The start of the race was delayed 45 seconds due to interstate harness racing.

PRAWN BOAT (3) – Slow to start.

CAPTAIN PUGWASH (4) – Slow to start.

SHOWGIRL LOLA (5) – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.  Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

SEGREDO (8) – Checked off heels on the turn into the front straight.

Race 2 – Burdekin Vet Services | Novice (1) | 380m

DIRTY CHAI (1) – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.  Checked by another runner on the turn out of the back straight.  Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

CRACKERJACK KOBY (3) – Checked off another runner prior to turning out of the back straight.

PADORA’S GLORY (6) – Checked by another runner and fell on the turn out of the back straight.  Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained a fracture to the near shoulder and was humanely euthanised by the veterinarian.

MIDNIGHT SWIM (8) – Checked by another runner and fell on the turn out of the back straight.  Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the near hind tendon and was humanely euthanised by the veterinarian.

Race 3 – Billy Thomas | Novice (2) | 380m

JUST FOR JAKE (1) – Slow to begin.

ICKY THE JET (2) – Checked off another runner shortly after the start.  Bumped another runner entering the front straight.

LOVELY MAZ (3) – Checked off another runner prior to turning out of the back straight.

BREEASH MAGIC (7) – Slow to begin.  Checked off another runner prior to turning out of the back straight.

LET’S GO PAPPA (8) – Bumped another runner entering the front straight.

INNOCENT MAN (1) – Checked off another runner prior to turning into the front straight.

WESTMEAD WARRIOR (2) – Bumped another inside runner and became unbalanced, shifted out and bumped another outside runner on the turn into the front straight.

SPARKLING SHOGUN (4) – Slow to begin.  Bumped another runner on the turn into the front straight.

KRISBAR WEE WOW (6) – Bumped by another runner on the turn into the front straight.

BELLE’S HAWKE (7) – Checked off another runner prior to turning into the front straight.

AEROBIC DIGESTOR (1) – Checked off another runner approaching the turn out of the back straight.

CHIRON (2) – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.  Checked off heels prior to tuning into the front straight.  Shifted out to race wide inconveniencing another runner entering the front straight.

BENNY BULLDOZER (3) – Raced wide into the front straight.

SILVER WEASEL (4) – Checked off another runner shortly after the start.  Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.  Raced wide into the front straight.  Inconvenienced by another runner entering the front straight.

MOE HEIGHTS (8) – Lost ground shortly after the start.  Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

Race 6 – Lounds Fresh Seafood | Grade 5 | 498m

Trainer R. Lound was fined $50 under the provisions of GAR 48 for failing to have a catcher present in the catching pen for BREAKER CHARLIE.

WILD WISH (3) – Checked off another runner on the turn into the back straight.  Raced wide into the front straight.

BREAKER CHARLIE (4) – Slow to begin.  Checked by another runner on the turn into the back straight.

MIDNIGHT MCQUEEN (5) – Checked off another runner on the turn into the back straight.  Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the near hind foot and was stood down for a period of 10 days.
