MAIDEN - 395M Even start. Approaching the turn into the front straight,
WESTMEAD COMET improved onto the heels
of TOOK A RHYNO
and momentarily hampered. The greyhound KIRRABEACH KEN underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found
to have sustained a back sprain
injury and was stood down
for a period
of 10 days . |

ASPLEY LEAGUES CLUB
NOVICE (1)- 395M Even start, with the
exception of EXTRA ROYAL which was marginally slow to begin. Approaching the
1st turn, RIPPLE RYDER and EXTRA ROYAL collide, resulting in EXTRA ROYAL to
be checked and to lose ground. Through the 1st turn, HAPPY MAIL, TOOK A
FERGUS, NEW STAR RISING and RIPPLE RYDER raced tight, resulting in all
greyhounds to be checked to varying degrees, with NEW STAR RISING and RIPPLE
losing ground. EXTRA ROYAL, which was trailing, was checked as a consequence
and lost ground. HAPPY MAIL raced wide rounding the turn out of the back
straight. Entering the front straight, EXTRA ROYAL checked across heels and
lost ground. The greyhound HAPPY
MAIL underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries
were found. The greyhound EXTRA
ROYAL underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have
sustained an injury to the off side fibula and was stood down for a period of
10 days. |

lost ground. Entering the front straight, FLASH STORY checked across heels and lost ground. |

Even start.
Shortly after the start, DAISY
DREAMS checked across
heels and lost ground. Shortly
after, DAISY DREAMS
collided with ALPHA
ULYSSES resulting in both greyhounds to be checked
and to lose ground. DAISY DREAMS commenced to give ground
rounding the turn out of the back straight. The greyhound DAISY DREAMS underwent a post -race veterinary
examination and no apparent injuries were found. Stewards'
advised trainer, Mr D Johnstone, the greyhound DAISY
DREAMS would be charged under
Rule 71 Unsatisfactory Performance and greyhound must perform a satisfactory stewards' trial, 520m all tracks . |

HORSE AND HOUND 5TH GRADE HEAT 1 – 395M Even start,
with the exception of GEORGIA CAN DO, which
was slow to begin. Through
the 1st turn,
DANCING SOLO checked
across heels and lost ground.
Entering the front
straight, GEORGIA CAN DO improved onto
the heels and lost ground. The greyhound ANOTHER
RED underwent a post race
veterinary examination and no apparent
injuries were found. |

MANLY HOTEL 4TH GRADE – 395M Even start. Shortly
after the start,
BOGAN SECRET was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.
Entering the back straight, BIG TRIGGER was tightened for racing room, checked, fell and took no further
competitive part in the race. As a result of this incident, CUTE GAMBLER, BOGAN
SECRET, MAM'S MAGIC
were all checked
and lost ground
to varying degrees. The greyhound BIG TRIGGER underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

SHADES OF BLUE

DELL collide, resulting in WHITE LINE
DELL to be checked and lose ground.
KINGSBRAE HARLEY, which
was racing to its outside, was checked as a consequence and lost ground. The greyhound BLACK
SCORPION underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries
