Stewards Trial 1 – 460m

The greyhound MIDNIGHT HAYZE performed a satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of 460m in a time of 26.78 and is now cleared all tracks.

UNCLE RUSTY’S SIGNS MAIDEN 460M SHAYLOR RENE was best to begin with SHILAS MARLOW last away. GLAMOROUS CAMBLA, NOTRE CAMBLA and WILBY GRAND raced tight at the 1st corner, with WILBY GRAND getting checked on occasion. CAMBLA DRUMMER and AGENDA raced tight down the back straight and AGENDA was checked shortly after. AGENDA checked off the back of SHAYLOR RENE as it tried to pass it on the home corner.

BUNDY BOWL AND LEISURE NOVICE 460M ALLY PALLY KEATS was best to begin with BLIZZARD BLITZ last away. BLIZZARD BLITZ, HYPNOTISE EYES and ELLAS LOLLIEPOP all raced tight at the 1st corner. ELLAS LOLLIEPOP checked off the back of BLIZZARD BLITZ racing past the catching pen. FAST AND SERIOUS checked off the back of SPIFFY approaching the back corner. ALLY PALLY KEATS, FAST AND SERIOUS, SPIFFY, CIA KAHN and BLIZZARD BLITZ all raced tight at the home corner. BLIZZARD BLITZ raced wide down the home straight.

3.	THE CHOP SHOP NOVICE 460M GUDERA KITTYHAWK was first away, ROCKETS ANGEL was last away. CAMBLA DARLING and MY MOJO come together at the 1st corner. GUDERA KITTYHAWK began to slow from the home corner onwards.

4.	LINDSAY MCCARTHY’S USED CARS 5^th GRADE 460M Field tight after the jump with the exception of PARTY CHIC. BLACK OPS VERA and KOUKLA MOO checked at the 1st corner with both greyhounds losing considerable ground. TWO BEERS raced wide down the back straight. PARTY CHIC went wide at the home corner. The greyhound BLACK OPS VERA underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

RQ YOUNG GUNS HEAT 1 550M DIAMOND ROBYNE was best to begin with APOLLO DRYVA last away. DUDE PERFECT and JOHNNY THE FOX raced tight after the jump. DUDE PERFECT and APOLLO DRYVA went wide at the 1^st corner. ERASION who was leading at the time began to slow and drop back through the field. The greyhound ERASION underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained a strained back muscle and was stood down for a period of 21 days.

6.	RQ YOUNG GUNS HEAT 2 550M SHAVASANA was best to begin. VELOCITY MIA and ALPHA HECTOR went wide at the 1st corner. LORD LACHLAN raced wide down the back straight and for the remainder of the race. VELOCITY MIA was tightened for racing room at the back corner.

7.	READING CINEMAS 4/5^th GRADE 460M SOCIAL was best to begin with BALAKOVO noticeably slowest. BODGIE NIGHTS and HURRICANE HANSI raced tight at the 1^st corner, with BOGIE NIGHTS stumbling slightly. LITTLE ELL BEE also stumbled slightly at the first corner. HURRICANE HANSI and VELOCITY ELLE both raced wide down the back straight. HURRICANE HANSI and HAVOC AND MAYHEM checked at the home corner.
