Race 1. WATTOS EARTHMOVING QTIS MAIDEN PLATE 1100m
Mac Me Mate – Stewards accepted the explanation tendered by Trainer Ms. N Homann in relation to the late declaration of Jockey N Yadi.
Benvenuti – Slowly away.
Lormez Love - Slowly away. Travelled wide throughout.
Miss Boyd – Fractious pre-race. Raced ungenerously throughout. Trainer Ms. S D’Avila was advised a warning would be placed on the filly’s racing manners and further that any nominations at TAB meetings would be refused until the filly displays improved parading and racing manners at Country meetings.
Badboy Charlie – Laid in under pressure down the running.
Race 2. TOLGA LIONS CLUB BENCHMARK 69 HANDICAP 1000m
Centro Superior – Slowly away. Laid in under pressure down the running.
Starena – Over-raced in the middle stages.
Race 3. WATTOS EARTHMOVING RATINGS BAND 0 - 50 HANDICAP 1000m
Our Danny Boy – Underwent a Veterinary examination upon arrival on-course after Trainer Mr. M Dale reported the gelding had become fractious in transit. Cleared to start.
Keodor – Slowly away. Trailed the field throughout. A Veterinary examination immediately post-race revealed no abnormalities. However Trainer Mr. T Rowe reported to Stewards that the gelding had bled from both nostrils shortly after in the tie-up. Mr. Rowe was advised that this being the first bleeding episode the gelding will incur the mandatory 3 months ban from racing and will be required to gallop 1000m satisfactorily in the presence of a Steward prior to again being permitted to start in a race.
Flamin’ Sid – Jockey N Yadi reported that the gelding had hung in for the majority of the race.
Race 4. MCMAHONS BETTA HOME LIVING BENCHMARK 45 HANDICAP 1200m
Style Line – Difficult to load delaying the start. Slowly away after beginning awkwardly. Trainer Mr K. Mearns was advised that the mare would be require to trial satisfactorily prior to next start.
Aguias – Blundered on jumping.
Shudakeptim – Had to be steadied near the 700m when racing in restricted room.
Miss Celita – Was inconveniced passing the 800m having to be steadied off the heels of another runner which was racing ungenerously. Jockey S Pawsey was fined the sum of $100 under the provisions of AR132(7)(a)(ii) excessive whip use prior to the 100m (7 times).
Race 5. ATHERTON TABLELAND AIR SERVICE BENCHMARK 69 HANDICAP 1400m
Super Mario – Blundered on jumping losing ground.
Speed Eight – Shifted out abruptly soon after jumping refusing to take part in the race and dislodging App. R Shred who declared herself free of injury. Trainer Mr K. Mearns was advised that the gelding would be required to trial satisfactorily prior to next start.
Race 6. LOCAL BOOKIES BENCHMARK 45 HANDICAP 1400m\
Rangerzane – Began awkwardly.
Gouldian – Slowly into stride. Finish tailed off. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainer Mr. G Horner advised it is now the intention to retire the gelding from racing. Nonetheless Mr Horner was advised should circumstances change, Gouldian will be required to trial satisfactorily prior to again being permitted to start in a race.
Accordian - Slowly into stride.
Arnhem Beauty – Raced wide in the early and middle stages.
Spirited Character - Raced wide in the early and middle stages.

Race 1. Miss Boyd. Nominations to be refused at TAB meetings until displays improved parading and racing manners at Country meetings.
Race 3. Keodor – Bled both nostrils. 1st episode. 3 months ban and 1000m satisfactory gallop in the presence of a Steward. AR79.
Race 4. Style Line – Reluctant to load. Slowly away. Satisfactory trial.
Race 5. Speed Eight – Refused to take part in race. Satisfactory trial.
Race 1 – Miss Boyd – Warning on parade manners and racing manners. Not to nominate at TAB meetings. Satisfactory trial.
