Other Comments / Explanations: Due to Government advice around COVID-19, in accordance with GAR 51(10), the Stewards directed the Starter to box the greyhounds into the starting boxes in the following order, 1 & 5, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8 for all races.
Race 1 - SKY RACING MAIDEN 2 395m 1 Magical Rose- Quick to begin. 2 Tessie Desilver- Collided with another runner entering the first turn and was checked. 3 O'rourke- Collided with another runner entering the first turn and was checked. Tightened for room in the back straight and severely checked. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed no significant findings. Stewards requested Mr. Hancock inform the stewards pursuant to GAR75(2) should anything that might have a bearing on past or future running of O’rourke come to notice of the trainer after the greyhound has left the course, it shall be reported to the stewards as soon as practicable. 4 Birkdale Barista- Inconvenienced in running through the turn out of the back straight. 5 Silver Ticket- Marginally slow to begin. Checked off heels shortly after the start. 6 Rattie's Son- Collided with another runner in the back straight and was severely checked. 7 Columbian King- Collided with another runner entering the first turn and was checked. 9 (Box8) Celtic King- Shifted out to avoid heels entering the home straight.
Race 2 – SELL YOUR CAR @ MOTORHUB MAIDEN FINAL MAIDEN 2 395m 1 Cyclone Rocket- Collided with another runner in the back straight and was checked 2 Kalang Beach- Collided with another runner entering the home straight and was checked. 3 Church Mouse- Quick to begin. 4 Venus Alive- Stewards spoke to Mrs. K Hoggan, the trainer of Venus Alive, regarding the greyhound's racing manners entering the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Venus Alive was charged with marring and is suspended for a period of 28 days at Albion Park and must perform a Satisfactory Trial, pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted. 6 Reckless Beauty- Bumped another runner through the first turn and was checked. 8 Hara's Smokey- Slow to begin.
Race 3 – GARRARD'S HORSE AND HOUND NOVICE (1) 2 395m 3 Hara's Bacon- Checked shortly after the start. 5 Trounced- Quick to begin. 6 Little Turbo- Collided with another runner in the back straight and was checked. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed no significant findings. Stewards requested Mr. Hagicostas inform the stewards pursuant to GAR75(2) should anything that might have a bearing on past or future running of Little Turbo come to notice of the trainer after the greyhound has left the course, it shall be reported to the stewards as soon as practicable. 8 Paint Nova- Slow to begin. Collided with another runner through the first turn and was checked. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the request of trainer Mr. M Pearce, after retrieving Paint Nova from the kennelling area prior to leaving the race track and noticing the greyhound being slightly lame. Veterinary examination revealed an injury to the offside pin muscle and was stood down from racing for 7 days.
Race 4 – ASSET BODY CORPORATE BRIBIE ISLAND NOVICE (2) 2 395m 1 Perfidia- Quick to begin. 4 Here I Am- Collided with another runner in the back straight and was checked. 5 Girl Like Her- Collided with another runner in the back straight and was checked. 6 Spasmodic Star- Collided with another runner in the back straight and was checked 8 Crafty Caza- Raced wide through the turn out of the back straight.
Race 5 – EXPAT LODGE 5PW 2 395m 1 Run With Girl- Shifted in immediately after the start. 2 No More Cake- Raced wide in the back straight. 3 Golly Goodness- Quick to begin. 4 Dame Esmerelda- Slow to begin. 5 Kid Sunrise- Collided with another runner through the first turn and was checked. Collided with another runner through the turn out of the back straight and was checked. 7 Ringbark Rose- Collided with another runner through the first turn and was checked. Collided with another runner through the turn out of the back straight and was checked. 8 Blackened- Hampered in the back straight when forced wider on the track.
Race 6 – BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY MIXED 4/5 2 395m Was declared a No Race by stewards after the boxes open prematurely. Race 7 – FABREGAS @ METICULOUS LODGE 5TH GRADE FINAL GRADE 5 2 395m 1 Dynamo Waz- Collided with another runner entering the turn out of the back straight and was checked. 3 Sam's Way- Quick to begin. 7 Rimini- Collided with another runner entering the turn out of the back straight and was checked. 10 (Box 6) Wild Lilly- Bumped with another runner through the first turn and was checked. Inconvenienced when entering the turn out of the back straight.
Race 8 – THIRTY TALKS @ STUD GRADE 5 3 520m 1 Hammer Down- Quick to begin. 4 Ricolina Girl- Collided with another runner approaching the first turn and was checked. 7 Cyndie's Out- Collided with another runner approaching the first turn and was severely checked causing the greyhound to fall. Trailed field for remainder of event. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed no significant findings. Stewards requested Mr. Elson inform the stewards pursuant to GAR75(2) should anything that might have a bearing on past or future running of Cyndie’s Out come to notice of the trainer after the greyhound has left the course, it shall be reported to the stewards as soon as practicable. 8 Elegant Eleanor- Bumped shortly after the start. Collided with another runner approaching the first turn and was checked. 9 (Box 3) Eight Greeen Cans- Was tightened for racing room through the turn out of the back straight.
Race 9 – TAB - LONG MAY WE PLAY BEST 8 2 395m General- After further testing of the automatic operation of the starting boxes, stewards ordered the 395m starts be operated using the manual lever. 1 Redeal- Quick to begin. 2 Shaggy Rose- Marginally slow to begin. 6 Blue Print- Marginally slow to begin.
Race 10 – FAST TIMES @ SIRES ON ICE GRADE 5 2 395m General- After further testing of the automatic operation of the starting boxes, stewards ordered the 395m starts be operated using the manual lever. 1 Candy Sparkles- Quick to begin. 3 Beau's Image- Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and was passed fit to race. Bumped with another runner in the back straight and was checked. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed no significant findings. Stewards requested Mr. L Topping inform the stewards pursuant to GAR75(2) should anything that might have a bearing on past or future running of Beau’s Image come to notice of the trainer after the greyhound has left the course, it shall be reported to the stewards as soon as practicable. 5 Queen Supreme- Quick to muster. 7 Pardoo Magic- Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and was passed fit to race. 8 Ringbark Clancy- Slow to begin.
Race 11 – BRISGREYS.COM BEST 8 2 331m 6 White Ox- Bumped by another runner in the back straight. Weakened over the concluding stages of the event. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed no significant findings. Stewards requested kennel representative Mr. J Brandt inform the stewards pursuant to GAR75(2) should anything that might have a bearing on past or future running of White Ox come to notice of the trainer after the greyhound has left the course, it shall be reported to the stewards as soon as practicable. 7 Just Don't Know- Slow to begin. 8 Senor Dylan- Was tightened for room in the back straight and severely checked.
Race 12 – TWITTER @BRISGREYS MIXED 4/5 2 331m 1 Hope's Heist- Quick to begin. 3 Maywyn's Zephyr- Marginally slow to begin.
