Stewards’ Trial

The greyhound CYNDIE’S ANNIE performed a satisfactory stewards’ trial, over a distance of 431m, in a time of 25.21, and is now cleared to race all tracks.

RACE REPORTS

WWW.IPSWICHGREYHOUNDS.COM MDNPW – 431M RUSSIAN ROULETTE was best to begin, while EL BAZZA was slow. In the 1^st turn, ROSIE GAZE, GOTCHA GIFT and BIG BANG TEXADA were hampered. Entering the back straight RUSSIAN ROULETTE and OUTBACK DESTINY collided and lost ground. GOTCHA GIFT was wide in the back straight. Entering the top turn OUTBACK DESTINY was checked and lost ground. In the top turn BIG BANG TEXADA and NIGHT NINJA collided. EL BAZZA and NIGHT NINJA raced tight over the concluding stages. The greyhound OUTBACK DESTINY underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

SKY RACING MAIDEN – 431M OUTBACK SHADOW was best to begin. In the 1^st turn BLUE GIRL BLUE, FULL IMPACT and IVY’S BOUQUET were checked and lost ground. MISS EMMY shifted out and marred the running of OUTBACK SHADOW that was racing to its outside, causing both greyhounds to lose ground. Approaching the top turn, BLUE GIRL BLUE checked off heels. In the top turn, MASTER ZIMBO contacted the heels of FULL IMPACT, both greyhounds were unbalanced. MISS EMMY was wide in the home straight. Stewards’ advised connections to MISS EMMY that the greyhound would be charged under Rule 69 Marring 1^st Offence, with the greyhound being stood down for a period of 28 days, and will be required to perform a satisfactory stewards’ trial prior to racing.

3.	GREYHOUND_DATA.COM NOVICE (1) – 431M SNOW GIRL was best to begin, FARMOR IMAGE began awkwardly. In the 1^st turn, FARMOR SUSPENSE checked off heels and collided with DRIVES ME CRAZY, causing this greyhound to shift out and collide with ROUGH ODDS, which fell and took no further part in the event. Entering the top turn, BROKEN YOLK shifted out hampering WHO SAID SO. The greyhound ROUGH ODDS underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a neck strain injury and was stood down for a period of 7 days.

4.	WWW.IPSWICHGREYHOUNDS.COM NOVICE (2) – 431M UNIQUE SPIRIT and MAYWYN’S NOMAD were slow to begin. In the 1^st turn, LITTLE LUCK and UNIQUE SPIRIT collided and were unbalanced. TIGGY BUZZARD and SWEET OAKS raced tight and were unbalanced. APACHE VILLA checked off heels, causing BLACK KOALA and MAYWYN’S NOMAD to be inconvenienced. In the back straight, LITTLE LUCK shifted out and raced wide, and as a result APACHE VILLA was hampered. LITTLE LUCK raced wide in the home straight.

CITY COUNTRY FOOD SERVICE 5^TH GRADE HEAT 1 – 431M VELOCITY ZARIN was best to begin, while ASH TIDE was slow. At the 1^st turn, NO LAYING BACK, SASSY OAKS and ALPHA DAENERYS collided and lost ground. NOT MY TIME and VELOCITY ZARIN all raced tight and became unbalanced. VELOCITY ZARIN lost ground as a result. SASSY OAKS and ALPHA DAENERYS that were following, were inconvenienced. Entering the back straight, NO LAYING BACK checked off heels and raced wide. In the top turn, ALPHA DAENERYS contacted the heels of VELOCITY ZARIN and both greyhounds were checked.

COUNT WERINA was tightened. REGAL RECALL was wide into the home straight. LADY CRIMSON and DREAMING DORA raced wide in the home straight.

7.	TRUCK PARTS EXPRESS 5^TH GRADE FINAL – 431M Even start. Shortly after the start, VALKYRIE BLUE, SHILOH RANCH, BOGIE TEEJAY and FARMOR IN TIME all collided and were unbalanced. VALKYRIE BLUE was wide in the back straight. Entering the home straight, BOGIE TEEJAY contacted the heels of SHILOH RANCH and both greyhounds were unbalanced.

In the 1^st turn, MAYWYN PROMISES was tightened and lost ground. VALKYRIE NIGHT, which was following, was inconvenienced. PRYO BOB was checked and lost ground. In the back straight, MAYWYN PROMISES shifted out colliding with VALKYRIE NIGHT. DODGY DANCER, MAYWYN PETTYCASH, VALKYRIE NIGHT and MAYWYN PROMISES were wide in the back straight. MAYWYN PETTYCASH and MAYWYN PROMISES were wide in the home straight.

9.	COFFEE AT RONI’S 5^TH GRADE HEAT 3 – 431M BELLEEK and SAMURAI PIZZACAT were best to begin. At the start, MASTER BULLET, NEXT and DOUBLE OAK collided. In the 1^st turn, DOUBLE OAK, NEXT and ALPHA RHEA collided and lost ground, MASTER BULLET was also hampered.

At the 1^st turn, MADRE contacted the hindquarters of HAD BETTER DAZE, and both greyhounds became unbalanced with MISS SHRAPNEL, that was following, inconvenienced as a result. In the 1^st turn, RUMBLING JAKE and WHITE EAGLE collided. MADRE and HAD BETTER DAZE collided, causing HAD BETTER DAZE to lose ground. Entering the back straight, WHITE EAGLE was checked and lost ground. RUMBLING JAKE and HAD BETTER DAZE collided on the home straight. The greyhound HAD BETTER DAZE underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the near side hip and was stood down for a period of 10 days.
