Race 1 - NEWSXPRESS RICHARDSON ROAD NOVICE 407m

1 Xork Allen – Slow into stride. Bumped rounding the home turn.

4 Precious Hope – Slowed considerably over the concluding stages failing to pursue the lure, by reason of injury. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to be suffering a sprain to the off hind leg. Trainer Darren Taylor was advised that, under the provisions of GAR69, Precious Hope would be stood down from racing for a period of 10 days and must complete a satisfactory Stewards trial prior to racing again.

6 Spring Napa – Slow into stride. Made heavy contact with another runner rounding the home turn and lost ground.

Race 2 – ROCKHAMPTON MAIDEN 1000 (HEAT 1) 407m

2 Tommy Lava – Severely tightened and lost ground rounding the first turn. Tightened and lost ground in the early stages of the back straight. Held up briefly in the later stages of the home turn.

3 Rogue Star - Severely tightened and lost ground rounding the first turn.

4 Electron Kev - Severely tightened and lost ground rounding the first turn.

6 Slick Seven – Tightened and hampered rounding the first turn.

8 Dr. Braelyn – Extremely slow to begin.

Race 3 – ROCKHAMPTON MAIDEN 1000 (HEAT 2) 407m

1 Loose Change – Checked to avoid the heels on another runner which shifted out and lost ground rounding the home turn.

2 Archie Harks – Tightened and lost ground rounding the first turn. Clipped the heels of another runner when leaving the first turn and nearly fell subsequently losing significant ground. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.

3 Paua of Bondi – Tightened and hampered rounding the first turn.

4 Elle Koda – Hampered when obliged to shift out to avoid another runner rounding the first turn.

5 Crazy Lucy – Checked and lost ground rounding the home turn.

6 Sumatran Star – Tightened and lost ground rounding the first.

8 Durama Flash – Hampered when another runner was losing ground rounding the first turn.

Race 4 – ROCKY FEED AND SEED 5TH GRADE 407m

2 Roman Sand – Tightened and lost ground rounding the first turn. Checked and lost ground in the middle stages of the back straight.

3 Limerick Prince – Tightened and hampered rounding the first turn.

4 Zipping Martha – Hampered entering the back straight.

7 Nazare – Slow to begin.

8 Chopper’s Chance – Slow to begin.

Race 5 – QLD BRED (HEAT 1) 5TH GRADE 407m

1 Package – Tightened and lost ground shortly after the start.

2 Farmor Watch It - Tightened and lost ground shortly after the start. Hampered rounding the first turn.

3 Bowie Beach – Marginally slow to begin. Tightened and lost ground shortly after the start.

4 Fiesty Senorita - Tightened and lost ground shortly after the start. Hampered rounding the first turn.

5 Miss Emmy - Tightened and lost ground shortly after the start.

6 Speed to Burn – Marginally slow to begin.

7 Angry Angus – Shifted in abruptly shortly after the start. 

Race 6 – QLD BRED (HEAT 2) 5TH GRADE 407m

1 Peppa Jewel – Tightened and lost ground rounding the first turn. Tightened and hampered in the early stages of the home straight.

2 Farmor Watch Her – Marginally slow to begin. Shifted out and marred the running of another runner rounding the home turn and for a short distance after straightening into the home straight. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities. Trainer Scott Mcguiness was advised that, under the provisions of GAR 69(1)(a), Farmor Watch Her would be stood down from racing at Rockhampton for a period of 28 days and must complete a satisfactory Stewards trial prior to racing in again.

4 El Mangos – Tightened and lost ground rounding the first turn.

7 Enough Knowledge – Checked and lost ground rounding the first turn.

Race 7 – PATLAW SECURITES 3RD & 4TH GRADE 407m

1 Velocity Cara – Tightened and lost ground in the early stages of the back straight.

4 Longhill Lad – Checked and lost ground in the early stages of the back straight.

6 Velocity Pippa – Marginally slow to begin. Tightened and lost ground shortly after the start.

Race 8 – DYNAMIC ELECTRICAL BEST 8 407m

1 Lock ‘Em – Tightened and lost ground in the early stages of the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to be suffering from a sprain to the muscle behind the near shoulder and was stood down from racing for a period of 10 days.

3 Headliner – Tightened and hampered rounding the first turn. Hampered rounding the home turn.

6 Factional – Slow to begin.

Race 9 – DIPLOCKS COLLISION REPAIR CENTRE 4th GRADE 407m

1 Crickets Dash – Hampered for some distance rounding the home turn.

3 Cisco Sniper – Became awkward when racing on the heels on another runner rounding the home turn.

4 Special Speed – Tightened and lost ground shortly after the start.

6 Fashion Flirt – Shifted in abruptly shortly after the start.

Race 10 – TAB 5th GRADE 407m

1 Mon Manny Beach – Bumped in the later stages on the home turn. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.

2 Oriental Ollie – Bumped shortly after the start.

4 Really Royal – Shifted in shortly after the start.

5 Music Maestro – Slow to begin.

8 Due to Sizzle – Slow to begin.
