Unsatisfactory Performance Trial

The greyhound LODGEMENT performed a satisfactory performance trial over the distance of 498m in a time of 28.78 and is cleared to race at all tracks.

ANGLISS MEATS TOWNSVILLE MAIDEN 380M

 

FANCY A BEER was the best to begin.

 

STRONG ENOUGH was tightened for racing room and lost ground in the back straight.

 

CAPE DE BELLE was tightened for racing room and lost ground in the back straight.

 

STRONG ENOUGH improved on to the heels of GROOVY SWEET approaching the turn out of the back straight resulting in both greyhounds losing ground.

 

CAPE DE BEDLLE shifted out on the turn into the front straight bumping GROOVY STREET forcing that greyhound to race wide.

 

SILVER WEASEL raced wide in the front straight.

MCGUIRE’S RACING MAIDEN 380M

 

Even start with OLDMATE GRETEL showing early speed.

 

ORBILICIOUS checked off SILVEDR SNIPER and lost ground shortly after the start.

 

ORBILICIOUS checked off TAHNE’S PICK and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight.

 

BOYS ROUND HERE and OLDMATE GRETEL bumped on several occasions approaching the finish line resulting in both greyhounds being inconvenienced.

TOWN AUTOMATICS NOVICE 380M

 

Even start with OH MY BLONDE marginally slow to begin.

 

BANJO AN’ HENRY and KICKING KARMAR were tightened for racing room and lost ground shortly after the start.

 

DYNA FABLE checked off CHEEKY KAYA and lost ground back on to KICKING KARMAR.

 

BANJO AN’ HENRY checked across the heels of CHEEKY KAYA prior to turning into the front straight.

Even start with ILLY BALE very slow to begin.

 

DOWNTOWN PIXIE checked off WAYLON BALE and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight.

 

SLATER’S PICK checked off CALL ME DORY and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight.

5.

NATHAN RICHARDS 5TH GRADE 498M

 

Even start with BED OF ROSES slow to begin.

 

RUEBEN LUCKA checked across the heels of QUEEN OF CAWDOR bumping SLIDING DOORS and continued out on to BROTHER ROB causing that greyhound to lose considerable ground.

 

Stewards queried the racing manners of RUEBEN LUCKA, however, the greyhound was afforded the benefit of a very grave doubt and was stood down from racing under the provisions of GAR71 until the completion of a satisfactory trial for a unsatisfactory performance.

WATERS ABRASIVE BLASTING 4TH GRADE 380M

 

Even start.

 

HARBOUR REIGN and AMY’S ELITE were tightened for racing room and lost ground in the back straight.

 

SIR REGINALD checked off the heels of LISCOYLE LADY and lost ground prior to turning out of the back straight causing interference to WHATTA PASS and in turn to AMY’S ELITE.

 

HARBOUR REIGN checked off the heels of LOTS OF TIME and lost ground after turning out of the back straight.

7.

CHRISTINE RALPH MIXED 3 /4 GRADE 380M

 

Even start.

 

GAGAN ELL became unbalanced and almost fell approaching the turn out of the back straight.  A veterinary examination of the greyhound revealed a neck strain.

 

RUM RUNNER checked off the heels of NOT A WORD and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight.

KOOLOOP COLLARS BEST 8 380M

 

Even start.

 

GO GWAN and INNOCENT MAN were tightened for racing room and lost ground shortly after the start.

 

GO GWAN checked off INNOCENT MAN and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight.

 

BRINDI CHOPPER, INNOCENT MAN and FERAL CHERAL raced wide in the home straight.

ROAD MONSTER was the best to begin.

 

ROAD MONSTER and WINNIE’S ROSE raced wide in the home straight.

TARQUIN NEAL 5TH GRADE 380M

 

Even start with DREAM WEAVER and LAWBRINGER slow to begin.  ROCKIN’ TONIGHT and AZRTHUR’S STEVIE were marginally slow to begin.

 

CABARET TONIGHT was tightened for racing room and lost ground prior to turning out of the back straight.

 

LAWBRINGER checked off NATTY’S ON FIRE and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight resulting in interference to ARTHUR’S STEVIE.  Shortly after GO PRANCER GO checked off NATTY’S ON FIRE and lost ground causing interference to DREAM WEAVER.

 

DREAM WEAVDER raced wide into the front straight.
