satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of 520m in a time of 31.34 and
is now cleared all tracks. |

MAIDEN 431M Even
start with the exception of SENZA REBEL which was marginally slow to
begin. Shortly after the start ROSDUE
JITTERBUG, ORPHAN ANNIE, MADIES and SPRING ERNIE were tightened for room and
checked. Entering the first turn
ROSDUE JITTERBUG and MADIES were tightened for room and checked. SENZA REBEL which was trailing was hampered
and shifted outwards as a result.
Through the first turn ORPHAN ANNIE was tightened for room and
checked. Rounding the turn into the
back straight AMUS UNLEASHED was tightened for room and checked. ORPHAN ANNIE and SENZA REBEL which were
trailing were hampered as a result. In
the back straight ROSDUE JITTERBUG and SENZA REBEL were wide. Entering the turn out of the back straight
FROSTY BEJAY collided with SPRING ERNIE resulting in that runner to be
checked. |

SKY RACING MAIDEN 431M GO FOR CHUCK and RUM RUNNER were best to begin. HARA’S HOPE was slow to begin. At the start FLYING TWISTER and LADY SPUR
collided resulting in both runners to be checked. Shortly after LITE ME UP which was racing
to their outside was checked as a result.
Through the first turn LITE ME UP, FLYING TWISTER and LADY SPUR were
tightened for room and checked to varying degrees. HARA’S HOPE which was trailing was checked
as a result. Rounding the turn into
the back straight GO FOR CHUCK was tightened for room and checked. In the back straight GO FOR CHUCK bumped
HAY YOU STAR and was hampered as a result.
Entering the turn out of the back straight GO FOR CHUCK was tightened
for room and checked. The greyhound LADY SPUR underwent a post-race veterinary
examination and no apparent injuries were found. Stewards questioned Mr. P O’Reilly over the
performance of this greyhound. Mr. O’Reilly
stated that the greyhound is usually a good beginner. Stewards noted early interference in the
race was a key factor in the greyhound’s final finishing position. He did not support the greyhound in today’s
event. |

ME, WILDASH GEE and RUN RIVA RUN were slow to begin. Rounding the turn into the back straight
VEE BEE DOOLEY was tightened for room and momentarily hampered. Entering the turn out of the back straight
CASEY MINI ME made contact with the running rail and lost ground as a result. The greyhound
CASEY MINI ME underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent
injuries were found. |

incident. Entering the back straight
ROCKABILLY OSTI and RENALD’S RIVALRY bumped resulting in both runners to be

start ME TARZAN and WHAT A MESS collided resulting in both runners to be
checked. Shortly after the start
SPRING HOUDINI and MAYWYN WILL WIN were tightened for room and hampered. Through the first turn ZAFONIC DANCER and
ME TARZAN were tightened for room and checked. Rounding the turn into the back straight
MAYWYN WILL WIN and SHAYLOR ANDRE bumped on a number of occasions and were
hampered as a result. Rounding the
turn into the front straight WHAT A MESS and SHAYLOR ANDRE bumped on a number
of occasions and were checked as a result. |

GOLDEN VIEW GREYHOUND COMPLEX 5th GRADE HEAT 2
431M HO CHOI was slow to begin. Through the first turn RUN KAY RUN collided
with SCAR’S BROTHER resulting in that runner to be checked and shift
outwards. REIYN CHAAI and SAMANTHA
BENZ which were trailing were checked as a result of this incident. WATCH OUT RENALD which was trailing was
severely checked, fell and took no further competitive part. Entering the turn out of the back straight
HO CHOI bumped RUN KAY RUN resulting in that runner to be hampered. Shortly after SAMANTHA BENZ bumped ENKA
ALLEN resulting in that runner to be hampered. The greyhound WATCH OUT RENALD underwent a post-race
veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

NANTUCKET KAHN, SPRING SHELLEY, CHULU CHULULU and BOGIE MIRACLE were
tightened for room and checked to varying degrees. ZABDON CHEVY and MY FIRST PATCH which were
trailing were checked as a consequence.
Approaching the turn out of the back straight MY FIRST PATCH was
tightened for room and checked. BOGIE
MIRACLE which was trailing was checked as a result. Through the top turn MY FIRST PATCH and
BOGIE MIRACLE collided resulting in MY FIRST PATCH to be checked. The greyhound MY FIRST PATCH underwent a post-race
veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

HEAT 3 431M Just prior to the start of the event
the track rating was downgraded to ‘Slow’ due to weather conditions. MAYWYN’S COPY, COSMIC LAPTOP and HAPPY
GLEN were slow to begin. At the start
COSMIC LAPTOIP and HAPPY GLEN collided resulting in both runners to be checked. Approaching the first turn MAYWYN’S COPY
was tightened for room and hampered.
Rounding the turn into the back straight TITLE was tightened for room
and checked. LOTS OF TIME which was
racing to its outside was checked as a consequence. Entering the back straight MR. REALITY was
tightened for room and checked.

GENTABLUE PET FOOD 5th GRADE HEAT 4 431M DU HAST and MAYWYN IF LUCKY were slow to begin. Rounding the turn into the back straight
FROSTY AJAY was tightened for room and checked. SPRING DOTTIE which was trailing was checked
as a result. YOU JANE was severely
checked and lost considerable ground as a result of this incident. DU HAST and MAYWYN IF LUCKY which were
trailing that runner were checked as a result. In the front straight RAMBLIN’S ROSE and
EUROA AZAZ bumped on a number of occasions and were hampered as a result. The greyhound YOU JANE underwent a post-race veterinary
examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the near fore leg and
was stood down for a period of 7 days. |

TRANSPORTER which were trailing were checked as a consequence. Rounding the turn into the back straight
TECHNO LADY was tightened for room and checked. Entering the turn out of the back straight
TECHNO LADY was tightened for room and checked. Rounding the turn into the front straight
BOGART BLEND bumped KNOCKA’S ASSET resulting in that runner to be
hampered. In the front straight TECHNO
