HORSE AND HOUND NOVICE – 520M TORNADO
ALLEY was slow to begin. EBONY MIST and KATIE WHO bumped at the start.
Shortly after the start, EBONY MIST was tightened for room and checked. Approaching the 1st turn, EBONY
MIST, TORNADO ALLEY and STOP IT LACHLAN all collided, EBONY MIST and STOP IT
LACHLAN were checked. In the back straight, KATIE WHO and TORNADO ALLEY
collided, both runners were checked. Out of the back straight into the turn,
TOO GOOD JOOG was tightened for room and checked, KATIE WHO, which was
trailing, was checked. Through the
turn into the front straight, STOP IT LACHLAN and KATIE WHO bumped. |

520M RACK TAP RACK and BRIGHT SATELLITE were best to
begin. On entering the 1st
turn, EGYPTIAN MISS, FROSTY AJAY and BONKNOCKA LASS all bumped and were
hampered. Through the turn into the
back straight, DISCO DOLLY checked out across the heels of BLUE
LEMONDADE. Shortly after, FROSTY AJAY
and BONKNOCKA LASS bumped, both runners were checked. On entering the back straight, DISCO DOLLY
and EGYPTIAN MISS collided, both runners were hampered. Out of the back straight into the turn,
RACK TAP RACK was tightened for room and checked. |

THIRTY TALKS @ STUD MA5 (2) – 520M HARA’S HOOK
was slow to begin. YOU BUG ME was best
to begin. Approaching the 1st
turn, KNOCKER KNOCK improved onto heels and was hampered, HARA’S HOOK, which
was trailing, contacted the heels of KNOCKER KNOCK and shifted out. Through the turn into the back straight,
MUMMA’S HOPE checked out across the heels of HARA’S HOOK. Shortly after BLOZA
and NOOREE DESSA collided and were hampered. Out of the back straight into
the turn, PICKLED TINK collided with KNOCKER KNOCK and was checked. Through the turn into the front straight,
MUMMA’S HOPE bumped PICKLED TINK. The greyhound
PICKLED TINK underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to
have sustained an injury to the off side wrist and was stood down for a
period of 10 days. |

BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY MIXED 4/5 – 520M ROCKFORD and MAGOOLEY were slow
to begin. Shortly after the start,
SMART MARLOW, VELOCITY CHARM, RAQUEL’S MAGIC and MINSTREL MAN all collided,
SMART MARLOW and VELOCITY CHARM were hampered, and MINSTREL MAN was
checked. Approaching the 1st
turn, VELOCITY CHARM was tightened for room and checked, MAGOOLEY and SMART
MARLOW, which were trailing, collided with VELOCITY CHARM and were checked. The greyhound SMART MARLOW
underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were
found. |

to varying degrees. Approaching the 1st
turn, CYN’S MAGIC checked out across the heels of TRUTH PREVAILS and collided
with DAHOMEY WINDSONG. Through the turn into the back straight, TRUTH
PREVAILS checked out across heels and collided with SNUG, which was
checked. CYN’S MAGIC was tightened for
room and checked. |

Shortly after the start, DEL REY was tightened for room and checked.
Approaching the 1st turn, BENALI was tightened for room, checked
out across the heels of BUBBLE GUPPY and collided with FRIDA MONELLI, which
in turn shifted out and collided with SLICK, which fell and took no further
part in the event. Out of the turn into the back straight, TROUPER MONELLI
bumped GO LASSIE GO, which was checked. The greyhound SLICK underwent a post race veterinary
examination and no apparent injuries were found. The greyhound FRIDA MONELLI underwent a post race
veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

CHAIRMAN’S CUP FINAL
OPEN – 710M CHAMPAGNE SALLY and MAGIC HORNET were best to begin. SHERBINI was slow go begin. Shortly after
the start, SHOES TO FILL contacted the heels of DOUBLE GEE, which was
checked. On entering the 1st turn, EBBY RIPPER was tightened for
room and checked. MAGIC HORNET was tightened for room and checked out across
the heels of CHAMPAGNE SALLY. Through the turn into the front straight,
DOUBLE GEE raced in restricted room, shifted out and bumped JALAPENO to
obtain clear running. In the front straight on the final occasion, SMOOTH
CLAUDIA turned its head outwards and made muzzle contact with SHOES TO FILL. Stewards’ advised trainer, Mr R Cooke, the greyhound
SMOOTH CLAUDIA would be charged under Rule 69 Marring 1st Offence,
with the greyhound suspended from racing at the track where the offence
occurred (28 days) and until the completion a satisfactory stewards’ trial. |

WINTER CUP OPEN (G1) FINAL – 520M JURY was best to begin. MEPUNGA BLAZER was slow to begin. CATCH ME
CURLY and CODRINGTON KID bumped at the start. Shortly after the start, CATCH
ME CURLY was tightened for room and checked. GUNNADOO REV collided with CODRINGTON
KID and was checked. Approaching the 1st turn, CATCH ME CURLY was
tightened for room, checked, and collided with NOT AVAILABLE which shifted in
and bumped GUNNADOO REV, both runners were checked. Shortly after, GUNNADOO REV was tightened
for room and collided with the running rail. Through the turn into the back
straight, GUNNADOO REV sustained and injury and took no further competitive
part in the event. On entering the back straight MEPUNGA BLAZER began to give
ground and proved uncompetitive for the remainder of the event. Out of the
back straight into the turn, IT’S DYLLAN was tightened for room and checked.
Through the turn into the front straight, CODRINGTON KID was tightened for
room and checked. The greyhound
MEPUNGA BLAZER underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to
have sustained an injury to the off hind back muscle and was stood down for a
period of 28 days. The greyhound
GUNNADOO REV underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to
have sustained an injury to the off hind back muscle and was stood down for a

checked. On entering the 1st
turn, SYFY HERO, CAN’T POSSIBLY, DANCE AND SING and JOHN’S LAST all collided,
all runners, except SYFY HERO, were checked. Through the turn into the back
straight, PLANE SPOTTER, WILDASH CECIL and DANCE AND SING all collided and
were checked. Through the turn into
the front straight, PLANE SPOTTER improved onto the heels of CAN’T POSSIBLY
and was hampered. The greyhound
WILDASH CECIL underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to
have sustained an injury to the off hind hip and was stood down for a period
