MAIDEN 431M Even
start with the exception of KAY CEE SAZIA and REEF AND BEEF which were both
slow to begin. Approaching the turn
out of the back straight KAY CEE SAZIA was tightened for racing room, checked
and lost ground. GO FOR CHUCK which
was trailling was checked as a consequence and lost ground. In the front straight in the latter stages
of the race GO FOR CHUCK and BLUE GIRL BLUE collided. |

SKY RACING NOVICE 431M All races were put back 1 race due to severe thunder
storm with lightning activity within the vicinity. Even start with the exception of JUMP TO IT which was
slow to begin. GRAVEL raced wide
rounding the turn into the back straight.
Leaving the back straight BLACK KOALA and JUMP TO IT collided. Rounding the turn into the front straight
BLAZE ROSE HI was tightened for racing room, checked, stumbled and lost
ground. In the front straight during
the latter stages of the race GRAVEL and JUMP TO IT collided. |

start. Leaving the 1st turn
SURE SHOT and GALWAY EAGLE collided resulting in both greyhounds to be
checked and lose ground. In the back
straight SPOT ROSE HI and ASICLAO collided on a number of occasions resulting
in both greyhounds to be checked and lose ground. The greyhound
SPOT ROSE HI underwent a post race veterinarian examination and was found to
have suffered an injury to the near side wrist and was stood down for a
period of 10 days. |

5th GRADE HEAT 1 431M Even start.
Through the 1st turn OLD MOON MADNESS was tightened for
racing room, checked and lost ground.
Shortly after SMOKIN’ ALICE and DAISY DREAMS collided resulting in
DAISY DREAMS to be checked and lose ground.
Leaving the back straight SNOWBALL OTTO improved onto the heels of OLD
MOON MADNESS and lost ground. In the
front straight during the latter stages of the race DAISY DREAMS wa s
tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. |

CARAVAN WAREHOUSE 5th GRADE HEAT 2 431M Even start with the exception of VEGAS BOY which was
marginally slow to begin. All runners
with the exception of ASTIN’S WARRIOR and VEGAS BOY were tightened through
the 1st turn being checked and losing ground to varying degrees. In the back straight VEGAS BOY checked
across the heels of HEZA SIZE UP and lost ground. Leaving the back straight IRONBARK RICKY
was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Approaching the turn into the front
straight ANOTHER RED and HEZA SIZE UP collided. |

GOLDEN VIEW GREYHOUND COMPLEX 5th GRADE HEAT 3
431M Even start with the exception of ADAM ROSE HI and TINY
TURBO which were both slow to begin.
TINY TURBO failed to muster speed in the early stages of the race. Through the 1st turn RULE THE
ROAD and I’M GLAD collided resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and
lose ground. Leaving the 1st
turn FASCINATE JACOB shifted out which hampered the running of ARABIAN GO
DANI resulting in that greyhound to be checked and lose ground. DUDE PERFECT which was trailling was
checked as a consequence and lost ground.
Entering the back straight RULE THE ROAD and I’M GLAD collided
resulting in I’M GLAD to be checked and lose ground. Leaving the back straight ADAM ROSE HI was
tightened for racing room, checked, shifted out and collided with I’M GLAD
resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and lose ground. Shortly after DUDE PERFECT checked across
the heels of FASCINATE JACOB and lost ground. The greyhound TINY TURBO underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the off
hind leg and was stood down for a period of 21 days. |

3/4th GRADE 431M Even start.
Shortly after the start BOGIE TEEJAY slipped on the mat. Shortly after the start MAYWYN EMERALDS and
DUSTY’S CHANCE collided resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and lose
ground. Through the 1st
turn MAYWYN EMERALDS, DUSTY’S CHANCE, FARAHMAC, BOGIE TEEJAY and GUY FAWKES
all raced tight resulting in all greyhounds to be checked to varying
degrees. Approaching the turn into the
back straight DUSTY’S CHANCE and BOGIE TEEJAY collided. Entering the back straight FARAHMAC and GUY
FAWKES collided resulting in GUY FAWKES to be severely checked and fell
taking no further part in the race.
DUSTY’S CHANCE which was trailling was severely checked and lost
considerable ground as a result of this incident. Rounding the turn into the front straight
MAYWYN EMERALDS and FARAHMAC collided resulting in FARAHMAC to be checked and
lose ground. The greyhound GUY FAWKES underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the near
hind leg and was stood down for a period of 14 days. |

YOUNG MEMORIAL FINAL 4/5th GRADE FINAL 520M Even start with the exception of BIG
BAD BOB and DONNY’S BEACH which were both marginally slow to begin. Shortly after the start SMACK DAB and ARDEN
STREET collided. Rounding the turn out
of the front straight BIG BAB BOB was tightened for racing room, checked and
lost ground. HOOP DREAMS which was
trailling was checked as a consequence and lost ground. Leaving the back straight SMART MARLOW was
tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. The greyhound BIG BAD BOB underwent a
post race veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

GJ WALSH & CO 5th
GRADE HEAT 4 431M Even start with the exception of HOLLY KNOCKS and
SURFBOARD which were marginally slow to begin and ONE IN SIX which was slow
to begin. Shortly after the start ONE
IN SIX retired from the race.
Approaching the 1st turn OUT DELIVERANCE and GIFTED ANGEL
collided. Through the 1st
turn HOLLY KNOCKS and SURFBOARD collided resulting in both greyhounds to be
checked and lose ground. Shortly after
OUR DELIVERANCE and GIFTED ANGEL collided resulting in both greyhounds to be
checked and lose ground. Entering the
back straight HOLLY KNOCKS and SURFBOARD collided resulting in both
greyhounds to be checked and lose ground.
GIFTED ANGEL which was trailling was checked as a consequence and lost
ground. Leaving the back straight
HERPERIDES was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. HAYVILLE GEORGE which was trailling was
checked as a consequence and lost ground. The greyhound HESPERIDES underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. The greyhound ONE IN SIX underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. Stewards advised trainer Mr. G Keep that
the greyhound would be charged under Rule 69 (A) Failing to Pursue, 1st
offence, 28 days plus a satisfactory stewards’ trial 431m all tracks. The greyhound GIFTED ANGEL underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the near
hind foot and was stood down for a period of 10 days. |

GRADE 431M Even start with the exception of AILLA which was
marginally slow to begin. Through the
1st turn SNOW RUNNER which was tightened for racing room, checked
and lost ground. SHAYLOR LES which was
trailling was checked as a consequence and lost ground. Approaching the turn out of the back
straight WITHCOTT FLYER wads tightened for racing room, contacted the running
rail, checked and lost ground. The greyhound WITHCOTT FLYER underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. |
