Approaching the turn out of the back straight, CHASING CLOWNS clipped
heels of QUAKER STATE, causing CHASING CLOWNS to shift out and lose ground. Rounding the turn into the back straight,
VERA CHARM and CHASING CLOWNS bumped. The
greyhound CHASING CLOWNS underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no
apparent injuries were found. |

MAIDEN HEAT 2 – 331M MUSTANG TULLY was best to begin. Shortly after the start, GLASS ONION
clipped heels and was hampered. In the
back straight, HONCHO LEADER collided with the running rail and was
hampered. Out of the back straight,
GLASS ONION collided with REBEL’S FORCE, causing both greyhounds to lose
ground. Leaving the turn out of the
back straight, TRINITY BELLE and BARB’S KUGA collided, causing both
greyhounds to run wide and lose ground.
In the front straight, TRINITY BELLE clipped heels and lost
ground. The greyhound HONCHO LEADER underwent a post-race
veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. The greyhound REBEL’S FORCE underwent a post-race
veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

start, RESTLESS TEXADA got onto the hindquarters of GEMINI FIVE, causing
GEMINI FIVE to lose ground. Leaving
the turn out of the back straight, COPY WORKSHOP was tightened for racing
room and lost ground. RESTLESS TEXADA
and GEMINI FIVE bumped. The greyhound GEMINI FIVE underwent a post-race
veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the off
side hip and was stood down for a period of 10 days. |

ground. Approaching the turn out of
the back straight, HONEY’S PRINCESS and MR. APOLLO raced tight, causing both
greyhounds to lose ground. Out of the

the hindquarters of IRONBAR RICKY, causing both greyhounds to lose
ground. Leaving the turn out of the
back straight, ARBORSTONE and WAZZA WHO collided, resulting in DANCE WITH
WOLF to be checked and all greyhounds to lose ground. In the front straight, BLACKPEARL GIRL
shifted out. |

Approaching the front straight, REGAL LEN and SMASHNIAK DOUBLE bumped. In the
front straight, HARRY’S LEGEND shifted out turning its head outwards making
muzzle contact with WHITE OX. Stewards’ advised trainer, Mr L Meteyard, the greyhound
HARRY’S LEGEND would be charged under Rule 69 Marring 1st Offence,
with the greyhound being stood down for a period of 28 days and will be
required to perform a satisfactory stewards’ trial, 331m all tracks. |
