Even start with RIMBA SAMBIA slow to begin.

 

DOWNTOWN PIXIE was tightened for racing room and lost ground prior to turning into the back straight.

 

KARMA’S TIME and KICKING KARMAR were tightened for racing room and lost ground on the turn into the back straight.

 

KARMA’S TIME checked off the heels of RIMBA SAMBIA and lost ground in the back straight.

 

WINNIE’S ROSE raced wide into the front straight.

Even start with MR. MACGREGOR slow to begin.

 

NO NOT ME was tightened for racing room and lost ground prior to turning into the back straight.

 

MR. MACGREGOR checked across the heels of WAYLON BALE and become unbalanced entering the back straight.

 

MR. MACGREGOR and FABULOUS STORY raced wide in the front straight.

FARINGDON was the best to begin.  ARTHUR’S STEVIE was marginally slow to begin.

 

GOLDENPAW FLYER checked across the heels of YOU CAN DO and lost ground on the turn into the front straight.

 

YOU CAN DO and GOLDENPAW FLYER raced wide in the front straight.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DALE HAWKINS 5TH GRADE (4) – 410M

 

Even start with SLIDING DOORS slow to begin.

 

CREED was tightened for racing room and lost ground on the turn into the back straight.

 

SCOMELD checked off the heels of NOT A WORD and lost ground on the turn into the back straight resulting in interference to SLIDING DOORS.

 

SCOMELD shifted out on the turn into the front straight bumping SLIDING DOORS heavily forcing that greyhound very wide.  SCOMELD continued to shift out forcing SLIDING DOORS extremely wide in the straight.  Stewards questioned the racing manners of SCOMELD in particular entering the front straight.  A veterinary examination of the greyhound revealed soreness to both shoulders.  Subsequently, Stewards acting under the provisions of GAR 69 B stood SCOMELD down from racing for a period of 10 days and the completion of a satisfactory trial for failing to pursue with injury.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DALE HAWKINS 5TH GRADE (4) – 410M

 

SWEET ROXETTE and ALL FUELED UP were the best to begin.  ONE PUMP was slow to begin.

 

HUCKABEE checked off ALL FUELED UP and lost ground on the turn into the back straight resulting in interference to GO PRANCER GO.

 

ONE PUMP checked across the hind quarters of HAWKE’S SPECIAL and lost ground on the turn into the back straight.

 

HAWKE’S SPECIAL and UNIVERSAL ONE bumped entering the back straight resulting in both greyhounds losing ground causing interference to ONE PUMP.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHANE GAUCI MIXED 3/4  - 410M

 

BELLA MARLO was the best to begin.  MR. CANNA was slow to begin.

 

MAURY SPIRIT and BELLA MARLO bumped in the front straight resulting in some inconvenience to both greyhounds

WELCOME GREG AND CAROL BEST 8 – 410M

 

BURNER BANT and TEMNICK were the best to begin.

 

TEMNICK checked off CHIEF BOLT and lost ground on the turn into the back straight.  Shortly after BURNER BANT checked off CHIEF BOLT and lost some ground.

 

Stewards advised trainer Robert Lound that there were concerns in relation to the racing manners of CHIEF BOLT in particular turning into the front straight. A warning was issued.

 

MANHATTAN MAID shifted out in the front straight bumping TEMNICK resulting in both greyhounds becoming unbalanced and MANHATTAN MAID falling.
