Other Comments / Explanations:

Due to Government advice around COVID-19, in accordance with GAR 51(10), the Stewards directed the Starter to box the greyhounds into the starting boxes in the following order, 1 & 5, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8 for all races

 

Race 1 - SKY RACING MAIDEN 520m

1 Elusive Ripple- Quick to begin.

2 Ginger Ginger- Bumped another runner immediately after the start. Bumped another runner entering the home straight.  

4 Thursday Shiraz- Quick to begin.  

5 Funny Honey- Collided with another runner entering the first turn and forced wider on the track losing considerable ground.

6 Betty Jo- Raced wide into the first turn.

8 Idle High- Slow to begin. Checked off heels through the first turn. Tightened for room through the turn out of the back straight and was inconvenienced. Bumped another runner entering the home straight.  

9 (Box 3) Zabdon Opium- Collided with another runner immediately after the start and was checked.  

 

Race 2 – WWW.BRISGREYS.COM NOVICE 520m

1 Magical Rose- Quick to begin.  

4 Cherry Wine- Contacted the heels of a weakening runner through the first turn and was checked.   

5 Wildash Macie- Tightened for room approaching the first turn and was checked.

6 Stylish Suzie- Tightened for room entering the first turn and was checked. Commenced to give ground through the first turn and trailed the field. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed an injury to the offside hip support and was stood down for a period of 28 days. Acting under the provisions of GAR20(3)(v) stewards ordered a Veterinary certificate for Stylish Suzie be produced before any future nominations be excepted.

7 Fab Femme- Tightened for room entering the first turn and was checked.

 

Race 3 – TAB - LONG MAY WE PLAY MIXED 4/5 520m

1 Regal Jade- Bumped another runner approaching the first turn.  

2 Lucky Jock- Bumped another runner approaching the first turn.  

3 Isnt She Special- Tightened for room entering the first turn and was hampered.  

7 Javen- Collided with another runner through the first turn and was checked.

 

Race 4 – FAST TIMES @ SIRES ON ICE

2 Emmaville Star- Collided with another runner through the turn into the front straight on the first occasion and was checked. Collided with another runner entering the front straight on the first occasion and was checked. Checked entering the turn out of the front straight.

3 Good Vibrations- Slow to begin. Bumped another runner entering the front straight on the first occasion and was checked.

6 Junior Jet- Inconvenienced through the turn into the front straight. Checked entering the turn out of the front straight.

7 Smart Cha Cha- Quick to begin. Had its hindquarters contacted through the turn into the front straight on the first occasion and was severely checked. Checked entering the turn out of the front straight. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed an injury to the off hind leg and was stood down for a period of 7 days.

8 Shilo- Carried wider on the track by inside runner entering the front straight on the first occasion.

 

Race 5 – ZILLMERE SPORTS CLUB R5 (2) 600m

1 Whiter Shade- Collided with another runner through the turn into the front straight on the first occasion and was checked. Eased and turned its head inwards through the turn into the home straight. Turned its head inwards and made muzzle contact with another runner over the concluding stages of the event. Stewards spoke to Mrs Griffin, the trainer of Whiter Shade, regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Whiter Shade was charged with marring and is suspended for a period of 28 days at Albion Park and must perform a Satisfactory Trial, pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

2 Angelic Blue-  Collided with another runner through the turn into the front straight on the first occasion and was checked.  

3 Uno Uno- Quick to begin.  

4 Lil Bit Foxy- Slow to begin. Contacted the heels of another runner entering the turn out of the back straight and was checked. Checked entering the home straight.    

5 Misty Haze- Had its heels contacted and was severely checked when entering the turn out of the back straight.  

7 Where's The Ruby- Collided with another runner through the turn into the front straight on the first occasion and was checked. Checked when racing through the turn out of the back straight. Bumped with another runner over the concluding stages of the event.  

 

Race 6 – GARRARD'S HORSE AND HOUND NMW 520m

1 Queen Supreme- Quick to begin.

3 Hara’s Olaf- Contacted the heels of another runner entering the back straight.

4 Alpine Flight- Had its heels contacted entering the back straight. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed an injury to the off hind foot and was stood down for a period of 10 days.    

 

Race 7 – THIRTY TALKS @ STUD GRADE 5 520m

1 Last Drink- Collided with another runner entering the back straight and was checked. Checked entering the turn out of the back straight.    

2 Zudactyl Monelli- Commenced to shorten stride approaching the first turn. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed an injury to the off hind back muscle and was stood down for a period of 28 days. Acting under the provisions of GAR20(3)(v) stewards ordered a Veterinary certificate for Zudactyl Moneli be produced before any future nominations be excepted. Mr Campbell told stewards that he intends on retiring Zudactyl Monelli.  

3 Turanza Tiger- Collided with another runner approaching the first turn and was checked.  Checked entering the turn out of the back straight. Collided with another runner entering the back straight and was checked.

4 Uno John- Collided with another runner entering the back straight and was checked. Checked entering the turn out of the bac straight.     

7 Stormy Shari- Quick to begin.

 

Race 8 – EXPAT LODGE 5TH GRADE FINAL GRADE 5 520m

1 Magical Cyndie- Quick to begin. Tightened for room approaching the turn out of the back straight and was checked. Bumped with another runner entering the home straight.   

2 Kisses For Cloda- Slow to begin. Hampered approaching the first turn.  

4 Xella Angel- Tightened for room and checked out across heels when racing through the turn into the home straight.

7 Townson Beach- Slow to begin. Raced wide throughout.  

 

Race 9 – ASSET BODY CORPORATE BRIBIE ISLAND BEST 8 395m

1 Wildash Jakey- Quick to begin.

2 Wazza Who- Slow to begin. Hampered through the first turn. Carried wider on the track in the back straight by the runner to its inside. Commenced to give ground in the back straight. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed an injury to the off hind back muscle and was stood don for a period of 28 days. Acting under the provisions of GAR20(3)(v) stewards ordered a Veterinary certificate for Wazza Who be produced before any future nominations be excepted.  

4 Tarks Tammy Rose- Raced wide in the back straight.  

5 One Mumma- Bumped shortly after the start.

8 So Crazy- Collided with another runner through the first turn and was severely checked.

 

Race 10 – BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY MA5 395m

1 Rockford- Tightened for room through the first turn, collided with another runner and was checked.  

3 Smashniak Winx- Had its heels contacted racing through the first turn. Had its heels contacted in the home straight and was checked. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed no significant findings. Stewards requested Mr. Kadniak inform the stewards pursuant to GAR75(2) should anything that might have a bearing on past or future running of Smashniak Winx come to notice of the trainer after the greyhound has left the course, it shall be reported to the stewards as soon as practicable.   

4 Regal Emerald- Collided with another runner through the first turn and was checked.  

5 Elusive Fancy- Collided with another runner in the back straight, checked and lost ground. Underwent a post veterinary exanimation which revealed an injury to the near hind toe and was stood down for a period of 28 days. Acting under the provisions of GAR20(3)(v) stewards ordered a Veterinary certificate for Elusive Fancy be produced before any future nominations be excepted.

6 White Eagle- Quick to begin.  

7 Outback Mandrake- Checked off heels entering the home straight.

8 Coopes- Very slow to begin. Wide throughout. Stewards spoke to kennel representative Mr. S Scott regarding the performance of Coopes at the start. Mr. Scott stated that Coopes is a highly excitable greyhound and has a tendency to raise up and down in the starting boxes. This behaviour causes Coopes to be intermittently slow away, however never to the severity of tonight’s event. Mr Scott further stated that this behaviour tends to worsen as the greyhound is drawn in later races. The kennel was confident in Coopes’s winner chances in the event and was subsequently disappointed. Stewards noted this explanation and took no further action.

1 Exclusive Chloe- Quick to begin.  

5 Georgie Mac- Collided with another runner through the first turn and was checked.  

7 Summer's Queen- Collided with another runner through the first turn and was checked.  

 

Race 12 – BRISGREYS ON INSTAGRAM GRADE 5 395m

1 Summer's Flyer- Quick to begin. Bumped with another runner in the back straight. Raced wide in the home straight.  

2 Pittsburgh Phil- Collided with another runner through the first turn and was checked. Bumped the running rail entering the turn out of the back straight.   

3 Wild Fantasy- Quick to begin. Bumped with another runner in the back straight

4 Wild Lilly- Contacted the heels of another runner entering the back straight and was checked. Collided with another runner through the turn out into the home straight. Collided with another runner through the turn out into the home straight.   

5 Lombardy- Collided with another runner through the first turn and was checked.

6 Zulu Plastique- Collided with another runner through the first turn and was checked.

7 Easy Al- Collided with another runner through the first turn and was checked. Collided with another runner through the turn out into the home straight.
