Race 1 – JUST GREYHOUND PHOTOS MAIDEN – 366M
SOME
CHANCE was best to begin. Shortly after
the start, SOME CHANCE and PAWTICIPATION bumped. At the 200m, PAWTICIPATION shifted out,
checking NOIRE DREAM, causing both greyhounds to be hampered.
Race 2 – ON THE BUNNY GREYHOUND TIPS NOVICE (1) – 366M
PATCHE
DE KAHN and FAKE NEWS were best to begin.
Shortly after the start, DRUID PRINCE, PATCHE DE KAHN and FAKE NEWS
collided, causing all greyhounds to be hampered. At the 200m, DRUID PRINCE shifted out
checking FAKE NEWS. At the 100m, FAKE
NEWS shifted in, at the same time PATCHE DE KAHN shifted out.
Race 3 – KRYS WERYNSKI APPRECIATION NOVICE (2) – 366M
Even
start. Shortly after the start, HOPPING
MAD shifted out checking NOSMO KING, causing both greyhounds to lose
ground. Approaching the 200m, NOSMO KING
shifted in and commenced to give ground in open running. Approaching the 100m, TOOK A FERGUS, CLEO NOT
CHLOE, HOPPING MAD and FIREFLY JAKE collided, causing all greyhounds to lose
ground at differing degrees.
The
greyhound NOSMO KING underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found
to have sustained an injury to the near side hock and was stood down for a
period of 14 days.
The
greyhound CLAMPET DRYVA underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was
found to have sustained an injury to the off side wrist and was stood down for
a period of 14 days.
Connection
to the greyhound, NOSMO KING, was advised that the greyhound would be charged
under Rule 71, Unsatisfactory Performance, and would be required to perform a
satisfactory stewards’ trail prior to racing.
Race 4 – GLEN MONKMAN APPRECIATION 5TH GRADE
HEAT 1 – 366M
MISS
FERNANDO was best to begin. Shortly
after the start, ZIPPING CLARK shifted in checking FANCY FREEL. Approaching the 200m, FANCY FREEL, ZIPPING
CLARK and GUNNA WINK collided, causing all greyhounds to be hampered. At the 200m, FANCY FREEL and GUNNA WINK
collided.
Race 5 – ADOPT A GREYHOUND 5TH GRADE HEAT 2 –
366M
CLAMPET
DRYVA was best to begin. Shortly after
the start all greyhounds, except CLAMPET DRYVA, checked and lost ground at
differing degrees. Approaching the 200m,
LION’S BLUE shifted out checking BRAVE ULYSSES.
At the 200m, BRAVE ULYSSES, LIVE WIRE and CLAMPET DRYVA shifted in.
Race 6 – BECOME A MEMBER @ CAPALABA 5TH GRADE
HEAT 3 – 366M
Even
start. Shortly after the start, STAR
BILLING, TOOK A SELFIE, MAGIC SWIFTLY and KICKER CREW raced tight. Approaching the 200m, TOOK A SELFIE shifted
out. At the 200m, STAR BILLING, MAGIC
SWIFTLY bumped. Approaching 100m, VIKING WHITE and TOOK A SELFIE collided.
Race 7 – CHICKA SCOTT APPRECIATION OPEN FINAL – 366M
Even
start. Shortly after the start, TOO MANY
BILLS shifted out, at the same time CASANOVA JOE, CHAMPAGNE SALLY and JEANNIE
DREAMING bumped. Approaching the 200m,
JEANNIE DREAMING shifted in, at the same time, ADHARA STEEL and BLACK PAWS
bumped. Approaching the 100m, CHAMPAGNE SALLY shifted in. At the 100m, CHAMPAGNE SALLY, BLACK PAWS and
ADHARA STEEL collided.
Race 8 – JOHN MURRAY BUNNY HEWTON MIXED 3/4TH
GRADE – 366M
Even start. Shortly after the start, MR. TERRIFIC
checking LADY PERLITA and DUSTY’S CHANCE.
At the same time, MEMPHIS and JAYCEE’S LADY bumped. Approaching the 200m, JAYCEE’S LADY shifted
out. At the 200m, LADY PERLITA shifted
in.
