Shortly after the start, JETTA BERETTA, ROSDUE KOALA and EYE LIKE CAKE bump. Entering the 1^st turn, GOTCHA GIFT, JETTA BERETTA and ROSDUE KOLA collided at differing degrees, causing JETTA BERETTA and GALWAY LUDWIG to check and lose ground. Entering the top turn, JETTA BERETTA and ROSDUE KOLA collide, causing JETTA BERETTA to ease in running, hampering the run of EYE LIKE CAKE and GALWAY LUDWIG. The greyhound JETTA BERETTA underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. Stewards’ advised trainer, Mr T Brett, the greyhound JETTA BERETTA would be charged under Rule 69(a) Failing to Pursue 1^st Offence, 28 days and greyhound to perform a satisfactory stewards’ trial, over a distance of 431m, all tracks.

In the top turn, BROKE EVEN, CYNDIE’S ANNIE and QUEEN WERINA collide to varying degrees, causing QUEEN WERINA to check and lose ground. 4.	ALPHA 390 FINANCE NOVICE – 431M Even start, with the exception of CLICK COWAN being marginally slow away. Into the 1^st turn, CLICK COWAN, ROSDUE SHAKA and ROSDUE BARISTA collide, causing ROSDUE SHAKA to check and lose ground. In the back straight, ROSDUE BARISTA raced wide. In the top turn, ROSDUE BARISTA checks off the heels of CLICK COWAN. Entering the home straight, ROSDUE BARISTA, GRAY GREY GOOSE and LITTLE LUCK collided, causing all greyhounds to check and lose ground. BONDI GIRL was hampered in running as a consequence of this collision. The greyhound ROSDUE SHAKA underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. The greyhound ROSDUE BARISTA underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the off hind toenail and was stood down for a period of 14 days.

Out of the 1^st turn, DODGY DANCER and KYLE THE TANK bump, causing KYLE THE TANK to check and to lose ground. SPRING ELLIE raced wide in the back straight. Into the home straight, HAY HOPEY and DODGY DANCER bump.

Into the 1^st turn, LIGHTNING WHITE, STAR RISE and SURFBOARD bump, causing STAR RISE to check and to lose ground and tail out, taking no further competitive part in the race. Out of the top turn into the home straight, ORPHAN ANNIE checks off the heels of LET’S GO FABIO. The greyhound LIGHTNING WHITE underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. The greyhound STAR RISE underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the near hind leg and was stood down for a period of 7 days.
