veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the near fore foot and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY 3/4th GRADE 395M

Even start.  Through the 1st turn INNER WISDOM, BENNETT, FABULOUS BILL and MOMENT TO SHINE were all tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  Rounding the turn out of the back straight MOMENT TO SHINE improved onto the heels of LADY OLIVIA resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and lose ground.  BENNETT which was trailing was checked as a consequence and lost ground.

 

The greyhound LADY OLIVIA underwent a post race veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found.

Even start with the exception of RALLY DRYVA and MAMMA’S BOY which were both marginally slow to begin.  Through the 1st turn QUICK AND LIVELY, RALLY DRYVA and WILD CONNECTION were all tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  COSMIC ELITE which was racing to its outside of WILD CONNECTION was checked as a consequence and lost ground.

UBET – THE NEW TAB 5th GRADE 331M

Even start.  Entering the back straight ELLY BYE BYE was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  HE’S ROWDY and PINK TRICK were checked as a result of this incident.  Rounding the turn out of the back straight NOAKI FLYER, PINK TRICK, DAISY DREAMS, HE’S ROWDY and FEARLESS DANCER were all tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground to varying degrees.  Entering the front straight DAISY DREAMS checked across heels and lost ground.

 

The greyhound DAISY DREAMS underwent a post race veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found.

 

The greyhound FEARLESS DANCER underwent a post race veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found.

THE MANLY HOTEL 5th GRADE 331M

Even start.  Entering the back straight DIAMOND JAKEY and NO LAYING BACK were both tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  Leaving the back straight DIAMOND JAKEY was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  Rounding the turn out of the back straight TRIP TO VEGAS shifted out which checked the running of CROW NULLA causing that greyhound to be checked and lose ground.  Entering the front straight CROW NULLA and NO LAYING BACK collided resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and lose ground.

 

The greyhound TRIP TO VEGAS underwent a post race veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found.  When questioned over the performance of the greyhound in particular that the greyhound raced wide leaving the back straight, trainer Mr. B Hastie stated that the greyhound had trialled on 2 occasions at Albion Park leading up to the race and he had supported the greyhound as he expected it to race well in tonight’s event.  He said that he would not  race TRIP TO VEGAS at Albion Park until he was satisfied that the greyhound can race in the desired manner.  Stewards placed a warning against TRIP TO VEGAS in regards to its racing manners.

 

The greyhound DIAMOND JAKEY underwent a post race veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the off fore foot and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

FB.COM/BRISGREYS 5th GRADE 331M

The start of this race was delayed when REGAL LEN proved difficult to box.  The greyhound will be given 1 more chance to be boxed in the correct manner.

 

FOLLOW THE DUK was best to begin.  REGAL LEN went up with the lids and was slow to begin.  Approaching the turn out of the back straight ARREBA was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.
