Stewards Trial 1 – 366m The greyhound SUSHI COWBOY performed a
satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of 366m in a time of 20.52 and
is now cleared to race at straight tracks only and
up to the distance of 366m. |

MAIDEN
HEAT 1 366M Even
start. MASTER DEAN checked across the
heels of CATCH ME KEITH shortly after the start. WALL OF VOODOO shifted out and bumped CATCH
ME KEITH at approximately the 200m point.
Stewards queried the racing manners of MASTER DEAN in particular
approaching the winning post. The
greyhound MASTER DEAN underwent a post
race veterinarian examination and no
apparent injuries were found. Stewards
advised trainer Mr. R Attard that the greyhound would be charged under Rule 69 (A) Failing to Pursue, 1st
offence, 28 days plus a satisfactory stewards’ trial 366m all tracks. |

MAIDEN HEAT 2 366M The start of this race was delayed
5 minutes to enable the vet to check PEYTON JOYCE and was passed fit to race. PEYTON JOYCE and HOT AN CHIPS bumped shortly after the
start. HOT AN CHIPS checked off OUR
DELICVERANCE and lost ground at approximately the 150m point. |

NOVICE 366M Even
start. DANCED ALL NITE checked across
the heels of NOSMO KING, became unbalanced and shifted out bumping TOOKA TRIP
shortly after the start. ROCKIN’ ALL
OVER and FANCY FREEL bumped at the 200m point resulting in both greyhounds
losing some ground. DUCKS AND DRAKE shifted out approaching the 100m point
tightening DEREK onto WESTMEAD DAFFIE onto TOOKA TRIP resulting in WESTMEAD
DAFFIE, DEREK and TOOKA TRIP losing ground.
ROCKIN’ ALL OVER and FANCY FREEL bumped approaching the winning post. The greyhound
DANCED ALL NITE underwent a post race veterinarian
examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the off side pin and
was stood down for a period of 10 days. |

KAY RUN and DEEJAY BURN bumped at the 100m point apporoximately. SPARK YOU UP checked across the heels of
SPORTFAN and lost ground after passing the 100m point. |

5th GRADE HEAT 2 366M Even start. BIG
TRIGGER, I’M A HOTSHOT, OKA’S ANGEL and LOOK THE
PART all bumped shortly after the start resulting in I’M A HOTSHOT becoming
unbalanced and shifting out bumping WALLOON SMARTIE causing both those
greyhounds to lose ground. I’M A HOTSHOT continued to shift out bumping WALLOON
SMARTIE approaching the 200m point and also bumping HONEY HORNET. GIFTED PINES checked across the heels of
OKA’S ANGEL at approximately the 200m point.
I’M A HOTSHOT and BIG TRIGGER bumped at
approximately the 100m point. |

5th GRADE HEAT 3 366M Even start with a GO TO CONDONG slow to begin. CELESTIAL SELENE checked across the heels
of CAPTAIN LOUIE shortly after the start.
LATE SHOW SNOWY checked off CAPTAIN LOUIE and lost some ground after
passing the 200m point. The greyhound ZAFONIC DANCER underwent a post race veterinarian examination and was found to have
suffered an injury to the off side wrist and was stood down for a period of
28 days. |

General tightening occurred shortly after the start resulting in MAGIC
PASS losing ground. |

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESSICA ASHFORD 3/4th
GRADE 366M Even start. MADAM LOOPSY and BABY BASSIN bumped as the
start was effected.
DASH TA FAME shifted out shortly after the start tightening GOOD YEAR
onto MADAM LOOPSY and BABY BASSIN.
DASH TO FAME continued to shift out causing some inconvenience to HYDROGEN. MADAM LOOPSY checked off GOOD YEAR and lost
ground approaching the 100m point. |
