Even start. Shortly after the start CAPE DE BELLE and BAG LADY were tightened for racing room and lost ground.

MCP RACING NOVICE – 380M

 

Even start. Leaving the back straight SWAP ME clipped heels and lost ground. Leaving the turn out of the back straight CLYDEBANK BOY clipped heels and lost ground. Entering the front straight STRONG ENOUGH and SWAP ME bumped.

 

The greyhound CLYDEBANK BOY underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

SCOOPS FISH & CHIPS 5TH GRADE (1) – 380M

 

Even start with PASS THE AMMO marginally slow. Leaving the turn out of the back straight GO GWAN was tightened for racing room and gave no further competitive part in the race.

 

The greyhound GO GWAN underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the off side hock and was humanely euthanised.

 

The greyhound PASS THE AMMO underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the off near hind foot and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

ALL FUELED UP and ROWDY SPRITE were best to begin, with APPREHENSION marginally slow. Approaching the 1st turn, APPREHENSION and PAPPA DOES MAMBO collided, resulting in APPREHENSION to lose ground. In the 1st turn, APPREHENSION collided with NO NOT ME and BELLE’S HAWK, causing APPREHENSION and NO NOT ME to lose ground. Leaving the 1st turn, MRS POLETTI was checked and lost ground.

 

The greyhound APPREHENSION underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

GO PRANCER GO was best to begin. Shortly after the start, ROCKIN’ TONIGHT was tightened for racing room, resulting in SUPERFORMANCE to be checked, and both greyhounds to lose ground. Rounding the turn into the front straight, ROCKIN’ TONIGHT, BRINDI CHOPPER and RUM RUNNNER collided, causing BRINDI CHOPPER and RUM RUNNER to lose ground.

TOWNSVILLE GRAND PRIX OPEN FINAL – 498M

 

BIMBADGEN MAN was best to begin, LICORICE SHOT marginally slow. In the 1st turn, LICORICE SHOT and BIMBADGEN MAN bumped, causing LICORICE SHOT to lose ground. In the top turn LICORICE SHOT was tightened for racing room, causing DALMATYNSKI to be checked, and both greyhounds to lose ground.

Even start. Shortly after the start, TINA SIERRA and POPPY CHOOKY collided, resulting in MOTOWN HOLLY to be checked and all greyhounds to lose ground. Leaving the 1st turn, TINA SIERRA was tightened for racing room and lost ground.

 

The greyhound TINA SIERRA underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.
