ANGLISS MEATS TOWNSVILLE MAIDEN 380M

SPILL THE BEER and CAPE DE BELLE were the best to begin.  MARKY SHARKY was slow to begin.  SPILL THE BEER checked off BIRR and lost ground in the back straight resulting in interference to TAHNE’S PICK who lost considerable ground as a result.  SILVER WEASEL checked across the heels of BIRR entering the front straight.  BIRR and CAPE DE BELLE bumped in the front straight.

MCP RACING NOVICE 380M

DESTINI TORPEDO was the best to begin.  BANJO AN’ HENRY checked off the heels of RHONDA’S BEAR and became unbalanced in the back straight.  BANJO AN’ HENRY raced wide into the front straight.

DAN THE PAINTER MAN 5th GRADE 380M

COOPER’S LESSON was the best to begin.  BED OF ROSES checked off OLD MATERIAL and lost considerable ground in the back straight.  TEMNICK shifted out to race wide on the turn into the front straight forcing OLD MATERIAL wide.  LODGEMENT raced wide into and down the front straight.

SCOOPS FISH & CHIPS 5th GRADE 380M

Even start with RHONDA’S DOUGIE and RUEBEN LUCKA marginally slow to begin.  MR. MACGREGOR was slow to begin.  TRAVELLIN’ MAN was tightened for racing room and lost ground in the back straight.  SLIPPERY COIN shifted out on the turn into the front straight bumping DOWNTOWN PIXIE resulting in both greyhounds becoming unbalanced and losing ground.  SLIPPERY COIN continued to race wide in the front straight forcing DOWNTOWN PIXIE wide.

BURDEKIN VET SERVICES 4th GRADE 380M

Even start.  BEAMING BOUNCER was tightened for racing room and lost ground in the back straight.  BRINDI CHOPPER checked off GO PRANCER GO and lost considerable ground on the turn out of the back straight.  GO PRANCER GO also lost ground as a result of the incident.  SIR REGINALD shifted out on the turn into the front straight bumping BRINDI CHOPPER forcing that greyhound to race wide in the straight.

BIG HAMMER HARDWARE 3/4th GRADE 380M

RAMBO RITSON was the best to begin.  UNIVERSAL ONE and GO GWAN were marginally slow to begin.  MADAGASTER was slow to begin.  RAMBO RITSON and OLD MATE KICK bumped after turning out of the back straight resulting in both greyhounds becoming unbalanced and losing ground.  Both greyhounds continued to bump into the turn into the front straight resulting in OLD MARTE KICK losing further ground.

ALL RIG LIFTING & ENGINEERING 1/2nd GRADE 380M

Even start with SUPERFORMANCE and BACK STREET BOY slow to begin.  SUPERFORMANCE checked off the heels of BACK STREET BOY and lost ground prior to turning out of the back straight.  GOLD TOTAL and ROCKET’S MAGIC bumped on the turn into the front straight.  Shortly after ROCKET’S MAGIC. FERAL CHERAL and GOLD TOTAL bumped resulting in the three greyhounds becoming unbalanced and losing ground.

ACELL THERAPHY COUNTRY CUP  498M

The start of the race was delayed 1.30 minutes due to the lure failing to start on the first occasion.  All starters were removed from the boxes and checked and were then re-boxed when the problem was rectified.  Even start with SLIDING DOORS slow to begin.  NO NOT ME checked off FARINGDON and lost ground on the first turn after the start.  ALPHA HECTOR checked off HUCKABEE and lost ground on the turn into the back straight resulting in interference to FARINGDON, NO NOT ME and LISCOYLE LADY.

FV NAPIER 4/5th GRADE 380M

CABARET TONIGHT was the best to begin.  MR. CANNA was slow to begin.  CABARET TONIGHT was tightened for racing room and lost considerable ground back through the field on the turn out of the back straight resulting in interference to SKY LARK, BOWENVALE, MR. CANNA and PALEFACE SCOTCH.  DREAM WEAVER raced wide into the front straight.

LUXURY PAINTS TOWNSVILLE 5th GRADE 380M

ALL FUELED UP and SMOOTH FLAME were the best to begin.  HARBOUR REIGN was tightened for racing room and lost ground in the back straight.  BELLE’S HAWKE checked off GOOD PEOPLE and lost ground in the back straight.  GOOD PEOPLE checked off SMOOTH FLAME and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight resulting in interference to BELLE’S HAWKE.  Shortly after WINNIE’S ROSE checked off SMOOTH FLAME and lost ground causing interference to ALL FUELED UP.  ALL FUELED UP raced wide into the front straight.
