THIRTY TALKS @ STUD NOVICE (1)  - 520M

ALPHA VALENTINE was best to begin, with BAGO BYE BYE slipping when leaving the boxes, and CLASSY CASSIE slow to begin.  Approaching the turn out of the back straight, BABO BYE BYE and BACK OFF collided, causing BACK OFF to lose ground.  Rounding the turn out of the back straight, WILL EYE AM got onto the hindquarters of BACK OFF, causing both greyhounds to lose ground.  Approaching the finishing line, ALPHA VALENTINE and BAGO BYE BYE bumped.

ASSET BODY CORPORATE BRIBIE ISLAND NOVICE (2) -  520M

KENATAY was best to begin.  Approaching the 1st turn, ROUGH ODDS clipped heels and lost ground.  In the 1st turn, SHE’S SOME GAL and WONDERLAND collided, causing both greyhounds to shift out and lose ground.  In the front straight, WONDERLAND raced wide.

GARRARD’S HORSE AND HOUND MA5  -  520M

Even start.  Shortly after the start, LARA SAINT, COOKIE NO CREAM, RACK TAP RACK and DIRECT TERROR all raced tight, causing LARA SAINT to lose ground, and COOKIE NO CREAM to fall and give no further competitive part in the race.  In the 1st turn, STEVE’S JEWEL and DIRECT TERROR bumped.

 

The greyhound COOKIES NO CREAM underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

ASPLEY LEAGUES CLUB 5TH GRADE -  710M

MAGIC HORNET was best to begin.  Leaving the 1st turn, SWIFT BARB clipped heels, shifted out checking DREAM BLASTER, causing both greyhounds to lose ground.  Rounding the turn of the front straight, on the 1st occasion, MAGIC BARB and PICKLED TINK collided on numerous occasions, causing both greyhounds to be hampered.

UBET – DOWNLOAD THE APP MIXED 4/5 – 600M

 

POLLYS MAID and MAURICE MINOR were best to begin. Approaching the 1st turn HARA’S SAM and CYN’S MAGIC causing both to be hampered. Leaving the 1st turn BARCIA JEANES and LITTLE EDDIE shifted out, collided and lost ground. In the turn out of the front straight on the 1st occasion BARCIA JEANES and  LITTLE EDDIE collided and lost ground. In the front straight BARCIA JEANES turned head inwards making muzzle contact.

 

Stewards’ advised trainer, Mrs J King, that the greyhound BARCIA JEANES would be charged under Rule 69 Marring 2nd Offence, 3 months and greyhound must perform a satisfactory stewards’ trial, over a distance of 600m, all tracks.

BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY BEST 8 -  520M

BUBBLE GUPPY was best to begin, with TWO TIMES TWICE slow.  Approaching the 1st turn, ICONIC BEACH tightened for racing room and lost ground.  Approaching the 1st turn, ICONIC BEACH clipped heels and lost ground.

FABERGAS @ STUD BOGIE LEIGH FUTURITY (G2) HEAT 1 – 520M

Even start, with VELOCE NERO and SAINTY BONUS slow.  Shortly after the start, ANDA MARIE was tightened for racing room and was hampered.  Approaching the 1st turn, SAINTY BONUS clipped heels, shifted out and checked ANDA MARIE, causing all greyhounds to be hampered.  Leaving the 1st turn, ELLA ENCHANTED clipped heels, checking ANDA MARIE, SHE’S GIFTED and POWER SERVICE, causing POWER SERVICE to lose ground.  Entering the front straight, POWER SERVICE and SAINTY BONUS collided, causing SAINTY BONUS to lose ground. 

 

The greyhound SAINTY BONUS underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the near hind and was stood down for a period of 10 days

FABERGAS @ STUD BOGIE LEIGH FUTURITY (G2) HEAT 2 – 520M

WISE MISTY was best to begin.  Approaching the 1st turn, FEMME FOLLE, NIKKI NETTLE, KINGSBRAE GRANMA, PASSION BONUS and POCO DORADO collided, causing FEMME FOLLE to fall and give no further competitive part in the race, and NIKKI NETTLE and PASSION BONUS to lose ground.

 

The greyhound FEMME FOLLE underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

TWITTER @ BRISGREYS 4TH GRADE – 520M

Even start, with ARDEN STREET slow.  Shortly after the start, ADHARA STEEL was tightened for racing room and lost ground.  In the 1st turn, MAN OF LEISURE, MOMENT TO SHINE and BLUE MOON RISING collided, causing all greyhounds to be hampered.  Leaving the 1st turn, MAN OF LEISURE clipped heels and was hampered.  Rounding the turn of the front straight, HIPSTER commence to give ground in open running.

 

The greyhound HIPSTER underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the off side hock and was stood down for a period of 3 months.

 Connections of the greyhound HIPSTER, told stewards’ that they are going to retire the greyhound after the injury sustained by the greyhound.

SKY RACING 5TH GRADE (1) – 520M

CHAMPAGNE SALLY was best to begin, with SONIC THUNDER marginally slow.  In the 1st turn, SHOES TO FILL and SCIPIO AFRICANUS collided, causing both greyhounds to be hampered.  Leaving the turn out of the back straight, SCIPIO AFRICANUS and SHOES TO FILL collided on numerous occasions, causing both greyhounds to lose ground.  In the back straight, SONIC THUNDER raced wide.

TWIN GALAXY and ALL ABOUT TIGER were best to begin, with FERNANDO BONUS marginally slow.  In the 1st turn, FERNANDO BONUS and AIR TIME collided, causing both greyhounds to lose ground.  Entering the back straight, PHANTOM BONUS clipped heels and lost ground.  Entering the front straight, TWIN GALAXY and ALL ABOUT TIGER bumped.  In the front straight, VELOCITY ONYX and FERNANDO BONUS raced wide
