The greyhound SHINING SUPREME performed a
satisfactory stewards’ trial, over a distance of 431m, in a
time of 25.34, and is now cleared to race all
tracks.

MAIDEN – 520M Best
away was EYE LIKE CAKE and LALLYBROCH, with APPLAUD ME slowly away. Soon after the start, EYE HATE CAKE and
ROAD SIDE ASSIST collided, causing EYE HATE CAKE to drop to the rear. On the turn out of the home straight,
APPLAUD ME checked off the heels of ZABDON ZINGER, causing APPLAUD ME to drop
back checking ROAD SIDE ASSIST and PHAROAH’S GOLD. Entering the back straight, PHAROAH’S GOLD
checked off the heels of APPLAUD ME. In
the back straight and home straight, EYE HATE CAKE was wide. Connections
of PHAROAH’S GOLD was questioned by stewards’ and trainer, Mr I Hoggan,
stated that the greyhound did a stewards’ trial on Monday over the 331m, and
raced 2nd in a time of 19.04.
He did not support the greyhound and can’t give any explanation of why
the support was there for the greyhound.
Mr Hoggan also stated that the best time the greyhound has trialled at
Ipswich over 520m, was 31.20. The
greyhound PHAROAH’S GOLD underwent a post race veterinary examination and no
apparent injuries were found. |

MAIDEN FINAL – 520M Best away was NITRO NORMA, with STORM POWER and WILL BUT
WIN slowly away. Entering the turn out
of the home straight, STORM POWER and NEVER collide, causing NEVER to race
wide on the turn. Entering the back
straight, WILL BUT WIN and STOP THE IMAGE collide, with STORM POWER dropping
to the rear. In the back straight,
NEVER was wide. Entering the home
straight, STOP THE IMAGE checked off the heels of WILL BUT WIN. In the home straight, TAHBILK and LADYLIKE
GRACE collide, with NEVER wide. The greyhound STORM POWER underwent a post race
veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the near
side hip and was stood down for a period of 10 days. |

the start, KOWBOY DE KAHN and GALA SHOW collide, causing GALA SHOW to
fall. Entering the turn into the back
straight, KOWBOY DE KAHN checked off the heels of RINGBARK MASON. In the back straight, REAL JAZZ checked off
the heels of WILDASH SEMI, causing REAL JAZZ to race wide. Entering the turn out of the back straight,
SUITE ALEXIS and KOWBOY DE KAHN collide.
In the home straight, REAL JAZZ was wide. The greyhound GALA SHOW underwent a post race veterinary
examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the off side hind

competitive part in the event. In the
