ANGLISS MEATS TOWNSVILLE NOVICE 380M

Even start.  SILVER MOUSE was tightened for racing room and lost ground in the back straight. 

RAPPER’S DELIGHT checked off BELLE’S HAWKE and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight causing interference to SILVER MOUSE.

FV ARUNTA 5th GRADE 380M

FARMOR GREENIES was the best to begin.  MUTLEY ON FRIDAY, SCOTTIE’S GIRL and CHAOTIC MAGIC were all slow into stride.  EASY OFF shifted out to race wide on the turn into the front straight forcing CHAOTIC MAGIC wide.

TDB CARPENTRY & MAINTENANCE 5th GRADE 380M

Even start with ARTS slow to begin.  General tightening occurred on the turn out of the back straight resulting in FULMINATION, GO PRANCER GO and NATTY’S ON FIRE being checked and losing considerable ground.

FROST & SPARK ELECTRICAL 4Th GRADE 380M

ALL FUELED UP was the best to begin.  BURNER BANT and TRISHA NOLAN were slow to begin.  BURNER BANT was tightened for racing room and lost ground in the back straight.  BLUEFIRE CHALICE checked off ALL FUELED UP and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight.  TRISHA NOLAN checked off MACADAM and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight.  EL MALAMUTE commenced to lose ground in the back straight and finished a distant last.  A veterinary examination of the greyhound revealed a near hind muscle injury.

BOHLE BARN HOTEL MOTEL 3/4th GRADE 380M

CHIPS AHOY was the best to begin.  SIR REGINALD and SUPERFORMANCE were tightened for racing room and lost ground in the back straight.  MAYWYN ACCOLADES checked off TEMNICK and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight.  SIR REGINALD and SUPERFORMANCE bumped entering the front straight resulting in both greyhounds losing some ground.

BIG HAMMER HARDWARE 5th GRADE HEAT 1 498M

Even start with SLIDING DOORS slow to begin.  General tightening occurred on the first turn after the start resulting in INNOCENT MAN losing ground.  UNVERSAL ONE checked off GO GWAN on the turn into the back straight resulting in UNIVERSAL ONE becoming unbalanced shifting out on to JASPER ROSE causing JASPER ROSE to lose considerable ground.  UNIVERSAL ONE checked off NOT A WORD and lost ground entering the back straight causing interference to MAYWYN WILL WIN and INNOCENT MAN.

CHEAPA AUTO SPARES 5th GRADE HEAT 2 498M

WATCH OUT RENALD was the best to begin.  ZIPPING OUTLAW checked off STREAKS OF GOLD and lost ground back on to QUEEN OF CAWDOR on the turn into the back straight.  STREAKS OF GOLD was tightened for racing room and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight.

GOLDENVIEW GREYHOUND COMPLEX BEST 8 380M

Even start.  General tightening occurred shortly after the start resulting in SLOW DANCER, ATOMIC OPIE, BLACK MASS and AMY’S ELITE all losing ground.  SLOW DANCER checked off BLACK MASS and lost considerable ground prior to turning out of the back straight.

O’REILLY PETFOOD 5th GRADE 380M

Even start.  COOPER’S LESSON and GOJO MOJO bumped entering the turn out of the back straight resulting in COOPER’S LESSON losing ground back on to SMOOTH FLAME.  RONRAY BULLET checked off PASS THE AMMO and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight.

QUALITY TIMBERS MAREEBA 5th GRADE 380M

SENORITA REGINA was the best to begin.  VELOCITY AIM checked off SENORITA REGINJA and lost ground on to HE TELLS LIES prior to turning out of the back straight.  VELOCITY AIM improved on to the heels of MISS LARDIE DA prior to turning into the front straight resulting in both greyhounds losing ground.  MISS LARDIE DA shifted out and bumped HE TELLS LIES on the turn into the front straight resulting in both greyhounds becoming unbalanced and losing some ground.
