SHOWGIRL LOLA (3) – Jumped awkwardly and was slow to begin.  Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.  Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

HAY DAN (4) – Marginally slow to begin.  Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.  Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

FABULOUS DAN (8) – Slow into stride as the start was effected.

Race 3 – Angliss Meats | Novice | 380m

JUST FOR JAKE (1) – Slow to begin.

GO TIM GO (2) – Lost ground on the turn out of the back straight.  Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the toe and was stood down for a period of 5 days.

LOVELY MAZ (4) – Shifted out to race wide entering the front straight.  Bumped another runner in the front straight.  Stewards question the racing manner of LOVELY MAZ in the front straight. After reviewing the film and speaking with trainer J Forster no further action was taken.  Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained a tail injury and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

MICKY THE JET (5) – Raced on by another runner on the turn into the front straight.

MAGGI ROSE (6) – Bumped another runner in the front straight. 

MOOLINDA (7) – Checked off heels on the turn into the front straight and became unbalanced losing considerable ground.

NORSE VIKING (5) – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

VELOCITY LAYLA (3) – Bumped another runner on the turn into the back straight.  Checked off another runner entering the back straight.  Checked across heels on the turn into the front straight.  Bumped another runner in the front straight.

CLOVER LEE (7) – Bumped another runner on the turn into the back straight.

SHAKE THE PAINT (8) – Bumped another runner in the front straight.

PAINT THE OCEAN (2) – Checked off another runner as the start was effected.  Tightened for racing room and checked off another runner almost falling on the turn into the back straight.  Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

RIPPLEBROOK BEN (5) – Bumped another runner shortly after the start.  Checked off another runner became unbalanced and almost fell on the turn into the back straight.  Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

OLIVER LEE (6) – Checked off another runner and fell in the back straight.  Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained a compound fracture to the near hind tibia and was humanely euthanised by the veterinarian.
