NORM RANDALL MAIDEN 410M

DISPLOSION was the best to begin.  DANCING CHO and SLIDING DOORS were tightened for racing room and lost ground shortly after the start.  ARTHUR’S STEVIE and ZIPPING QUINT bumped on the turn into the front straight resulting in ZIPPING QUINT racing wide into the straight.

BOB THOMSON NOVICE 410M

FULMINATION was the best to begin.  KARMA’S TIME was slow to begin.  CHIEF JINX checked off MISS TURKEY and lost ground approaching the turn into the back straight.  CHIEF JINX checked off the heels of OILS AIN’T OILS and lost ground prior to turning into the front straight resulting in interference to KARMA’S TIME.  OILS AIN’T OILS and SUGAR HIT AIVAH raced wide into the front straight.

BRIAN PALMER 5th GRADE 410M

SCOMELD was the best to begin.  PASS THE AMMO was tightened for racing room and lost ground on the turn into the back straight.  SCOMELD checked off JACKO’S DOUG and lost ground in the back straight.  JACKO’S DOUG checked off the heels of SCOMELD and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight.

WEE WIN KENNELS 5th GRADE 410M

ALL FUELED UP was the best to begin.  HE TELLS LIES was tightened for racing room and checked off CHIEF BOLT on the turn into the back straight.  GO GWAN was tightened for racing room and lost ground entering the back straight.  GAR checked off GUNNADOO TWIST and lost considerable ground in the back straight.

ROB LOUND 4/5th GRADE 410M

Even start.  SMILES ALOT was tightened for racing room and lost ground shortly after the start.  MONOCHRONE checked off KARMA’S COMING and lost ground causing interference to SMILES ALOT on the turn into the back straight.

GRETA THOMSON 4th GRADE 410M

HARA’S FLYER was the best to begin.  BIG BOY BATINA was slow to begin.  SHAKE YOUR BOOTY checked off MANHATTAN MAID and lost ground on the turn into the back straight resulting in interference to BIG BOY BATINA and some inconvenience to HIGH CLASS MISS.  CHIPS AHOY and SHAKE YOUR BOOTY bumped on the turn out of the back straight resulting in CHIPS AHOY losing ground.  DILSTON BRAE and HIGH CLASS MISS bumped on the turn into the front straight.

LOUND’S SEA FOOD 5th GRADE 544M

The boxes opened prematurely denying the majority of the field a fair start.

 

Stewards reviewed the film of the race and confirmed the premature opening of the boxes.  Subsequently a ‘NO RACE’ was declared.
