THIRTY TLAKS @ STUD NOVICE
FINAL 520M MAGIC BARB and KYELLA were best to begin with the
remainder evenly away. Entering the
turn out of the home straight MAGIC BARB and SMALL JEWEL collided causing
SMALL JEWEL to check BALLINDERRY GIRL causing that greyhound to race wide on
the turn. Entering the home straight
KYELLA shifted out, turned its head outwards making muzzle contact with
PROPER GENT causing PROPER GENT to race wide in the home straight. The greyhound MAGIC BARB a post race veterinarian
examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the near side pin and
was stood down for a period of 10 days. Stewards advised trainer Mr. C Houston that the greyhound
KYELLA that the greyhound would be charged under Rule 69 Marring, 1st
offence, 28 days plus a satisfactory stewards’ trial 520m all tracks. |

BOY to hit the running rail checking SPRITELY BILL and WOOLOOGA. On the turn out of the home straight BILLY
BOY and SPRITELY BILL collided. In the
back straight BILLY BOY was wide. On
the top turn JONESY checked off the heels of DULCAFAY. In the home straight BILLY BOY was wide. The greyhound BILLY BOY underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. The greyhound SPRITELY BILL underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the off
side pin and was stood down for a period of 7 days. |
