The greyhound SPANISH HARBOUR performed a satisfactory 6 month trial over the distance of 431m in a time of 25.61

 

RACE REPORTS

An even start.  Shortly after the start SPRING SAL and DAILY MUSTER checked onto MR LEO.  Approaching the 1st turn LADYLIKE GRACE shifted out and impeded SPRING SAL which was checked as a result.  Leaving the turn into the back straight MR LEO was tightened for racing room, checked off heels and lost ground as a result.  Approaching the top turn SPRING SAL was impeded and checked off heels.  Leaving the turn into the front straight LADYLIKE GRACE checked off the heels of POSITIVE PLAN causing both greyhounds to be become unbalanced and check shortly after losing significant ground as a result.  Approaching the finish line GOLDEN STORM collided into POSITIVE PLAN causing both greyhounds to be severely checked as a result.

 

The greyhound LADYLIKE GRACE underwent a post – race veterinarian examination and no apparent injury was found.

 

The greyhound POSITIVE PLAN underwent a post – race veterinarian examination and no apparent injury was found.

SKY RACING MAIDEN HEAT 2 431M

GOOD GOLLY OLLY was best to begin.  LOCH ME UP, BROKEN YOKE and SPRING IVAN were all marginally slow away. In the 1st turn BROKEN YOKE shifted in checking into LOCH ME UP causing LOCH ME UP to check off heels and lose considerable ground.  Shortly after SPRING IVAN and MINNIE BLUE bumped causing MINNIE BLUE to become unbalanced and lose ground.  Leaving the turn into the back straight SPRING IVAN was momentarily impeded causing it to race wide.  Leaving the turn into the front straight MINNIE BLUE stumbled and lost ground.

 

The greyhound LOCH ME UP underwent a post – race veterinarian examination and no apparent injury was found.

TICKET TO PARIS was best to begin.  At the 1st turn BACK OFF was impeded and checked onto CRUZ RAMIREZ causing both greyhounds to lose ground.  Approaching the top turn CRUZ RAMIREZ was tightened for racing room and lost ground.

ALPHA 390 FINANCE 5TH GRADE 431M

An even start with the exception of THIS IS LEGIT which was marginally slow to begin.  Shortly after the start WHO SAID SO, BRASS ROAD, VIENNA CALLING and THUNDER OF FIRE came together and checked causing all those greyhounds to be checked to differing degrees.  Approaching the top turn THUNDER OF FIRE shifted in causing WHO SAID SO to be impeded and THIS IS LEGIT to be tightened for racing room.

An even start with the exception of MR RALPH which was slow. EBONY TAN, BAILEY BE GOOD and SPRING REINA raced tight at the 1st turn causing SPRING REINA to become unbalanced and to lose ground.  BAILEY BE GOOD raced wide in the back straight.  Approaching the turn into the front straight BAILEY BE GOOD was impeded and lost ground.  EBONY TAN and SPRING REINA raced tight over the concluding stages of the race.

TRUCK PARTS EXPRESS 5th GRADE 431M

TREMALY QUEEN was best to begin. WAYCOL BILL and REBEL KENNELLY were marginally slow to begin and raced tight afterwards.  Approaching the 1st turn DRAWCARD shifted out and collided with ZILLIE BEAN causing DRAWCARD to lose considerable ground.  Shortly after REBEL KENNELLY ran onto the hind quarters of GRETA’S GIFT causing both greyhounds to lose significant ground as a result.

 

The greyhound GRETA’S GIFT underwent a post – race veterinarian examination and no apparent injury was found.

STAR RISE was best to begin.  LIL MISS PINKY was very slow away.  Approaching the 1st turn SHOW BEKIM, REGAL WAZ and LIGHTNING WHITE raced tight and checked causing those greyhounds to lose ground and LIGHTNING WHITE to yield ground and take no further competitive part in the race thereafter.  BURNING OAK who was trailing was impeded as a result and lost ground.  Approaching the top turn SPRING AUDREY improved onto the hind quarters of SHOW BEKIM causing both greyhounds to lose significant ground.

 

The greyhound SHOW BEKIM underwent a post – race veterinarian examination and no apparent injury was found.

 

The greyhound LIGHTNING WHITE underwent a post – race veterinarian examination and was found to have to have suffered an injury to the off hind back muscle and was stood down for a period of 28 days.

8.

COFFEE AT RONI’S 5th GRADE FINAL 520M

Even start with the exception of BONKNOCKA LASS which was marginally slow to begin. Approaching the 1st turn out of the front straight WHAT A MESS was impeded and shifted out colliding into HOME LUCK causing both greyhounds to lose considerable ground as a result. Shortly after WHAT A MESS stumbled and commenced to yield ground, taking no further competitive part in the race. Leaving the turn into the back straight ROI LEAR KAHN and VELOCITY LINDER checked causing ROI LEAR KAHN to lose significant ground. Approaching the turn into the front straight VELOCITY LINDER was impeded causing it to become unbalanced and lose ground. Shortly after RO LEAR KAHN was tightened for racing room and lost ground.

 

The greyhound ROI LEAR KAHN underwent a post-race veterinarian examination and no apparent injury was found.

 

The greyhound WHAT A MESS underwent a post-race veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the off hock and was humanely euthanised.

An even start. At the 1st turn ZOU BISOU BISOU, LILY’S BEAN and FLASH GEE raced tight resulting in LILY’S BEAN to be tightened for racing room and FLASH GEE to check off heels and lose ground as a result.  Shortly after DOUBLE SWATZA and SONNY GEORGE raced tight and checked causing SONNY GEORGE to lose significant ground.  ZOU BISOU BISOU and LILY’S BEAN checked approaching the top turn, causing ZOU BISOU BISOU to lose ground.  Leaving the turn into the front straight NEDGO PRINCESS was impeded and then checked off the rear of BARNEY’S BOUNTY losing ground as a result.

SKY RACING 5th GRADE 431M

FARMOR PERHAPS and DAISY DREAMS were best to begin. IRISH SPICE, FLASH ROSE and TOKEN TOFF were all marginally slow.  FLASH ROSE and TOKEN TOFF raced tight and bumped just after start.  Leaving the turn into the back straight FARMOR PERHAPS was impeded and was checked off heels losing significant ground as a result.  Approaching the turn into the front straight BIKINI CLOUD checked off heels and lost considerable ground.

 

The greyhound BOGIE TEEJAY underwent a post-race veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the off side back muscle and was stood down for a period of 6 weeks.
