UBET MAIDEN 407M

RED JAMIE was slow away.  GAS QUEEN lost ground after being tightened by COLLUSION on the first turn.

GARRARD’S HORSE AND HOUND NOVICE 407M

The start was delayed 4 minutes due a lure malfunction.

 

WHAMBULANCE was slow away.  JUST SMOKEN lost ground entering the back straight when crossed sharply by BEETOWN ROSEY.  Leaving the back straight BOKARM LEO bumped FAN THE FLAME on two occasions and shifted extremely wide on the track.

WENDY MULRY 5th GRADE 407M

CRASH COURSE was slow away.  SAM CARD and VELOCITY ROSE bumped heavily at the start.  LORIAN EXPRESS crossed NILE HARKS sharply resulting in NILE HARKS checking.  SAM CARD raced wide for the majority.  VELOCITY ROSE raced wide for the majority.

NEWS EXPRESS RICHARDSON ROAD 5th GRADE 510M

LICORICE BULLET and MYSTERIOUS ROSE were bumped shortly after the start by SUBTITLE which shifted out. As a result of this incident all three greyhounds lost ground.  Rounding the home turn, ADHARA BAY checked as it shifted out across the heels of ALADDIN’S ANGEL.

PATLAW SECURITIES 4th &  5th GRADE 407M

LOLLYHARKS and YANCY BALE were slow away.  SHOTOTSU shifted out heavily bumping VELOCITY MARLINA and forcing it out across MILKY CHANCE.  LOLLYHARKS checked out across the heels of MY KIDS TUITION entering the back straight.  Leaving the back straight VELOCITY MARLINA shifted in resulting in SHOTOTSU being checked and losing ground.

6.

DYNAMIC ELECTRICAL 4th GRADE 407M

Shortly after the start EDGY shifted out and heavily bumped ABERDEEN REBEL which was forced out and bumped heavily with HARRY HARKS.  ABERDEEN REBEL and HARRY HARKS both lost ground as a result of this incident.  LOGICAL OPTION was tightened between ELITE MARJ and BLITZING BETTY upon entering the back straight.  BLITZING BETTY and LOGICAL OPTION bumped on two occasions when rounding the home turn.

COUNTRY CUP OPEN HEAT 1 510M

Shortly after the start LIKA ZIRCON shifted in bumping ARBORSTONE resulting in ARBORSTONE losing ground.  VELOCITY MIA and ARE JAY DUREE bumped rounding the first turn.

8.

COUNTRY CUP OPEN HEAT 2 510M

PEREZ was slow into stride.  PARTIAL DEFENCE ran into the back of LORD CERINE causing PARTIAL DEFENCE to check outwards bumping heavily with BALAKOVO forcing BALAKOVO to collide with PEREZ.  As a result of this incident, PARTIAL DEFENCE, PEREZ and BALAKOVO all lost ground.

SANDAL WELDING MASTERS 5th GRADE 407M

Due to the lure front wheel dislodging from the rail half way through the running of the event, stewards acting under the provisions of R56(1) declared it a no race and directed all monies to be refunded.

WAYNE CLIFFORD BEST 8 407M

After a lure malfunction in Race 9, the lure was replaced and tested 4 times prior to the running of this event.

 

OLLIE HARKS and DEE BOSH were both slow to begin.
