BARBARELLA checked off the heels of BIG HUEY, causing BARBARELLA to check
BOGAN BELLE and WILLY TOULA. In the
back straight, BARBARELLA was wide. In
the home straight, WILLY TOULA turned its head outwards and made muzzle
contact with BIG HUEY, causing BIG HUEY to check BARBARELLA. The greyhound
BLACK RUSKY underwent a post race veterinary examination and found to have
suffered an injury to the off side achilles and was stood down for a period
of 10 days. Stewards
advised trainer, Amy Donnelly, that the greyhound WILLY TOULA would be
charged under Rule 69 Marring, 1st Offence, 28 days and must
perform a satisfactory stewards’ trial at a distance of 520m, all tracks. |
