Stewards Trial 1 – 520m The greyhound
SPORTFAN performed a satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of 520m
in a time of 31.07 and is now cleared all tracks except Brisbane until after
27 December 2017. Stewards Trial 1 – 395m The greyhound ONE
IN SIX performed a satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of 395m in
a time of 23.07 and is now cleared all tracks except Ipswich. |

DOWNLOAD THE APP MAIDEN 520M WHIPPY
MIDGET was best to begin while MACQUIRE was slow. LOCH ME UP and MACQUIRE were checked
shortly after the start. In the front
straight BARRY BICEPS, HACIENDA and BLITZEN LEE came together and were
unbalanced. Entering the 1st
turn HACIENDA, BLITZEN LEE and LOCH ME UP raced tight causing LOCH ME UP and
BLITZEN LEE to lose ground. The
greyhound BLITZEN LEE underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no
apparent injuries were found. |

THIRTY TALKS @ STUD
NOVICE 520M Even start. At the
start WAZZA QUEEN and PROPER GENT collided and lost ground. Shortly after, PROPER GENT shifted out
colliding with BEFORE THE FIRE, which in turn shifting out and collided
heavily with KLOMPUS and both of these greyhounds lost ground. Entering the top turn SMASHNIAK ICE, DRAGON
BORN and MR. GAMBLER collided and were unbalanced causing DRAGON BORN to lose
ground. BEFORE THE FIRE that was following was inconvenienced. PROPER GENT and SMASHNIAK ICE raced wide on
the 1st turn. Leaving the 1st
turn PROPER GENT checked off heels. In
the home straight MR. GAMBLER and DRAGON BORN collided and were unbalanced. |

the start SUMMER’S PRANCER and CASEY WHISPER were tightened and momentarily
hampered. In the 1st turn
ACTUALIZE and IZY GOLD collided and were unbalanced. |

ASPLEY LEAGUES CLUB 4/5th GRADE 600M BIG BAD BOB, HARA’S SAM and MILLION DOLLAR were slow to
begin. In the 1st turn DUDE
PERFECT checked off heels. Leaving the
1st turn EMMA’S MAGIC was tightened as BIG BAD BOB shifted
in. Entering the bottom turn DUDE
PERFECT was tightened and shifted out.
In the bottom turn HARA’S SAM checked off heels. The greyhound HARA’S SAM underwent a post-race veterinary
examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

@ BRISGREYS 5th GRADE 520M RULE THE ROAD was best to begin while MURRA SHEHA was
slow. In the front straight DOLLAR AND
CENT, FROSTY BEJAY and MR. BELVEDERE collided causing DOLLAR AND CENT and
FROSTY BEJAY to lose ground and MURRA SHEHA that was following was inconvenienced
as a result. In the 1st
turn FROSTY BEJAY checked off heels.
Entering the home straight MR. BELVEDERE checked off heels. In the home straight HARA’S HOOK gave
ground. The greyhound MURRA SHEHA underwent a post-race veterinary
examination and no apparent injuries were found. The greyhound HARA’S HOOK underwent a post-race
veterinary examination, was found to have suffered an injury to the near side
hip, and was stood down for a period of 10 days. |

GARRARD’S HORSE AND HOUND 5th GRADE 520M JOHN’S LAST and BARBARA BENZ were best to begin. Shortly after the start COMETRON FLYER,
STANKY LEG and INDIAN GIVER collided and were unbalanced. In the 1st turn FROSTY AJAY,
COMETRON FLYER and INDIAN GIVER were all hampered. Leaving the 1st turn GADSBY’S ROAD
and WOOLOOGA collided and were unbalanced causing WOOLOOGA to lose ground
with STANKY LEG, INDIAN GIVER and FROSTY AJAY that were following all
inconvenienced. In the home straight
STANKY LEG and WOOLOOGA raced tight and unbalanced. Stewards had some concerns with the actions of WOOLOOGA near
the winning post, however could not be comfortably satisfied that there was
sufficient evidence to issue a charge against the greyhound. |

SKY RACING 5th
GRADE FINAL 520M WAY TO WITCHES, SNAKEY KATIE and DEL REY were best to
begin while POET SOCIETY was slow.
Entering the 1st turn FLYAWAY BARB and IT’S DYLLAN raced
tight. POET SOCIETY raced wide into
the 1st turn. Entering the
top turn WAY TO WITCHES was tightened and momentarily hampered. Entering the home straight DEL REY clipped
the heels of SISSO’S JOY and both greyhounds became unbalanced. |

3/4th GRADE 520M CHANEL BENZ began awkwardly. In the front straight BROLLY BALE shifted
out tightening PENDITA and SPLENDID STAR.
Approaching the 1st turn CHANEL BENZ, BROLLY BALE and NEED
TO TRAVEL were tightened and lost ground.
SPLENDID STAR that was following was hampered as a result. Leaving the top turn RICHMOND ROAD and
BINTANG LAURIE collided heavily causing BINTANG LAURIE to lose ground. BROLLY BALE and NEED TO TRAVEL raced tight
into the home straight. The greyhound CHANEL BENZ underwent a post-race
veterinary examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the off
fore webbing and was stood down for a period of 10 days. |

GRADE 395M BOGIE TEEJAY and BUDDY TOKAAM were best to begin. SMASHNIAK WINX was tightened at the
start. In the 1st turn
INTERACTION, FLAPPING GUMS, ALL ABOUT TIGER, BOGIE TEEJAY, MY AWESOME MAGIC
and SMASHNIAK WINX were all tightened for racing room. As a result SMASHNIAK WINX fell and took no
further part in the event. The greyhound SMASHNIAK WINX underwent a post-race veterinary
examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the off side hip and
was stood down for a period of 10 days. |

back straight BROOKE’S BUDDY was tightened and lost ground. Approaching the turn JUST LIKE YAZZA and
REAGAN TOKAAM were tightened and lost ground and BEST STRATEGY that was
following was inconvenienced. BROOKE’S
BUDDY was wide into the top turn.
Entering the home straight BEST STRATEGY shifted out and lost ground. |
