25.76, and is now cleared to race all tracks, 431m.

DAVE THE RAVE and FLASH MAGIC were best to begin, with RISING BEYOND marginally slow away.  Shortly after the start, IRISH DAZZLER, SIENNA’S BOY, BALLYMAC JAY and SPRING PHOENIX all collided, causing SIENNA’S BOY and ROSEY’S LASS to check and lose ground.  Out of the 1st turn into the back straight, BALLYMAC JAY checked off the heels of SPRING PHOENIX, causing BALLYMAC JAY to check and lose ground. DAVE THE RAVE raced wide in the the back and front straight.

SKY RACING MAIDEN HEAT 2 – 431M

 

Even start, with the exception of PHAROAH’S GOLD which was marginally slow away.  Rounding the top turn, IRISH TRAVELLER, MAD ELLY DEE and PHAROAH’S GOLD bumped, causing PHAROAH’S GOLD to check and lose ground.  Approaching the winning post, MAD ELLY DEE and IRISH TRAVELLER bumped on a number of occasions.  COOL HAND GUS raced wide in the front and back straight.

Even start, with the exception of GALWAY CLARA which was marginally slow away.  Shortly after the start, SPRING REBEL and ROSDUE KIRRA collide, causing ROSDUE KIRRA to check and lose ground.  Entering the back straight, BONITA DE KAHN checked off the heels of STORM POWER, colliding with SPRING REBEL, causing both runners to be hampered in running.  In the back straight, BONITA DE KAHN got onto the heels of GALWAY CLARA, causing BONITA DE KAHN to check and lose ground and as a result, hampering the running of SPRING REBEL.

ALPHA 390 FINANCE NOVICE – 431M

 

Even start, with the exception of HERE TO THERE which was marginally slow away.  In the 1st turn, TRAV SAID, GYPSY WILD, BACK PLAY and MASTER TIDE, collide to differing degrees causing all greyhounds to lose momentum.  In the back straight, HERE TO THERE, SPRING WINE and MASTER TIDE collided, causing SPRING WINE to check and lose ground, as a result hampering the running of MASTER TIDE.  Entering the front straight, TRAV SAID and CAWBOURNE FAWNY collided, causing CAWBOURNE FAWNY lose momentum in running.

Even start.  Out of the 1st turn into the back straight, ASTIN’S WARRIOR and MY GLORIOUS GAL collided, causing MY GLORIOUS GAL to shift out colliding with SPRING ROY, causing SPRING ROY to check and lose ground. 

 

The greyhound MY GLORIOUS GAL underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

TREMBATH TYRE REPAIRS 5TH GRADE (1) – 431M

 

WILLY TOULA was best to begin.  In the 1st turn, STRUDEL, KOWBOY DE KAHN, GOOD DAZE AHEAD and MAM’S MAGIC all collided to differing degrees, causing all greyhounds to lose momentum in running.  GOOD DAZE AHEAD raced wide in the front and back straight.

Even start.  Shortly after the start, FOXY BE GOOD checked off the heels of SAIL SURFER, causing FOXY BE GOOD to lose momentum.  Entering the 1st turn, FOXY BE GOOD and TOPAZ TAN collided, causing both greyhounds to check and lose ground.  At the same stage of the race, SAIL SURFER, CYCLONE BARCI and LEST WE collided, causing LEST WE to check and lose ground, as a result hampering the running of LONG ROAD HOME.  Leaving the top turn, TOPAZ TAN checked off the heels of LEST WE, colliding with SKYLARK BROOKE, causing SKYLARK BROOKE to check and lose ground.

 

The greyhound FOXY BE GOOD underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

8.

BUTCHER CO 5TH GRADE HEAT 2 – 520M

 

Even start.  Entering the 1st turn, LILY’S BEAN and SURFBOARD collided, causing SURFBOARD to check off the heels of SWEET KARMAR.  Out of the 1st turn into the back straight, LILY’S BEAN checks off the heels of YEAH OKAY, hampering the running of SURFBOARD.  In the top turn, SWEET KARMAR turned its head outwards making muzzle contact with the ELUSIVE ARROW, hampering the running of both greyhounds.  Entering the front straight, RAZZIAI RAIN checks off the heels of LILY’S BEAN. 

 

The greyhound SWEET KARMAR underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

 

The greyhound ELUSIVE ARROW underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the near fore toe and was stood down for a period of 7 days.

 

Stewards’ advised trainer, Ms K Davies, the greyhound SWEET KARMAR would be charged under Rule 69 Marring 1st Offence, with the greyhound to be stood down for 28 days and required to perform a satisfactory stewards’ trial, 520m all tracks.

Even start, with the exception of ZILLIE BEAN which was slow away.  Into the 1st turn, LA BAMBA, ALLPA MAMA, KARLANI KARL and MUSTANG NOVA all collided at differing degrees, causing all greyhounds to be hampered in running.  MUSTANG NOVA raced wide down the back straight.  Entering the top turn, ALLPA MAMA checked off the heels of BUNDY BUCKS, colliding with SPRING LEMON, causing both greyhounds to check and lose ground. 

 

The greyhound LA BAMBA underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

 

The greyhound RATHNAIT underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

 

 

The greyhound SPRING LEMON underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

10.

SKY RACING 5TH GRADE (3) – 431M

 

Even start.  In the 1st turn, REAL JAZZ and SPRING THIEF collided, causing SPRING THIEF to check and lose ground.  Shortly thereafter, SONNY GEORGE collided with SPRING THIEF, causing both greyhounds to lose substantial ground.  In the back straight and front straight SPORTS WRITER raced wide.

 

The greyhound SPRING THIEF underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.
