1.

THIRTY TALKS @ STUD MAIDEN HEAT 1 – 331M

 

REGAL JADE was best to begin, with GIFT marginally slow.  Shortly after the start, DANILO was tightened for racing room and hampered.  In the front straight, KEY FACTOR and OUTBACK MANDRAKE collided, causing both greyhounds to be hampered.

WITHCOTT HOTEL MAIDEN HEAT 2 – 331M

 

OUTBACK SHADOW was best to begin, with APACHE VILLA marginally slow.  Shortly after the start, ORANG OAK ROAD collided with MERLIN’S MAID, causing both greyhounds to lose ground.  At the same time, SMASHNIAK COMET was tightened for racing room and lost ground.  Approaching the 1st turn, SMASHNIAK COMET collided with the running rail and lost ground.  Rounding the turn, OUTBACK ILLUSION and BIG BANG TEXADA collided, causing both greyhounds to lose ground.   At the same time, ORANGE OAK ROAD shifted out colliding with MERLIN’S MAID and both greyhounds lost ground. 

 

The greyhound SMASHNIAK COMET underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the near shoulder and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY MAIDEN HEAT 3 – 331M

 

BLUE TEXADA was best to begin, with OUTBACK DESTINY slow.  In the back straight, MR. APOLLO hit the running rail and lost ground.  Rounding the 1st turn, TOP SCORE shifted out colliding with KOORINGA ZOE and MR. APOLLO causing all greyhounds to lose ground.

 

The greyhound MR. APOLLO underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

THE MANLY HOTEL NOVICE – 331M

 

FAKE NEWS was best to begin.  Leaving the 1st turn, OH SHE GLOWS clipped heels resulting in TOP VILLA and FAKE NEWS to be checked and all greyhounds to lose significant ground.

 

The greyhound OH SHE GLOWS underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

FB.COM/BRISGREYS 5TH GRADE – 331M

 

Even start, with HARRY’S LEGEND and ZIPPING MOSS marginally slow.  Shortly after the start, HARRY’S LEGEND was tightened for racing room and was hampered.  In the back straight, ZIPPING MOSS and FABTHOR collided, causing both greyhounds to lose ground.  Approaching the 1st turn, BLACKJACK BETTY clipped heels and lost ground. 

 

The greyhound FABTHOR underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the off hind back muscle and was stood down for a period of 28 days.

ASSET BODY CORPORATE BRIBIE ISLAND 5TH GRADE – 395M

 

Even start.  In the 1st turn, SAGE OF OMAHA and LAST DRINK collided, causing LAST DRINK to lose ground, and SAGE OF OMAHA to fall and give no further competitive part in the race.  In the back straight, LUCK’S GONE clipped the heels of HARA’S HORNET, causing both greyhounds to lose ground. 

 

The greyhound SAGE OF OMAHA underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

RUN KAY RUN was best to begin, with TUBBY TURNER marginally slow.  Entering the back straight, TUBBY TURNER got onto the hindquarters of CLASSY CHURCHIE, causing CLASSY CHURCHIE to lost ground and TUBBY TURNER to be hampered. 

 

The greyhound CLASSIE CHURCHIE underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the off hind leg and was stood down for a period of 7 days.

 

The greyhound TUBBY TURNER underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the near side hip and was stood down for a period of 7 days.

Even start.  In the 1st turn, GET SHORTY, STUEY and WAYNE OUTWIDE all raced tight, causing all greyhounds to lose ground.  Rounding the back straight, STUEY and WAYNE OUTWIDE bumped, causing WAYNE OUTWIDE to be hampered.  Approaching the turn out of the back straight, KLOEIS PRIDE was tightened for racing room and lost ground. 

 

The greyhound WAYNE OUTWIDE underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

 

The greyhound STUEY underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the near fore leg and was stood down for a period of 7 days.

IMA NECROMANCER was best to begin, with CORY’S DIAMOND marginally slow.  In the back straight, PRINCESS EMILY was tightened for racing room and lost ground.  Approaching the turn, GRAND ROSIE, BUDDY TOKAAM and CORY’S DIAMOND bumped.  Rounding the turn into the front straight, EVIE’S ANGEL and LADY OLIVIA bumped.  In the front straight, CORY’S DIAMOND was wide.

GUDERA SPITFIRE was best to begin, with I’M A LADY slow.  Shortly after the start, GUDERA SPITFIRE, MISSED CONTROL and ULLO BELLS all raced tight, causing MISS CONTROL to lose ground.  Approaching the turn out of the straight, I’M A LADY clipped heels and lost ground.  Rounding the turn into the front straight, I’M A LADY got onto the hindquarters of MISSED CONTROL, causing both greyhounds to lose ground.

 

The greyhound I’M A LADY underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

EXPAT LODGE BOARDING KENNELS 5PW – 331M

 

Even start, with SPUDTASTIC marginally slow.  DORRY’S DREAM was tightened for racing room and lost ground.  In the 1st turn, DORREGO clipped heels, shifted out and lost ground.  Rounding the turn into the front straight, ORACLE KATE and DORRY’S DREAM collided, causing DORRY’S DREAM to lose ground.  Entering the front straight, RACHEL TERROR turned its head inwards but did not make muzzle contact.  

 

The greyhound RACHEL TERROR underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the off side pin and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

 

The greyhound DORRY’S DREAM underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the near hind leg and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

 

Stewards’ advised trainer, Mr T Rice, the greyhound HOME LUCK would be charged under Rule 69 (b) Failing to Purse with Injury, 10 days and greyhound to perform a satisfactory stewards’ trial, over a distance of 331m, all tracks.

DUSTY’S CHANCE was best to begin, with CLASSIC CHA CHA marginally slow. shortly after the start TIARA GLOW was tightened for racing room and hampered.  Approaching the turn, FEARLESS DANCER and ZABDON LAMBO raced tight, causing FEARLESS DANCER to lose ground. Entering the front straight, PROPER TOFT clipped heels and was hampered.  

 

The greyhound FEARLESS DANCER underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.
