Race 1 – GARRARD’S HORSE AND HOUND NOVICE – 520M

 

BEE SOLO was slow to begin.  Shortly after the start, WAZZA QUEEN was tightened for room and checked.  BEE SOLO, which was trailing, was inconvenienced as a consequence.  Approaching the turn out of the back straight, PROPOSAL faltered and commenced to lose ground with the field.  Rounding the turn out of the back straight, BEE SOLO and UNIQUE LEIGH were tightened for room and checked. Shortly after UNIQUE LEIGH made contact with the running rail and was checked. WAZZA QUEEN, which was trailing, was checked as a consequence. Approaching the turn into the home straight, FELICI BEACH checked off heels.  Rounding the turn out of the home straight, BEE SOLO checked off heels and collided with FELICI BEACH, resulting in both runners to lose ground. 

 

The greyhound UNIQUE LEIGH underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the near hind toe and was stood down for a period of 21 days.

 

The greyhound PROPOSAL underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the offside pin muscle and was stood down for a period of 21 days.

 

Race 2 – UBET TAPPY 5TH GRADE – 710M

 

Shortly after the start, VISIGOTH and LOZZA’S TROUBLE were tightened for room and momentarily hampered.  Entering the turn out of the back straight on the first occasion, RIPPIN’ BARTEL checked off heels and lost ground.  Rounding the turn into the front straight on the first occasion, BRITTANY TALKS checked off heels. 

 

Race 3 – THIRTY TALKS @ STUD 5TH GRADE (1) – 520M

 

SPOOKY SENSATION was marginally slow to begin.  Shortly after the start, PHANTOM PETE was tightened for room and hampered.  Approaching the first turn, BLITZEN LEE was tightened for room and checked.  SPOOKY SENSATION and PHANTOM PETE, which were trailing, were checked as a consequence.  Rounding the turn into the back straight, PHANTOM PETE checked off heels.

 

The greyhound SPOOKY SENSATION underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 4 – BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY MA5 (1) – 520M

 

KALANI KARL was marginally slow to begin.  Shortly after the start, TINY TIARA and ALLPA MAMA bumped and were hampered.  Entering the first turn, TINY TIARA was tightened for room and checked.  Rounding the turn into the back straight, REPTAR was tightened for room and hampered.  DISCO DOLLY, which was trailing, was hampered as a consequence.  Entering the turn out of the back straight, REPTAR was tightened for room and checked.  DISCO DOLLY, which was trailing, was checked, shifted outwards, and collided with TINY TIARA, resulting in that runner to lose significant ground.

 

Race 5 – ASSET BODY CORPORATE BRIBIE ISLAND MA5 (2) – 520M

 

ARDEN STREET was slow to begin.  Approaching the first turn, BLOZA was tightened for room and checked.  TURN AND BURN, which was trailing, checked outwards to avoid that runner’s heels and bumped with ARDEN STREET, resulting in that runner to be momentarily hampered.  Approaching the turn into the back straight, BONKNOCKA LASS and WAHWAH TIGGY collided, resulting in both runners to be checked and lose ground.  Entering the back straight, BLOZA checked off heels.  Throughout the back straight, BONKNOCKA LASS and WAHWAH TIGGY bumped on a number of occasions and lost ground as a consequence.  Entering the turn out of the back straight, BONKNOCKA LASS was tightened for room and hampered. 

 

The greyhound BONKNOCKA LASS underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the left eye and was stood down for a period of 7 days.

 

Race 6 – EXPAT LODGE BOARDING KENNELS 5TH GRADE (2) – 520M

 

Shortly after the start, IZY GOLD was tightened for room, severely checked and lost considerable ground.  Entering the first turn, OGODEI STAR and MR. BELVEDERE collided and were checked as a consequence.  QUITE SINCERE and BIG TURLS, which were trailing, were checked and shifted out wider on the turn as a consequence.  Approaching the turn into the back straight, OGODEI STAR checked off heels.  Entering the back straight, BIG TURLS was tightened for room and momentarily hampered. 

 

Race 7 – FABERGAS @ METICULOUS LODGE 5TH GRADE (3) – 520M

 

In the front straight on the first occasion, BILLY BOY was tightened for room and checked.  Approaching the first turn, PITTSBURG PHIL was tightened for room and checked.  Shortly after, RULE THE ROAD and CHIEF SNOW bumped and shifted out wider on the turn.  Rounding the turn into the back straight, SNOWBALL OTTO collided with PITTSBURGH PHIL, resulting in both runners to be checked. 

 

Race 8 – GREYHOUND ADOPTION PROGRAM 4TH GRADE – 520M

 

GET MESSI began awkwardly and was slow to begin.  Entering the turn out of the front straight, SOFT SAND bumped with BRIGHT SATELLITE, resulting in that runner to be checked and shift out wider on the turn as a consequence.  In the back straight, SOFT SAND checked off heels.  Rounding the turn out of the back straight, CODRINGTON KID bumped with FAB FIT, resulting in that runner to be checked and to lose ground.  INDIAN GIVER, which was trailing, was hampered as a consequence. 

 

Race 9 – TWITTER @ BRISGREYS BEST 8 – 520M

 

SMART MARLOW began awkwardly and was slow to begin.  Entering the first turn, DAHOMEY WINDSONG was tightened for room and checked.  Entering the turn out of the back straight, WHEATACRE was tightened for room and was checked.  DAHOMEY WINDSONG, which was trailing, was hampered as a consequence. 

 

Race 10 – UBET DOWNLOAD THE APP 5TH GRADE – 600M

 

Through the turn into the front straight on the first occasion, DREAM BLASTER, DAB LIVY DAB and DOUBLE GEE were all tightened for room and checked to varying degrees.  DAB LIVY DAB lost considerable ground as a result of this interference.  Entering the turn out of the back straight, DREAM BLASTER was tightened for room and was checked.  Rounding the turn into the home straight, DOUBLE GEE collided with EMMA’S MAGIC resulting in both runners to be checked.   GOT THERE, which was racing to their outside, was inconvenienced as a result of this incident.

 

Race 11 – BRISGREYS.COM MA5 (3) – 520M

 

In the front straight on the first occasion, NOOREE DESSA was tightened for room and hampered.  Entering the 1st turn, ONE DOLLAR and COSMO CYNDIE were tightened for room and checked.  NOOREE DESSA, which was trailing, was hampered as a consequence.  Approaching the turn out of the back straight, DOLLAR AND CENT was tightened for room and severely checked.  NOOREE DESSA, which was trailing, was checked as a consequence.
