The greyhound BEE SOLO underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the near side hip and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

Stewards’ questioned trainer, Mr Michael Brauer, into the performance of CYNTHIA JOY, in particular its action entering the turn out of the front straight.  After reviewing the race footage, and taking into consideration the interference suffered, and that the greyhound was having its first start, stewards’ could not be comfortably satisfied that the greyhound had offended under any rule and gave it the benefit of the doubt.
