MAIDEN 366M

SMART WERINA was best to begin.  SHEZA DRYVA and MISS MAMIE raced tight and checked immediately after the start.  Approaching the 200m MISS MAMIE shifted to the inside.

 

The greyhound MISS MAMIE underwent a post race veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found.

NOVICE 366M

SONTREI NESCUAL and ARFA SHOW OFF were best to begin.  NOSMO KING was slow.  GALWAY ALICE and ARFA SHOW OFF came together and bumped immediately after the start.  THIS IS LEGIT shifted to the outside shortly after the start.

NOVICE 366M

TOKEN TOFF and ELOISE were best to begin.  FONIC THUNDER was slow.  Approaching the 200m ELOISE shifted to the outside.  Shortly after BRIGHTEST STAR shifted in and impeded LA BAMBA causing it to lose momentum.  TOKEN TOFF shortened stride and dropped out of the race inside the last 100m.

 

The greyhound TOKEN TOFF underwent a post race veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found.  Stewards questioned trainer Mr. M Cuneo regarding the performance of TOKEN TOFF where it appeared to drop out in the concluding stages of the race.  When questioned Mr. Cuneo mentioned that, that the greyhound had its muzzle caught on 1 of its teeth in the catching pen and that his performance on the straight track is probably not up to standard and most likely won’t be racing it again.  Stewards noted this and advised Mr. Cuneo that the greyhound’s performance will be monitored going forward.

KENSA was best to begin.  HONEY HORNET slipped and almost fell coming out of the boxes.  KENSA and CHAMPAGNE SALLY raced tight inside the 1st 100m.  KENSA and CHAMPAGNE SALLY continued to race tight approaching the 200m and bumped on occasions.

 

The greyhound HONEY HORNET underwent a post race veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found.

5th GRADE HEAT 1 366M

MIGHTY NIMROD was best to begin.  CHASING RAINBOWS was slow.  Shortly after the start MIGHTY NIMROD, GIRL OVERBOARD and PARIS QUEEN raced tight and bumped with GIRL OVERBOARD checking PARIS QUEEN.  Shortly after GIRL OVERBOARD shifted in and impeded SISSO’S JOY who shifted to the outside immediately after and momentarily impeded MADAM LOOPSY as it did.

5th GRADE HEAT 2 366M

SWIFT NIMROD and REBEL KENNELLY were best to begin.  CLAMPET DRYVA was marginally slow.  RORY THE RACER shifted to the inside shortly after the start.  JACOBY RAIDER shifted to the outside approaching the 200m.  Just after the 200m BIG TRIGGER and CLAMPET DRYVA raced tight and checked.  Shortly after RORY THE RACER shifted out and collided with BIG TRIGGER and CLAMPET DRYVA causing CLAMPET DRYVA to stumble and become unbalanced losing considerable ground.  RORY THE RACER and BIG TRIGGER continued to race tight until just prior to the finish.

 

The greyhound CLAMPET DRYVA underwent a post race veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found.

LIGHTBODY TRANSPORT XMAS PARTY BEST 8 366M

NAUGHTY MAX was best to begin.  I’M A HOTSHOT was marginally slow.  I’M A HOTSHOT shifted to the outside approaching the 200m.  SUPER SOOK shifted out and momentarily impeded STRAIGHT SHADOW inside the last 100m.
