UBET – DOWNLOAD THE APP MAIDEN HEAT 1 – 331M

Even start, with GIFT marginally slow.  Shortly after the start, MCMATE, SUNBURNT SWAMPY, STELLAR STAR and LIGHT HEAVY collided, causing all greyhounds to lose ground at differing degrees.  Rounding the 1st turn, GIFT clipped heels and shifted out.  Rounding the turn into the home straight, LIGHT HEAVY and STELLAR STAR collided, causing both greyhounds to lose ground.

ASPLEY LEAGUES CLUB MAIDEN HEAT 2 – 331M

CARLEY BOBBY was best to begin, with COUNTRY GRENADE marginally slow.  Leaving the 1st turn, FONZIE, NEXT ONE, GALWAY BLUEBIRD collided, causing all greyhounds to lose ground, and resulting in WESTMEAD COMET to be checked and lose ground.  Entering the turn into the front straight, FONZIE clipped heels, shifted out and lost ground.  In the front straight, FONZIE raced wide.

 

The greyhound FONZIE underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the off side pin and was stood down for a period of 7 days.

GARRARD’S HORSE AND HOUND MAIDEN HEAT 3 – 331M

Race 3 was delayed by 2 minutes because of an international thoroughbred race.

 

UNIQUE AL was best to begin, with ARCTIC VILLAIN marginally slow .  Shortly after the start, REESE BOBBY and YOU TELAM CHICKY raced tight, causing both greyhounds to be hampered.  Shortly after, ARCTIC VILLAIN, REESE BOBBY and YOU TELAM CHICKY all collided, causing ARCTIC VILLAIN to hit the running rail and lose ground.  Entering the front straight, FROSTY SKY clipped heels, shifted out and lost ground.

 

The greyhound ARCTIC VILLAIN underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

THIRTY TALKS @ STUD NOVICE – 331M

ALPHA ATLAS was best to begin.  HARRY’S LEGEND marginally slow.  Shortly after the start, YOU TELAM LEWIS was tightened for racing room and lost ground.  Rounding the 1st turn, ALPHA ATLAS was checked and BRAYSTONE BEACH clipped heels, resulting in both greyhounds being hampered.  Leaving the turn out of the back straight, WILD CONNECTION, COUNTRY CRACKER and HARRY LEGEND all collided, resulting in all greyhounds to be hampered.  Rounding the turn into the front straight, WILD CONNECTION clipped heels, shifted out and checked COUNTRY CRACKER, causing both greyhounds to be hampered. At the same time, BRAYSTONE BEACH clipped heels and was hampered.  In the front straight, WILD CONNECTION and COUNTRY CRACKER bumped on numerous occasions, causing both greyhounds to lose ground. 

 

The greyhound COUNTRY CRACKER underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the near side pin and was stood down for a period of 7 days

Even start.  In the 1st turn, MIDNIGHT TO ONE clipped heels, shifted out checking ZAHARA DYE, causing both greyhounds to lose ground.   Entering the back straight, MIDNIGHT TO ONE shifted out, becoming unbalanced and checking GO SUN and LUCK MAN, causing all greyhounds to lose ground.  In the back straight, ZAHARA DYE raced wide.  In the front straight, ZAHARA DYE raced wide.

WHITHCOTT HOTEL MIXED 3/4 - 331M

MAC THE QUICK was best to begin, with EBONY SANDS slow.  Rounding the turn out of the back straight, BLUE NOT BLACK and PINK COLLISION collided, causing PINK COLLISION to lose ground.  Entering the front straight, BLUE NOT BLACK and AERIAL DYNAMITE collided, causing both greyhounds to lose ground.  In the front straight, PINK COLLISION raced wide.  Approaching the finishing line, WESTERN HONEY and EBONY SANDS bumped.

EXPAT LODGE BOARDING KENNELS MIXED 3/4 - 395M

Even start. Shortly after the start, PLUM JAM and COMETRON FLYER bumped, causing both greyhounds to be hampered.  Rounding the 1st turn, all greyhounds, except PLUM JAM and COMETRON FLYER, collided and lost ground at differing degrees.  Entering the back straight, OKA’S ANGEL was tightened for racing room and hampered.  Approaching the turn out of the back straight, COSMIC ELITE clipped heels and lost ground.  COSMIC ELITE got onto hindquarters of SAGE OF OMAHA, causing both greyhounds to lose ground.

Even start, with STUBBORN STATE and PINK IMPACT marginally slow.  Shortly after the start, STUBBORN STATE and PINK IMPACT bumped, causing both greyhounds to be hampered.  At the same time, WAIKARIE NOEL was tightened for racing room and hampered.  Rounding the 1st turn, STUBBORN STATE and WAIKARIE NOEL collided, causing both greyhounds to be hampered.  Approaching the turn out of the back straight, STUBBORN STATE and WAIKARIE NOEL collided, causing STUBBORN STATE to become unbalanced and lose ground.  Approaching the finishing line, IMA NECROMANCER and GUTENBERG bumped on numerous occasions.

BRISGREYS.COM 5TH GRADE (1) – 331M

Even start, with KAZEKO and WHINGING WILKO marginally slow.  Shortly after the start, ULLO BELLS and ODESSA collided.  Approaching the turn out of the back straight, KAZEKO commenced to give ground.  Rounding the turn out of the back straight, DIAMOND SAND clipped heels and lost ground.

 

The greyhound KAZEKO underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the near wrist and was stood down for a period of 14 days.

UBET – THE NEW TAB 5TH GRADE (2) – 331M

FANTASTIC RUFF was best to begin, with REGAL LEN and SPUDTASTIC slow.  Approaching the turn out of the back straight, SANDLER, MY FIRST PATCH, FANTASTIC RUFF, WESTERN COMET and REGAL LEN all raced tight, causing MY FIRST PATCH to lose ground and the rest to be hampered.  Rounding the turn into the front straight, REGAL LEN clipped heels and lost ground

 

Steward’s declared SPUDTASTIC hard to box for future events.

 

The greyhound REGAL LEN underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

Stewards’ question licenced trainer, Mr K Boan, on the performance of his greyhound REGAL LEN.  Mr Boan stated that this was the greyhound’s first start back from severe injury to the near hind foot, and it was up in weight.

NIGHT TERROR was best to begin, with HUBCAP WILLY slow.  Rounding the turn out of the back straight, WEE REMI raced wide.  In the front straight, WEE REMI raced wide.

 

The greyhound WEE REMI underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

Even start, with DRUID PRINCE and HAY YOU FELLA marginally slow.  Approaching the turn out of the back straight, SHADES OF BLUE, BREAD WINNER and LUNA BEACH raced tight, causing BREAD WINNER and LUNA BEACH to lose ground.  At the same time, FEAR BETTY got onto the heels of MARITANA, causing MARITANA to lose ground.   Approaching the turn into the front straight, MARITANA clipped heels and lost ground.  In the front straight, MARITANA raced wide.
