ASSET BODY CORPORATE BRIBIE ISLAND MAIDEN HEAT 1 – 395M

 

MOSCOW MULE was best to begin, I’M HERE was marginally slow.  Shortly after the start, HAY TRAVY and DANILO bumped, causing HAY TRAVY to become unbalanced and DANILO to lose significant ground.  Approaching the turn out of the back straight, HAY TRAVY commenced to yield ground.  I’M HERE raced wide through the turn out of the back straight, and continued wide for the remainder of the race.  FONZIE was inconvenienced by HAY TRAVY yielding ground, and lost ground as well.   Leaving the turn into the front straight, HOPE SAID raced out towards I’M HERE turning its head toward that greyhound as it did. 

 

The greyhound HOPE SAID underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the off side pin and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

 

The greyhound HAY TRAVY underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the off side wrist and near hip and was stood down for a period of 14 days.

 

Stewards’ advised trainer, Ms C Elson, the greyhound HOPE SAID would be charged under Rule 69B Failing to Pursue with Injury, with a stand down period imposed for 14 days and greyhound to perform satisfactory stewards’ trail prior to racing.

ASPLEY LEAGUES CLUB MAIDEN HEAT 2 – 395M

 

HARA’S SURF, BOSS BOSS and MISS EMMY were all marginally slow to begin.  In the 1st turn, FARMOR KA CHING was tightened for racing room and lost ground.  Leaving the 1st turn into the back straight, MAM SAID checked off heels, became severely unbalanced and lost significant ground as a result.  Approaching the turn out of the back straight, SOX THE FOX was tightened for racing room checked off heels and lost ground.  MISS EMMY raced wide through the turn into the front straight, and continued wide for the remainder of the race.

EXPAT LODGE BOARDING KENNELS MAIDEN HEAT 3– 395M

 

NOIRE DREAM, FLYWHEEL TOMMY and FANTA POP were all marginally slow to begin.  At the 1st turn, MY LOCKY BOY was tightened for racing room and commenced to yield ground shortly after, taking no further competitive part in the race.  HARA’S HOGAN raced wide through the turn out of the back straight, and continued wide through the turn into the front straight.  FROSTY BLACK JAY raced wide through the turn into the front straight. 

 

The greyhound MY LOCKY BOY underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the off side pin and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

THIRTY TALKS @ STUD NOVICE (1) – 395M

 

SMILING BLONDE and FARMOR ON FIRE were best to begin, KINGSBRAE CAROL, ELLINGTON and NIKOLUCKY were all marginally slow.  In the 1st turn, SMILING BLONDE and CYNDIE WHO bumped, causing both greyhounds to lose momentum.  MISS BECKBOO raced wide through the turn into the front straight.

GARRARD’S HORSE AND HOUND NOVICE (2) – 395M

 

NANNY WHO was best to begin, INOUNO was slow.  Approaching the 1st turn, SNOWBALL SHIRL and EBONY MIST checked, causing EBONY MIST to lose ground.  HOOT, which was trailing, collided into EBONY MIST and lost considerable ground.  Leaving the turn into the back straight, INOUNO checked off heels and lost ground.  Approaching the turn out of the back straight, FARMOR HEAT checked off heels and lost considerable ground.  Leaving the turn into the front straight, HOOT shifted out and checked into SNOWBALL SHIRL.

THE MANLY HOTEL 5TH GRADE HEAT 1 – 395M

 

BROKE EVEN was best to begin, ZIPPING MOSS was slow.  Approaching the 1st turn, TOOKA TRIP, FARMOR IN TUNE and BULLSEYE DOUBT were all tightened for racing room and lost ground.  Leaving the 1st turn into the back straight, KATIE WHO shifted in causing SHESA DRATTA to be tightened for racing room and fall.  ZIPPING MOSS, which was trailing, collided into SHESA DRATTA and was severely inconvenienced, losing substantial ground as a consequence.  Approaching the turn out of the back straight, KATIE WHO came into contact with the running rail, became unbalanced and lost ground.

 

The greyhound KATIE WHO underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

 

The greyhound SHESA DRATTA underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

 

The greyhound ZIPPING MOSS underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY 5TH GRADE  HEAT 2 – 520M

 

REGAL JADE and FARMOR IN TIME were both best to begin.  BLACK DRATTA was marginally slow.  Shortly after the start, KINGSBRAE GRANMA was tightened for racing room, became unbalanced and lost ground.  At the 1st turn, WAZZA WHO, TRY COMB, MAY ROAD and IMMA CALLIM KLAY came together and checked, with all losing momentum as a result.  Leaving the turn out of the back straight, BLACK DRATTA was tightened for racing room, became severely unbalanced and lost considerable ground as a result. 

 

The greyhound BLACK DRATTA underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

JOHN’S LAST was best to begin.  LION’S BLUE began awkwardly and was slow as a result.  Approaching the 1st turn, YEAH OKAY was tightened for racing room, shifted out and checked into NEW STAR RISING and PITTSBURGH PHIL, which were racing to its outside, causing all three greyhounds to become unbalanced and lose ground.  Approaching the turn into the back straight, NEW STAR RISING checked off heels and lost ground.  Approaching the turn out of the back straight, PITTSBURGH PHIL was tightened for racing room and lost momentum.  YEAH OKAY raced wide through the turn out of the back straight.   Leaving the turn into the front straight, GEORGIE MAC was tightened for racing room and lost momentum.

GO LASSIE GO was best to begin.  Leaving the turn into the back straight, BARRA TRIP was tightened for racing room and lost ground.  Shortly after, SIR TO YOU commenced to yield ground and took no further competitive part in the race thereafter. 

 

The greyhound SIR TO YOU underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the off side hock and was humanely euthanised.

FABERGAS @ STUD 4TH GRADE – 395M

 

NAUGHTY MAX was best to begin, EXPONENTIAL and KIM OSTI were both marginally slow.  Immediately after the start, EXPONENTIAL improved onto the rear of IRONBAR RICKY, stumbled and became severely unbalanced, losing ground as a result.  At the 1st turn, MISS THICKSHAKE checked off heels and lost ground.  Leaving the 1st turn, EXPONENTIAL shifted out checking into KIM OSTI, causing KIM OSTI to lose considerable ground as a result.  In the back straight, MISS THICKSHAKE was tightened for racing room and stumbled.  EXPONENTIAL raced wide through the turn into the front straight.

 

The greyhound MISS THICKSHAKE underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

 

The greyhound EXPONENTIAL underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

MUSTANG TULLY was best to begin, TRAV SAID, HARA’S REBEL and TEN GALLON HAT were all marginally slow.  At the 1st turn, YOUI was tightened for racing room and lost momentum.  Approaching the turn out of the back straight, YOUI was tightened for racing room and lost momentum.  TRAV SAID and WHITE LINE DELL raced tight and bumped prior to the finish.
