Race 1: BARCALDINE RACE CLUB CLASS 2 PLATE - 1000 metres
 
GESSNER – Hung in down the home straight under pressure.
 
BAYSIDE BANDIT – Slow to begin and travelled wide for much of the race.
 
BOLD TRAVELLER – Ducked out nearing the 100m and apprentice Bell had to stop riding to correct her mount.
 
LEND ME A TENNER – Jumped inwards heavily contacting BON DANCER, then lay in shortly after the start contacting BON DANCER again.
 
NOTHING TO DANCE – Held up for clear running down the home straight.
 
OTTO’S BROTHER – Slow to begin.
 
BON DANCER – Heavily contacted at the start and again shortly after the start.
 
 
Race 2: BARCALDINE RACE CLUB CLASS 6 PLATE - 1000 metres 
 
DRAGON FIRE – Heavily contacted at the start causing the gelding to be slow away, then slow into stride and hung in down the home straight.
 
STYLISH SON – Jumped away awkwardly and inwards, heavily contacting DRAGON FIRE.
 
SPURSYN – Slow to begin and travelled wide for much of the race.
 
ELDIYM – Travelled wide in the early stages.
 
MAKE AMENDS – Jumped away awkwardly.
 
Race 3: BARCALDINE RACE CLUB BM 50 HANDICAP - 1300 metres  
 
COOL RAIN – Lay in over the concluding stages.
 
HIDDEN ROAD – Raced greenly down the back straight hampering runners either side, then lay in and lay out under pressure over the concluding stages proving difficult to ride out.
 
DIFFERENT SHADE – Slow into stride.
 
A STAR BORN – Jumped outwards.
 
LITTLE MISS TEE – Slow to begin and travelled wide in the later stages of the race.
 
Race 4: BARCALDINE RACE CLUB RACE TO ROMA QUALIFIER BM 70 HANDICAP - 1300 metres  
 
DUTCH COURAGE and ROYAL FROLIC both pushed through the barriers prior to the race start and had to be restrained and brought back to be reloaded in the barriers.
 
FOUR IRON – Slow into stride.
 
SAMMY SPARROW – Travelled wide for much of the race, hung out rounding the home turn and then hung in down the home straight. Apprentice Ross was reminded of her obligation when her mount is shifting ground.
 
 
Race 5: BARCALDINE RACE CLUB BM 55 HANDICAP - 1600 metres      
 
There was a delay to the start of race 5 as kangaroos were removed from the track prior to jumping.
 
HUSSON’S SHOUT – Slow to begin, then travelled wide in the middle stages with no cover.
 
ARGENTO PERLO – Slow to begin.
 
STYLISH LUCK – Travelled wide in the middle stages with cover.
